CAS Bee

Hi Everyone

So I am trying to perfect a "True" CAS card. I cannot believe how hard CAS really is lol!  You look at a CAS card and think there is actually not much to it but there so is!!!

This card is a 5" x 7" and I have used the adorable Bee Happy digital stamp from Craftin Desert Divas which I have coloured using Copics.  I used a rubber stamp to stamp the honeycomb border and coloured this with Copics too.

The sentiment is a rubber stamp from Inkylicious.  My Stamping as always was done using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.

Do you struggle with CAS like me?  I will keep trying lol!

Gingerbread Cuteness

Hi Everyone

It is Tuesday again and that means it is my turn to share some inspiration with you for Digi Doodle Studios 

 I couldn't choose a favourite gingerbread character so I decided to combine three of them into this box card. 

The digi stamps are called Ginger Spice Cupcake, Jack's Ginger Cookie Baker and Jack's Ginger Cupcake  I have coloured them all using Copics.

The patterned paper is from Helz Cuppleditch. I used a die cut Tree and decorated it with Gold beads, clear gems and a Star.  The "Christmas" word die cut is a Cheery Lynn Die.  I finished by adding some Gold Snowflakes.

Green Birthday Wishes!

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 

I have made a very "Green" Gift Bag using the newly released Swinging Ella which I have coloured using Copics

The patterned paper is from LOTV.  I cut the Balloons from Green Glitter Card.  The tag I also cut using a tag die and then added a Silver Peel Off to the front saying "Birthday Wishes"  I attached this using a white glittery thread.  I added some Paper Straws and Paper Flowers and finished with some Green Pearl Gems.  The Happy Birthday I typed on the laptop before printing the image.

Footballer Andy

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 

This card is made using one of the latest releases in the shop called Football Andy 2 
The digi actually comes with Andy kneeing a ball in the air but I cropped the ball and enlarged it and used it as the background!

I cut the circles using GoKreate circle dies and fussy cut the image.  The sentiment I typed on the laptop before I printed the image.

Rainbow Hearts

Hi Everyone

I have a CAS card to share with you today.

I really want to make more "true" CAS cards but they are something I find quite difficult lol!  

This card is a 7" x 5"

I bought a new die recently from Memory Box called Bright Hearts and I decided to try it out.  Well these are some of the bits that are left over when you cut it out!

I coloured the hearts using Copics and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to some of them.  The sentiment I stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad and the stamps are from Stampingallday.

Spring Bees

Hi Everyone

I would like to share with you a card that I have made using the cute Bee Happy Image from Craftin Desert Divas

I have coloured them up using Copics and a white gel pen then fussy cut them with scissors.  I created a background to go behind the die cut flowers using memento dew drop inks and a cloud die which i inked onto a circle cut using a X-Cut Circle Die.

The card design was inspired by Pam Schumacher as she made one for a DT card and I really loved it so I dropped her a note and asked if she would mind if I used a layout similar to hers. She said she didn't mind at all so Thank you Pam!  Here is a link to her blog A Pretty Pink Peony  

I cut the shape out using a Spellbinders Decorative Circle Die and the cute bee paper is a digi paper from ColoriveStudio who have a shop on Etsy which I cut using a GoKreate Circle Die.  The flower scene is a Memory Box die called Wildflower Circle.  I cut this three times and then snipped out the flowers on two of them and layered them onto the bottom one (that still had the flowers) to give extra depth.

The sentiment I typed on the computer before printing the images and I coloured over it with a yellow Copic Pen.  I finished by adding some yellow pearl gems

I seem to be creating lots of things using circles at the moment.  Another crafty phase I seem to be going through lol!

For my DT card I have made a birthday card using this gorgeous image which I was lucky enough to have won recently from Conie Fong Art  She is called Precious and I have coloured her with Copics and a clear star gelly roll pen.

Fishing Fun

I created the cloudy sky using Memento Dew Drop Ink Pads and the sentiment I hand stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  Think I covered the Use Ink theme there lol!

The card is a 6" square and the patterned paper is from my stash.  I cut the squiggly border using a stitched border die.

Little Heart for a Baby Girl

I decided to make a baby girl card.  I have a friend who is pregnant. She isn't far enough along to find out what she is having yet but thought would make this up incase its a girl!

The card is a 6" square and the patterned paper is from my stash.  I cut the image using a GoKreate Circly Die and layered this onto a scallped circle which I cut using a Spellbinders die.  The Baby Girl sentiment is a silver peel off and I finished by adding heart pearl gems

Is it a Boy or Girl?

Today sees the start of the new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations

We are playing just for fun this month as we do not have a sponsor but we are still picking a Winner and Top 3 so you can still win badges for your blogs

For my DT card I have made my friend a congratulations card as she is pregnant.  Its taken a long time and she is so thrilled.  She isn't far enough along yet to tell whether its a Boy or Girl so I put on both Blue and Pink baby bits!

The card is a 7" Scalloped Square and the patterned paper is from my stash.  The Image is called Yummy Mummy Emma and is from Pink Gem Designs

I have coloured her using Copics

The sentiment I typed on the laptop at the time of printing the image. I used a Marriane Craftables die to cut the flowers and the baby vests and hangers are die cuts from a friend who has a shop on Ebay.  I finished by adding pearl gems to the centre of the flowers.

Two Cuties

 For my DT project I have used this cute image from Digi Doodle Studios called Gracie & Nibbles and I have coloured them up using Copics and added some Pink Diamond Sparkles Glitter

The card is a 6" Square and I layered pink and white card from my stash to mount the image on.  The "Hello" is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  To finish I added Pearl Heart Gems

Pink, Sparkle and Pearls Recipe

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge at Pearly Sparkles Challenge 

This month is a very special challenge as it is dedicated to the lovely lady who started the blog who sadly passed away in February this year. She also owned Dragonfly Dreams and Crafty Animals too. Traci was my friend for several years and we had a long online friendship and I miss being able to chat to her everyday like we did for so long.  

Traci's three favourite crafty things were Pink, Sparkle & Pearls so this month that is our theme.  You need to show at least one of these things on your project.  I hope that you can come on over and play along with us.

For my DT card I have used this image called Valentines Girl which was a freebie in Kit and Clowder in February.  I cannot find the image in the Julia Spiri Store so think it might have been an exclusive but you can see all the lovely Julia Spiri Images HERE in the Etsy Store.

I coloured the image with Copics and used Die-Namics Scalloped Stitch Border Dies to cut the shape.  I added Diamond Sparkles Pink Glitter to some of the balloons and used a white gel pen to add spots to some of the others.  I popped on two satin pink bows and finished with Pink Pearl Hearts.
