I am in my last month of being a GD over at Conie Fong Art and Design Facebook Group
She has had another wonderful new release that I got to work with. This one is called Susie Sunshine and she comes in four different options. She faces right or left and you can have her with or without the Balloon! I chose to have her facing right with the balloon and make my first ever Lollipop Card to give to Chloe (My 8 Year Old Daughter) for Valentines Day.
You can find this gorgeous new image and all the rest of the wonderful images right HERE in the store.
I have seen these Lollipop Cards appearing more and more around Blogland and I really wanted to have a go at one (Think there may be more than one because they are a bit addictive lol). I was a bit stuck as to how to hide the straw and the back of the lace etc and I couldn't find any posts that showed the back when others had made them. But as you can see (I have added a photo of the reverse lol) I got around this.
I coloured the image using Copics. The Circles are cut using Spellbinders dies and then I added red gathered lace to frame them. I handtied a bow in the sheer ribbon and left the ends extra long to trail down the Straw. To finish the front I added Red Heart Gems. To make the reverse I repeated the circle cutting and lace and then glued the two halves together over the straw. The message I typed on the laptop before cutting out with the Spellbinders Circle Die. I then added three Red Heart Gems.
I would like to enter this Lollipop in to the following Challenges
Fabrika Fantasy - Love
SheepSki Designs Challenges - Red/Hearts/Romance/Love
Pearly Sparkles Challenge - Love Love Love
