Dad's Wreath

Hi Everyone

I am back again with my latest creation.  I made a card a few posts ago which was either for my Dad or my Father-in-Law to go up on the Cemetery at ChristmasThis is my second one and I think this one will go on my Dad's and the previous one will go on my Father In-Laws. The Image is from Delicious Doodles and is called Holly and Rosehip Wreath.  Its a beautiful image and I coloured it up using Promarkers.  The card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is A Forest Green Card and the Patterned paper is from Papermania Christmas Tidings Paper Pack.  I Stamped the Sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Inkpad and finished off by adding a Green Bow and Green Nail Head Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Oooh Saucy!!

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to make my Husband a Card which was a bit different from the normal images I colour for his cards!  I recently won a prize of two Kenny K Images so I decided to choose a couple of his Saucier Images.  I am using this one called Bow for my Hubby's Christmas Card!  Kenny K does a full naked version of this with just the Bow to cover her up.  I didn't go that far!  I coloured the image using Promarkers.  The Card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Black Glitter Card.  Using a Hunkydory Clearly Stamp called Snowy Swirls I stamped the Flourishes with a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added a Naughty or Nice Ribbon from my stash and finished off with Green and Red Pearl Gems.
I really enjoyed colouring this image and making this card.  I apologise in advance if I have entered this into any challenge that doesn't allow these images.

Joyful Santa!

Hello Everyone!

Here I am again with my Youngest Son's Christmas Card.  The image is from Lacy Sunshine and is called Santa Spreading Joy.  He is one of the cutest Santa's I have found. I coloured him with Promarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to the Furry Bits and Trim!  The Card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Blue Glitter Card.  I have then used a layer of White Swiss Polka Dots Embossed Card and the Patterned Paper is from Helz Cuppleditch Santa's Workshop Paper Pack.  I can always find a great Paper for Kids from any of these packs!  I have added a Red Let it snow ribbon and also a Memory Box Frosty Border Die Cut topped with Blue Pearl Gems.  I Hand Stamped the Sentiment using Stamps from Stampingallday and a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad.  My Little One loves Father Christmas so am sure he will be pleased with this card.

Double Christmas Tilda!

Hi There!

Hope you are all ok.  It's been so cold here again today!  I would like to share this card with you.  I made this for a friend who is a huge Tilda fan.  I asked her to  let me know her favourite Tilda Christmas Stamp and she couldn't choose between these two so I decided to make her a card using them both!  I had to make it Pink because it's our favourite colour.  These stamps are called Sweet Christmas - Ice Tilda and Christmas Tilda with Cat.  Both such Cute Images and fun to colour.  As always I have coloured them with Promarkers.  My  Base/Frame Layer is a Pink Glitter Card and I have layered Helz Cuppleditch Background Paper from the Special Delivery Paper Pack onto it.  I have used several Dies to decorate this card.  They are Memory Box Frosty Wreath, Cheery Lynn, Holly Flourish and Robert Addams Poinsettia.  To finish I added Ribbon, a Satin Bow and Pink Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Toasty Elf!

Hi Everyone

I am back with a 2nd post for today.  This time is with an Image from The Paper Shelter called A Marshmallow for the Christmas Elf.  This was one of the first images I ever purchased from them and I have now finally got around to colouring it up and making it into a card.  Thought it was just perfect for my 7 year old Son.  I love working with Greens and Reds at Christmas Time.  (Amongst other colours!)  I have coloured this using Promarkers and added Diamond Sparkles to the Bobbles, cuffs and other trim .  The Card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Gold Mirror Card.  I have layered a Green Paper with Snowflakes on onto this and this is from the Helz Cuppleditch Santa's Workshop Paper Pack.  I have also used a Stripey Paper from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas Paper Pack.  I have used Memory Box Frosty Border Die and cut this in Gold Glitter Paper and I punched several Snowflakes also in Gold Glitter Paper using the X-Cut Snowflake Punch and placed them randomly!  The Sentiment is Hand Stamped with a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad and you can purchase it from Stampingallday

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

My Son was excited when I told him I had made his card.  Let's hope he is just as excited when he opens it lol!  Thank you for sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment, I really do appreciate them!  Thanks for visiting and hope you can come back soon!

New Release at Fitztown!

Hi Everyone.

It is with great excitement that I can tell you that we have a new release at Fitztown Store

I have used Image 0027 to show you one of the new fabulous Digi Stamps available.

I decided to go with a CAS Style Card so that Patterned Papers etc wouldn't take the focus off this Gorgeous Girl!  I am in a CAS kind of mood after doing this one so there may well be a few more CAS Cards appearing on my blog over the next couple of weeks.

I coloured the Image using Promarkers and used a Jelly Roll Clear Star Pen to add the Glittery Shine to her Skirt and Wings.  I used a Red Bazill Card for my Base/Frame Layer and then a White Swiss Dots embossed Card for the next layer.  I mounted the image onto some more Bazzil Red and then Hand Stamped a Crafters Companion Sentiment onto the Top Right Hand Corner of the Image.  To finish I added 3 Red Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Hope that you can see the Glitz on her skirt and wings in this close up

I had a fabulous time colouring up this New Release Image and adding some Glitz and Sparkle to her.  Thank you for visiting.  Please leave a me a comment to let me know what you think.  I love to hear from you!  Hope you can come back again soon.

White on White Ornament Christmas Tree

Hi There

As you may know from previous posts I love the effect of White on White so today I would like to share my latest White Creation with you. The main feature is a Die Cut from Cheery Lynn called Ornament Christmas Tree.  I have used a 7" Square Card Blank and layered White Embossed Swiss Dots card onto it.  I used a Darice Snowflake Embossing Folder for the next layer which I mounted onto plain white card to separate from the dots and then layered the tree onto another layer of Swiss Dots White Card.  (Hope that made sense!!)  I have also used Crafts Too Holly Border Die, Robert Addams Poinsettia die (I used a Papermania Punch for the centres which I punched in white Glitter Paper) and the Merry Christmas is also a Robert Addams Word Die.  I added a White Bow to the base of the tree and finished by adding Pearl Gems to some of the Snowflakes and also to decorate the Corners where the Tree is.

Tilda Does Bright!

Hello Everyone!

Hope this post finds you all Happy!  There are 3 of us that all have our 40th Birthday coming up in the next few weeks!  I asked this particular friend "What is your Favourite Colour?" Her reply "I love Bright Colours, Yellow, Red and Orange"  She has a very bright and bubbly personality so I should have guessed but I am not used to working with these sorts of colours and so the Challenge was set!  The Image is made up of 2 different stamps.  The Tilda in Evening Dress Image cried out to me as she is a Champagne and Glamour Kind of Girl.  Then I saw the Glasses that were on an A5 Clearly Stamp, stamped the "hugs, kisses & birthday wishes" sentiment and that was my "Little Picture" made up!  I used a Memento Tuxedo Inkpad to stamp the images and coloured them with Promarkers.  I decided to not over colour the glasses so left the hearts Black and White.  I did use a Clear Star Jelly Roll Pen over the Champagne Bubbles and used Diamond Sparkles Glitter on the Stars.  The Card Blank is 8" Square and I used Bazill Basics Orange as my Base/Frame Layer and the Yellow Pattern Paper is a 12 x 12 sheet from My Minds Eye.  I used Red Polka Dot Card from my stash and layered this onto a Bazill Basics Red card.  I added an Organza Orange and Yellow mixed colour Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The White Flourishes are a Tattered Lace Cherished Flourish Die and these are cut in White.  I added various Paper Flowers to these.  I Stamped the "Fabulous at 40" using Memento again and layered this onto the same Bazill Orange Card.  To finish I added Pearl Gems and Clear Flower Gems. Got to have a bit of Bling! I think that's everything!!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I really enjoyed creating this for my friend and I think it really suits her!!

Thank you for visiting and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment as I love to know what you think.  Hope you can stop by again soon.

All White Tilda!

Hello Everyone!

It's been pouring down here most of the day and it's still at it now!  No better time than to be indoors crafting!  As some of you may know Christmas Crafting is my favourite type,  I love White on White and I am a fan of Magnolia Tilda so what better combination than a White on White Christmas Tilda?  I would like to share this card with you that I have made ready to send to a Friend.  Tilda is her all time favourite so she should hopefully like this card when it lands on her doormat next Month!  The Stamped Image is called Tilda in Cosy Coat and she is from the New Waiting For Christmas Collection.  I coloured her using Promarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to the Snowflakes.  I cut the image out using the X-Cut Circle Die and layered her onto a Scalloped Circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Die.  The Card Blank is 6" Square and I have used White Swiss Dots Embossed card for the Bottom LayerI used a Darice Snowflake Embossing Folder for the next layer.  I added a White Grosgrain Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The Diecuts I have used are Memory Box Frosty Border.  I Hand Stamped the Sentiment using a Dovecraft Clear Stamp.  To Finish I added White Pearl Gems in two different sizes.  I hope you like this creation!

Blue Winter Wishes

Hi Everyone

Thank you for visiting.  Its been really cold here today although the sun has been out!  Today I would like to share with you a Christmas Card with a Darker Theme.  I wanted to do something a bit different and non traditional.  I think I managed this lol!  I have kept it quite Clean and Simple to my usual cards.  The Image is from Delicious Doodles and is called Holly Sugar Skull.  Here's what I have used.  Bazzil Basics Blue for by Base/Frame Layer.  I layered White Embossed Swiss Dots card onto this.  Then repeated this process but a bit smaller. The Flourish is a Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish which I cut in the same blue.  I Stamped the Winter Wishes sentiment which is from Spellbinders using a Versa Mark Blue Ink Pad.  To finish I added a Dark Blue Bow and 3 Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I hope you like my little bit of Dark Non Traditional.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I love to hear what you all say.  I actually might colour this one up again and make it traditional this time!  Thank you for visiting and hope to see you again soon

Art Deco Style Gone Green!!

Hi There

Hope this post finds you all well.  I would like to share this card that I have made for my friends Birthday.  I know most Art Deco Cards are usually Black and White or Black and Red but her favourite colour is Green so I have stepped away a tad from the Norm!  I have always loved the Art Deco Images you can buy as ready made toppers but find a lack of Digi Stamps for this era!!  This one is from Art By Miran and is called Brittany 1920's Flapper.  (She does a couple of different ones)  I have coloured her using Promarkers.  To make the Art Deco Fan shape I drew three triangles onto Green Glitter Card starting with one that fit in an 8" square and then made the next two an inch thinner  I then repeated this process onto the Green Polka Dot Card but made them 10mm smaller to allow for layering and then put them all on top of each other and cut the bottom off! I then cut another triangle and put this the other way up to look like the bit that you hold onto!  I mounted the whole thing onto a 4" Card Blank but as suspected it could not hold the weight and fell over hence the card stand lol!  It is my understanding that Art Deco Cards are usually quite plain so I added a Bow, some Square Green Gems and a Green Marabou Feather.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is Hand Stamped and mounted onto the Green Glitter Card!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I would just like to say WELCOME!! to my new Followers, its lovely to have you here.

Hi There

Today I would like to share this Card I have made for our Eldest son's 7th Birthday.  Cannot believe how fast the time goes!  This image is a Rubber Stamp from LOTV and is called Super Striker.  Our son is football mad and I have coloured the image in his team colours using Promarkers.  I used a Black Glitter Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  The Football Background Card is from Buzzcraft and I also used a Black and White Gingham Card.  The Yellow Star die cuts that I have used are Memory Box Precious Stars which I linked together and added "SON" peel offs to.  The Happy Birthday is Robert Addams Word Die and I cut an extra Yellow Star and added a Number 7 Peel off.  To finish I added Black Pearl Gems.

Thinking of You!

Hi There

Hope you are all ok.  I would like to share with you the first card I have made using a Fitztown Image.  She is called Fae19 Leisure Fairy.  She looks like she is deeply lost in thought to me hence the Thinking of You Sentiment.
I coloured her using Promarkers and added a Sparkle to her dress top, glove top and her wings using a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.  (Picture does not reflect just how Sparkly she is!)  I made a 6" Easel Card.  I seem to have developed a liking for Easel Cards at the moment!  I have used a Cerise Pink Glitter Card as my Base/Frame Layer and Both of the Decorative Papers are from Wild Rose Studios Always and Forever Paper Pack.  I have used several Dies when making this card.  They are the Wild Rose Studio Corner Flourish, a Marriane Creatables Flourish and also a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish. I used Paper Flowers to Decorate along the Side of the Image and also the Bottom.  The Stopper (if that is the correct terminology) is 3 Pink Pearl Gems.  I used Pink Pearl Gems for the Flower Centres too.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I am sure you will agree the lady in this image is very Pretty!  Fitztown has some lovely designs so I am hoping to purchase some more soon and be able to share them with you.  Thank you for visiting my blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope you can come back again soon.
