Gingerbread House

Hi Everyone

I love this time of year when all the new Christmas Images are released.

I jumped in with both feet this month after seeing the bonus class at Kit and Clowder was Gingerbread Colouring.  I have always disliked how my gingerbread people turn out and so I signed up to join the monthly class so that I could get the bonus Gingerbread class and learn how to colour it up so that it looked ok.

I am sooooo happy with how this turned out.  To find out more about Kit and Clowder colouring classes click HERE

This is coloured with Copics and a White Gelly Roll pen.
The photo really doesn't due it justice lol.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square.   I layered the finished image onto Gold Glitter and Gold Mirror Card and stamped the sentiment.

I don't normally do many close ups but as I am so pleased with my colouring here are a few!!

Halloween Lollipop

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 



The Image I am using this time is called Spooky Chloe

I have made a Halloween Lollipop.  

I used GoKreate Circe Dies to cut the shape and edged it with White Nottingham Gathered Lace.  I added the straw and attached a Silver Spider Charm to some Twine and hand tied a bow.  To finish I added a Purple Die Cut Spider and some black Pearl Gems.

Halloween Owl

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 


This is one of the latest releases over at  called Halloween Olivia Owl You get the Topper and also the pieces which I cut with a craft knife to decoupage it. (although its hard to see the layers in the photo but this cutie is really 3d!!)

I layered the decoupaged Topper onto black shimmer and purple card layers.

Santa's Gifts

Hi Everyone

This is my second post today showcasing another new release from Digi Doodle Studios 


I so love colouring Santa's and this one is particularly CUTE

He is called Santa's Gifts and I have coloured him with Copics, ProMarkers and a White Gelly Roll Pen.

I made this card ready for our youngest Son.  The image is just prefect for him and this card needed no frills so I printed it quite large so it would take up alot of the card front.

I added some Diamond Sparkles to the furry bits.

Witchy Shoes

Hi Everyone

Its such an exciting day for me.  Digi Doodle Studios did a new release on 6th October and the team have been showcasing them daily.  It feels like its taken forever to get around to my turn lol.  

I love all the new releases and I had trouble deciding which one to work with so I went for two (the other is in a separate post today!)  

You can find all the new releases and the other fabulous images in the store HERE 


This one is called Witchy Shoes and I fell in love with this.  I usually colour up people/animals and this was a pleasant change as there was no skin, hair or fur to colour!  I had such fun with the tights!

I used Copics to colour this up and added sparkle to the star wreath at the top using a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.  I hope that you can see this in the close up photo.  I used Memento Inks to go round the image this was a mix of Grey and Yellow to take off the white around the image!

The card blank is a 7" Square and I used black shimmer card and yellow bazzill as the frame layers.  The spotty paper is a digital download which I bought a few years ago on Etsy.

The "Halloween" and the bows are both Tattered Lace dies which came in the Advent calendar a couple of years ago!

I really did love colouring this one up and think its jumped up to number one on my DDS favourite list.

Christmas Shopping in Pink

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the new challenge over at Monochrome Magic today. 

 Sadly due to the lack of entries this is the last challenge at Monochrome Magic


The theme for this month is Anything Goes Monochrome or Monochrome with a TWIST of PINK.

I hope that you can come on over and play along with me this time.

For my DT card I have used this lovely digi from Digi Doodle Studios and it is called Ivy's Christmas Shopping Spree  I have coloured this with Copics and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter

The card is a 6" Square and the spotty card is from my stash.  I have used a Memory Box Snowflake Border die and added clear pink gems to the snowflake centres.  I added a Pink Ribbon and a Polka Dot Bow and also popped on some Pink Peel Off Letters.

House Captain!

Hi Everyone

I have been waiting to share this until he received his official badge from school (Which he now has!)

Our Eldest Son was voted in as House Captain at school and this is the congratulations card I made him.  We are so proud of him and he was so pleased to be voted in and be head of Hamble House!

The Image is from Pink Gem Designs and he is called School Boy Andy.  I have coloured him with Copics


The card is a 6" square and the stripey paper is from my stash.  I typed the sentiments on the laptop before printing the Image.  The numbers I die cut using a Robert Addams Die.

Unicorn with Rose

Hi Everyone

Just incase you didn't know Polkadoodles have decided to take some of the Pink Gem Images into their store and her is one that is available called Unicorn Rose.

I have coloured the image using Copics and added some Pink Memento ink around her.  The stars I have coloured with a Copic then added a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen over the top so that they sparkle.  I added some twine, a Pink Paper Rose and a Silver Heart Charm which has a Pink stone in the centre.

Do you wanna Build A Snowman?

Hi Everyone

Yes!! I am still working with Pink Gem Designs images.


Janet has kept her  Pink Gem Designs Etsy Shop open and is still designing and adding new Digi's through there!!  This is one of the latest ones to land in the Store.

He is called Building a Snowman Andy and I have coloured him with Copics

I have made this card for my Eldest Son who will be Eleven by the time Christmas comes around.  This image is fabulous for boys/men of all ages!

The card is a 7" Square and the patterned paper is from my Stash.  I cut the image and oval layer using a Spellbinders die and the sentiments are hand stamped and are from Stampingallday.  I cut the snowflakes fron Blue Glitter card using a Tattered Lace due and popped on some blue pearl gems.

Pattis Pumkpin Easel Card

Hi Everyone

I am here to share with you an Autumn card I have made using this cute image from Digi Doodle Studios called Patti's Pumpkin Patch 

 I coloured the image using Copics

The card is a 6" Easel Card and the patterned paper is from LOTV.  I die cut the leaves and pumpkin which are non named dies and added on some "Autumn Colour" flowers.  The sentiment which I used as the "Stop" is hand stamped ans if from Stampingallday.

Pink Squirrel

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage today.



The theme for this month is Pink or Halloween.

The DT were kindly given a choice of digi stamps to use and I chose to work with one of my old favourites Dancing Squirrel which I have coloured using Copics

The card blank is a 6" Square and the patterned paper is from LOTV.  I cut the image out using a GoKreate circle die and layered this onto a scalloped circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Die.  I added a Pink Satin ribbon, hand tied a bow and finished by adding Pink pearl gems.

Rowena Witch

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 



The theme for this month is Autumn or Halloween.  You can choose which you would like to do or maybe do one of each!!  I hope you can come and play along with us.

I have gone with the Halloween side of things.  I just fell in love with this new image from Illustrations by T.  She is called Rowena and you can find her and all the other spooky (but cute and sometimes saucy) characters in the Halloween section HERE 

I have coloured her using Copics

The card blank is a 7" Square and I used Black and Bright Green for the layers.  I used a Poppystamps Die to cut the Spiderweb Border and the bunting is an unamed die.  You can't actually see in the photo but it does say "HALLOWEEN"  The spiders and bats were also cut using a die.  I finished off by adding Black Pearl Gems.

Pink Winter Birthday

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the new challenge over at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog 


The theme for this month is Pink OR Halloween.  We know that some of you don't really celebrate Halloween so we are giving you a choice this time.

For my DT card I used this gorgeously cute image called Candy Cupcake Winter Birthday and I have coloured her up using Copics and Diamond Sparkles Glitter

The card shape I cut using a GoKreate Frame Die and the smaller layers which I used to cut and layer the image are a non named die.  The balloons are also a non named die and the Banner is cut using a La La Land Die.  To finish I popped on a Satin Bow and Pearl Gems
