Lace & Pearls Christmas

Hi Everyone

It's time for the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.  The Theme for the next fortnight is Lace and/or Pearls.  We have some great sponsors and the DT have made som fabulous Inspiration Cards for you so come on over and take a look and link up with us.


For My DT Inspiration Card I have used an Image from one of our sponsors.  Its called I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas and its from Doctor Digi House of Stamps


I coloured the Image using ProMarkers.  My Base/Frame Layers are Bazzill Basics and the Patterned Paper is from Wild Rose Studio.  I popped the lace on a Red Glitter Card to make it stand out a bit.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday and I stamped this using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  To finish I added some Pearl Gems.

So Foxy!

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all ok.  It's very cold and frosty here today!  I am sharing with you a card I have made using one of the Recent New Releases at Fabrika Fantasy.



This Image is called Cute Fox Cub  and you can find this one and all the other fabulous images in the store here.

I made a Male Birthday Card using this image.  I coloured it with ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Baase/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blue.  The Gingham Card is from my stash and the Plainer Paper is from LOTV.   I cut  the Stars from the Gingham too using Memory Box Precious Stars Die.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad to stamp it up.  To finish I added Blue Pearl Gems.

Mother's Day with Little Elf Kia

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.  The theme for the next fortnight is Mother's Day/Female.  It would be great if you would come on over and join in with us, we would love to see your girly creations.


For my DT inspiration card I used an image from Aurora Wings called Little Elf Kia.  I have had this image for a very long time but always put off colouring it as I have seen it coloured up by some wonderful crafters and I didn't think I would be able to do it justice.  Anyway I have had a go and I am pleased with how she turned out.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.

My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics and the Spotty Paper is from Galeria Papieru's Sprinkle Pastel Paper Pad.  The sentiment I stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and is from Stampingallday.  The die cuts are a Memory Box Whimsical Circle and I added some Paper Flowers.  To finish I popped Pearl Gems in the Flower Centres and added a Pink Satin Bow.  I hope my Mum likes it, I think she will!

Favourite Colours at CCC

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.  The theme for the next fortnight is Use Your Favourite Colour Combo.  Would be great if you would come on over and join in with us.

We have the fabulous Aurora Wings sponsoring this challenge.  To be in with a chance of winning the prize come on over and link up with your favourite colours with us.


The DT were kindly given some image to work with.  I chose to work with Ballerina Kitty 3 and as you will know if you are a regular to my blog I love colouring in Black and White (among others!) so I went with this.  I coloured the image using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to it.  I used glimmer chalk to add grey around the image to take off some of the white background.  The card shape I cut using Spellbinders Grand Dahlia Die from a Bazzill Basics Card.  The Patterned Paper is from Dovecraft Back to Basics Paper Pack.  I added a Black Satin Bow and Black Pearl Gems.

Earth Fairy

Hi Everyone

There have been several new releases at Fabrika Fantasy over the last couple of weeks.  This is the latest one and she is called Earth Fairy.  She was a pleasure to colour and I have another idea brewing for when I colour her up again.


You will find her and all the other gorgeous images in the Store.

Also we have a new Facebook Group open where you can come and enter monthly contests using these wonderful images.  At the moment the theme is Winter is Everywhere.  It would be lovely to see what wintry creations you can make using Fabrika Fantasy Images.  Click HERE to come and join the group.

Now onto my card.  For this I used a 6" Square Card Blank and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics.  The Pink Mottled Paper is from Scrap and Craft.  I used a Spellbinders Flourish Die to cut the Green flourishes and added a Pink Doily.  I decorated the flourishes with Paper Flowers and to finish added some Heart Gems and Pearl Gems.

Criss Cross Cart

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.  The theme for the next fortnight is Tag You're It.  Would be great to see you over at the challenge blog playing along with us.


We have some fabulous sponsors for this challenge and I got to work with an image called Spring Cart from Robyn's Fetish which I coloured using ProMarkers.

For my DT Inspiration I made a Criss Cross Card for my Mother-In-Laws Birthday.  I used a tutorial template I found on the Internet and used a Martha Stewart Border Punch for the arch border decoration.  The Black Base card is a Bazzill Basics and the Pink Card is an embossed card.  I Cut the Tag using my Tonic Die and tied a Satin Ribbon on it.  The Sentiment and Verse are both from Stampingallday and I stamped them using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added an Organza Black Polka Dot Ribbon and finished by adding Black Pearl Gems.

WOW Young Deer

Hi Everyone

I hope you are all well.

I posted on my blog last night about a fun new Facebook Group that Fabrika Fantasy have started up.  Here is some Inspiration for you.


They have a colouring contest.  The challenge is to use their fabulous digis and make a wintry card and then post it in the Winter is Everywhere Album.  The winner will receive 3 digi's of their choice.  I am hoping to see some amazing wintry cards especially ones that use digis that are not necessarily meant for winter.  With that in mind you can get Pirate Parrot digi free at the moment!

I used one of my absolute favourite images called Young Deer and made a White on White card.  I haven't done one of these for a while so thought it was a good opportunity.

The Card Blank is a 6" Square and I have used a Swiss Dots Embossed White Card as the background.  I have used a Diesire Die for the Snowflake Border and then Memory Box Dies for the Large Snowflakes.  The smaller ones I have punched.  I added a White Satin Bow and White Pearl Gems to finish.

Wedded Bliss!

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges 


The theme for the next fortnight is Valentine/Love.  It would be lovely if you would come over and join in with us and also check out what the Talented Team have made.

I am sharing my card that I have made for a friend that is getting married this month.  It fit this theme perfectly! 

The Image is called Morris and Mildred and is from Doctor Digis House of Stanps.  I coloured it using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to her Tiara.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and I layered Bazzill Navy Card into Silver Mirror Card for my Frame Layers.  The Patterned Card is from Hunkydory.  Both Sentiments are from Hunkydory Clearly Stamps. I used a Memory Box Loveland Corner Die and the hearts that get cut out I have dotted around the card.  I added a Blue Paper Rose and a Satin Navy Bow.  I finished by adding Blue Pearl Gems.

Lots of Love with Unicorn Challenge Blog

Hi Everyone

Its time for another Challenge at Unicorn Challenge Blog.  This Month the theme is Lots of Love and this is my DT Inspiration. 
Please come on over to the challenge and join in.

For my card I have used an Image by Morgan Fitzsimons and it is called Valentine 7

I made a card for my Husband, we don't normally do Valentines Day but I thought it might be nice to surprise him this year!  The Card Blank is7" Square and I coloured the Image using ProMarkers.  I added Diamond Sparkles Midnight Black Glitter to the roses.  My Base/Frame Layer is a Red Card.  The Patterned Papers are from the Paper Pack and I Stamped the Sentiment and Verse using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I used Memory Box Precious Hearts Die to cut the Hearts and to finished added Red Gems (Hearts and a Pearl)

Looking Good!

Hi Everyone

Its the start of a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.  


The theme for the next fortnight is Anything Goes.  That's a nice easy one so please come on over and join in with us.  We have two sponsors for this challenge.  I got to work with an Image called  Bettie Bow from Digistamps4Joy.  Thank you to them and Pink Gem Designs for their sponsorship of this challenge.


For my DT Inspiration card I coloured the Image using ProMarkers and added a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to the Bow's to make them Sparkle.  My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Black Bird Shade and the Pink Polka Dot Paper is from my Stash.  My X-Cut Corner punch rounded the corners.   I used a Tattered Lace Flourish Die and cut this in the BlackBird and then decorated it up using Pink Faceted Gem Hearts.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday and as usual for me was stamped up using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I actually bought several sentiments as I wasn't sure what to use with this image.  I found that I had ideas coming out of my ears with this one so I might well use it again at a later date so watch this space!  To finish I added some Pearl Gems and a Pink Satin Bow.
