MerMay is coming!

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 

I am getting into MerMay mode and here is my card today using Thoughtful Mermaid and items from the Mermaid Build a Scene Digi Set

 

I have coloured this using Copics and a clear star gel pen

 

I have started seeing some fabulous Mermaid projects filtering through in the last week or so and some great new digis being added to various stores.  I am so excited I cannot wait to see all the Mermaid and Underwater projects that May will bring!

The Missing Fairy

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

I am here with another challenge reminder for the Anything Goes/Stories Challenge that is happening now in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group  We would love for you to play along either with a card inspired by a story or make up your own story to go with your card.

For this card I am making up my own mini story (we shall see how that turns out lol!!)

I have used Lacey and Maisy which are two of the fairies from the Fairy Sleepover release and I have created them a set of mushroom beds using the mushrooms that come with Amanita

On today's card I have used Moonflower Lullaby which you can find in the Etsy Store

I wanted her to be the star of the card so I kept it Clean and Simple.  The sentiment is a clear stamp from Woodware

Highland Cow Alphabet

Hi Everyone

I love the alphabet sets that have been recently released at Amanda Jayne Designs 

A couple of weeks ago I used the Bunny Alphabet to make a card but today I am sharing a card I made using the Highland Cow Alphabet 

 

My Daughter has a party to go to for her Friends Birthday and she asked me to make her a personalised card so this digi set was just perfect

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 

My card today features Teddy Bear Pilot  You get two different images, he comes with or without the hat and goggles and he also comes pre coloured or un coloured

I have used the one with the hat and goggles and I coloured him using Copics

I created the background using a Cloud Die and Distress Inks

The Dragon Heart Legacy

Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

I am here with another challenge reminder for the Anything Goes/Stories Challenge that is happening now in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group

 

For this card I was totally inspired by the Dragon Heart Legacy Trilogy written by Nora Roberts.  I have read the first two and they are fabulous but the third one is not out until later in the year so I can't finish the whole story quite yet.

If you love Fantasy reads that include fairies and dragons then I can't recommend this book enough I loved it!

 

For my card I have used Spooky Full Moon  which I used two of because the story is set in a world with two moons.  I have also used the tops of the tree that you will find in the Fairytale Beauty Pageant: The Riverbed Scene Builder and then the dragon who is the star of the card is Swoozie

 

I have coloured this whole scene using Copics and a white gel pen

New Mermaid

Here is my latest DT project for  Conie Fong Art

 

 

There is a gorgeous new release arrived in the store and she goes by the name of Rosealea

 

I had so much fun playing with colours and oooh that hair it was fabulous to colour!

 

I have coloured this scene using Copics and added a bit of sparkle using a clear star gelly roll pen.  I used a Sweet November Clear Stamp to add the fish

Spring Gnome

For my DT card today I have used this cute little gnome called Spring Gnome

 

I coloured him using Copics and popped him on a little bit of green grass 

 

I just love him with his little frog in his hat!

Follow the Yellow Brick Road

I am here to tell you about the new theme for this month's challenge that is happening now in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group

 

I am so excited by this theme.  I LOVE books and reading especially Fantasy stories and a good old bit of crime!

 

This months theme is to either make projects based on your favourite stories or write your own mini story to go with your project.  I really hope that we get some people playing along that will write us some stories to read!

To kick this challenge off I have made a card inspired by The Wizard of Oz

Saffron and her Bunny Friend

Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

I am here with another challenge reminder for the Anything Goes/Fairies Challenge that is happening now in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group

 

This is my last reminder for this challenge as it will be ending in a few days and a new challenge will be starting (on 10th)

 

For this card I have used Spice Fairy Saffron and placed her with the new bunny from the Spring Elf Pals and Sentiment Pack  I then created this scene by following the woodland part of one of Adventures in Coloring wit Amy's Background Videos and you can find it HERE 

The video was actually an Autumn themed video so I swapped out the Autumnal floor colours for some bright grass instead.  

I coloured this whole scene using Copics, a White Gel Pen and added Wink of Stella to her Wings

The sentiment is a clear stamp which is also from Sweet November Stamps and you can find that in the store HERE
