Spring Gift Bag

Hi Everyone

This is my final inspirational post for this month!  Cannot believe we are nearly finished the first quarter of this year already

It is my turn to share a little inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios and today I am showing off this lovely spring image called Leilani which I have coloured with Copics and a clear star gelly roll pen.

For my project this time I made a gift bag.

The butterfly paper is an from Trimcraft and the diecut butterfly border is an unamed die.  I used a GoKreate Die to cut the label and attached it with some glittery lilac thread.  I popped on some paper flowers and paper straws and finished by adding a Satin Bow and Pearl Gems

Mummy Sheep

Hi Everyone

I have recently discovered Craftin Desert Divas Digis and I adore them so went on a little shopping spree

I made a Mother's Day card for my Mum using two of the stamps I bought and I have merged them together.  The tree is called Beautiful Day and the little sheep/lamb is called Lamb with Baby I created the sky using Memento Dew Drop Ink Pads and a Cloud Die, the grassy hill I created with Copics

Star Crazy Box Card

Hi Everyone

I have gone a bit box card crazy and made another one.  It is my Step Son's birthday next week and I couldn't find a card with Son and 30 on and I couldn't come up with an image that I was happy with for one either so I decided to use my die cuts and create this box card!

I used a navy base card and gingham and cut different size stitched edge stars out.  I cut the balloons out in a paler card and added a die cut number3 & 0 which are cut from a Robert Addams Die and the SON is alphabet peel offs.  The Happy Birthday words are also a Robert Addams Die and I cut a star banner too.  I added some little white 3 & 0 peel offs to the tiny stars aswell.

Tip Toe Through the Tulips

Hi Everyone

I am mega excited to share this card with you today.  This is the first time I have ever made a pop up box card and I really enjoyed making it.  There was a lot of colouring of the Tulips but I am so pleased with how this turned out 

The Images are from Craftin Desert Divas  I fell in love with this bunny when I found him in the store but needed something to go with him.  A CDD fan posted a project using these gorgeous Tulips into the FB fan group and I knew then that this little bunny need these so he could Tip Toe Through the Tulips and either Hide his Egg or Eat it lol!  The bunny is called Easter Bunny and the Tulips are called Just For You Tulips  I have never coloured up so many of the same image for one card or spent so much time making one card.  I kept changing the order and position of it all but settled on the bunny heading into the Tulips lol!
  
These two stamps are my new favourites.  I have printed them out several times more and plan to make more cards with these really soon.

I coloured all the images using Copics

This card folds flat to fit in an A5 envelope.  I decorated the panels with Plain red card and Red Gingham Card.  Gingham always reminds me of spring!  I added a bunch of coloured Tulips to the front and side flaps and also die cut a red bow using a Tattered Lace Die.  The Easter word is also a Tattered Lace Die.

Dalmation Spots

Hi Everyone

I have a birthday card which I made for a crafty friend to share with you today.

This image is called Daisy and Darby Dalmation and is from Digi Doodle Studios 

The card is a 6" square and the patterned papers are from Trimcraft.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from stampingallday  To finish I added a red polkadot bow with button and black pearl gems.

Happy Birthday with Mia

Hi Everyone

It is my turn to share some inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios 

For my project this time I have used this gorgeous image called Mia which I have coloured using Copics

There are so many cute images by Dina at Digi Doodle Studios and you can find them all by visiting the store HERE 


The Card is a 6" Square and I have gone CAS for this one and just layered the image onto a layers of Plain Blue and Blue Glitter Card.  I hand stamped the sentiment which is from Stampingallday.

Pink Bella

Hi Everyone

I am here today to share the card I made for my Mum's Birthday this month.

The Image is from Conie Fong Art and is called Bella Bouquet and I have coloured her up using Copics and a White Gelly Roll Pen

The card is a 7" Square and the patterned heart paper is from LOTV.  I went for quite a few layers on this card.  The sentiment is hand stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad.  I added some Paper Flowers and finished off with some clear heart gems.

Big HUGS Across the Miles

Hi Everyone

I have been waiting to share this card with you until it was received. Unfortunately it never reached its destination which is most annoying.

This card was made for Grace (My son was a year above her at school)  She suffers with Retts Syndrome and was very ill with pneumonia at Christmas.  She made a great recovery!  Another one of the Mum's thought it would be nice if we sent her a card so I made this and she posted it off to USA where they now live but I am assuming it got lost in with all the Christmas Post.

Grace's Parents have a FB page for Grace to help raise awareness about her condition and there are some beautiful photos of Grace and tales of her Journey and her Mum also has a fabulous blog.

 This is one of my favourite images ever and she was just perfect for this card.  The Image is called Lena's Teddy Bear and is from Digi Doodle Studios  I coloured her with Copics

The sentiment was typed on the laptop before printing.

It is such a shame that this card never reached Grace but we will be sending her a photo lol!

Spring Greens

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage 

 
The theme for this month is Spring Fever and we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps

 For my DT card I chose to use 5 Flowers and I coloured them up with Copics

I double layered light green gingham.  I always think of green and gingham when I think spring!  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from stampingallday.  To finish I added a satin bow.

Spring Blossom

Green Belt Senior

Hi Everyone

All three of our children do Martial Arts and just recently graded to a Green Belt.  That means they are halfway to a Black Belt!  The next belt is a Green Belt Senior which is Green with a Black Stripe so that is how I coloured up this image called Bobby Martial Arts from Digi Doodle Studios  Although this image is a Karate Image (as they do not wear head bands in the Martial Arts that our kids do I just loved it and my Son will love it too when his older brother and sister give it to him on his 7th Birthday in April.

The card is 7" x 5" and kept it really CAS and just stamped the sentiment onto it.

Angelic Boo

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams 


The theme for this month is For A Special Female and we are being sponsored by Colour of Love (formerly Lacy Sunshine)  I hope that you can come on over and play along with us this month

The DT were kindly given a choice of images and I chose to work with this one called Angelic Boo which I have coloured with Copics, a White Gelly Roll Pen and added some Diamond Sparkles Glitter too

.
For my DT card I made a card for my Friends Daughter.  I am trying to make more Christmas Cards this year as I ran out last year!

The Card is a 7" X 5" and I have kept this CAS.  The Sentiment and the Holly Leaves are stamps from Stampingallday and I have stamped them up using a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad.

Flowers for Mum

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at CCC Digi Creations 


The theme for this month is For The Girls and we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter



The Image I chose to work with is called The Florist and I have coloured her with Copics,  I made a birthday card for my Mother In Law who has her birthday at the end of this month.

The Card is a 7" Square and I cut the image using a border die and added some lace to the edge.  The patterned paper is from my stash.  The sentiment is hand stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad.  I finished by adding a lilac bow and lilac pearl gems.

Little Mouse Band

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Animals

As always the theme is Anything Goes as long as there is an animal somewhere on your project.

Usually for my DT card I make the animal the focal point of my project but this time its a little mouse band

I made this card for my friends birthday.  She plays the Saxophone and when I stumbled upon this image called A Very Special Band from The Paper Shelter I knew that it was perfect.  I coloured the image using Copics.

I used a Gold Mirror card which I layered onto Black Shimmer card. I used a music note die and added this and finished by adding Gold Mirror Nail Heads
