Slinky Valentine!

Hi Everyone

I am here to share a Valentine card that I have made using an image called Queen of Hearts which I have coloured using ProMarkers and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.

I spotted this image a while ago and just had to colour it up twice lol!!!  But spot the Difference!!!

The card blank is a 6" square and I have used Black and Red Layers of plain card for my layers.  I used a Joy Heart Border Die and used the little hears that popped out and added them at the bottom along with Red Clear Heart Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Lara goes Disney!!

Hi Everyone

I joined in with a Mini game that Andrea was playing in her SheepSki Facebook Group with regards to the image I have used for this card and I was lucky enough to be picked by Random Org as one of the winners.

I had to have this image as Andrea drew it from being inspired by Lara Croft's long braid (Tomb Raider) and the Disney Princesses having their hair braided by Butterflies.  Think it was Cinderella that this happened to!  Lara Croft is my husbands all time favourite movie Girl lol!!

I coloured this image which is called Butterfly Hair using Copics and ProMarkers.  The Daisy Patterned Paper is from a Dovecraft Garden Paper Pack and the spotty paper is from LOTV.  I added a Doily and die cut some Butterflies using a Memory Box Die.  I finished by popping on some Pearl Gems.

Wedding Flowers

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.

The theme for the next fortnight is Must Use Flowers.  Please come on over and join in with us.

We have two fabulous sponsors for this challenge so that means there are chances to win some great prizes!

I chose to work with an image from All Dressed Up Stamps.  This image is called To Have & To Hold and I have coloured it using ProMarkers.

I made this for a friend of mine who is getting married later on in the year and her chosen colours are Purple and Ivory.  I decided to make something with a slightly different shape.  I cut the Heart shapes using my Sizzix Dies.  The Patterned Paper is from Wild Rose Studio.  I added some Paper Flowers, Purple Satin Bows and a flower gem to finish.

Pink Snow White!!

Hi Everyone

I have some colouring to share with you today.  I was told recently by a very honest person that my colouring could do with some tweaking!!  Anyway I took this on board and after printing the instructions from the Kit and Clowder free colouring class which was available in December I have been practising.  I can now honestly say that I am happier with my colouring than I ever have been before.

I saw this image by chance coloured up by the very talented Jackie Cornfield  I fell in love with the image and knew that I had to have a go at colouring her up.  A friend asked if I would colour her so that she could put her on her office noticeboard.  She wanted a pink one so here she is.

The image is called Lilly Snow White from MoonFlower Digi Stamps and I have coloured her using ProMarkers, Copics and Prisma Pencils.  I enjoyed every minute of colouring her up and I am planning on doing her again very soon.  I did purchase another one of these fabulous digi stamps so I have that one to do too!!!

I would like to enter this into the January Facebook Challenge - Anything Goes In the MoonFlower Digital Stamps Facebook Group

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this with me.  I do hope you like her!  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Tomb Raiding at 50!

Hi Everyone

I have a card to share with you that I have made for my Husband's 50th which is at the beginning of February.  As some of you will know he plays darts for our county but since the beginning of Tomb Raider he has been a big fan.  Has all the films and plays the video games!  So I went on the hunt for a Tomb Raider/Lara Croft Image.  There were several drawn by an artist through Deviant Art but they were no longer available to buy (although you could just copy them from Pintrest awful place which I was not prepared to do)  So I thought that SlinkyTart would likely have an image that was close and this is what I used.  She is called Peachy and she is as close as it gets to Lara lol!  I have coloured her with Promarkers, Prisma Pencils and Copics  (Yep a right mixture ha ha!!)

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and the Patterned Papers are from LOTV and Scrap and Craft.  The Sentiments are hand stamped and are both from Stampingallday.  I used a sizzix scalloped heart die and a plain heart die to cut and layer the Happy 50th.  To finish I added Aqua Heart Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this card with me today.  I really did have a lot of fun colouring this image and making her up.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

I never made nearly enough Christmas cards in 2016 so I am not making the same mistake this year.  I am getting onto them at every opportunity!

I have used one of my Favourite Conie Fong Images which is called Angel of Christmas Stars.  I have coloured this using ProMarkers and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.  The Card size is a 6" Square and the Patterned Paper is from Wild Rose Studio.  I typed the sentiment on the PC and printed it out.  I die cut the poinsettia's using a Robert Addams Die, popped on a satin bow and finished by adding 2 yellow gems for the flower centre and then THREE pink gems to decorate!
