Piggin Special

Hi Everyone

Here is my last card this month as DT for Conie Fong Art & Design Facebook Group  I have already started on next months though lol!

For this card I used one of the pigs from Curly Piglet Bundle  These piggies are so cute.

I coloured him using Copics and then fussy cut him.  I used distress ink to make a pink "puff" and used a heart stamp that was free in a magazine and stamped three around him.  The sentiment I typed on the laptop before printing the image.

Challenge reminder with the Koalas

Hi Everyone

It's time for a bit of inspiration from me from the Digi Doodle Store

along with a shout out about this months challenge over on the blog.

I have a card to share with you today using the Koala-ified Pairables  and I have coloured the images using Copics

Our Challenge theme over on the Blog this month is Anything Goes

For my Challenge reminder card I have made an Accordian card.  I followed a Tutorial which you can find HERE

The papers I used are from the In The Jungle Paper Pack  I used X-Cut nesting frame dies to create the apertures and the leaves I cut using a Sue Wilson Die  The sentiment is included in the Pairables set.

Snowmen Tall Card

Hi Everyone

Today I am sharing with you a tall card I have made using Winter Snowmen Pairables Set from Digi Doodle Studios 

I have also used some of the trees from the Holiday Mice Pairables Set These sets are great because you can mix and match them to create your scenes

All the Images are coloured using Copics and I have added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to some of them too.

 

I used a red polka dot card layered onto dark red card for my base layers and then used Wavy Border Dies to create the snowy mounds.  I fussy cut the images and then arranged them in their little scenes.

Sophia Sings

Hi Everyone

The new release showcase is complete and the new image are all now available in the Digi Doodle Studios Store  

Dina artist at DDS threw in an extra one and so here she is.  This so reminded me of the scene in Shrek when Princess Fiona is singing to the bird and the bird explodes.  This one obviously will have a happier ending lol! 

She is called Sophia Sings and I have coloured her using Copics and a white gelly roll pen.  I created the background with Memento Inks and a cloud die and the grassy bits are done with Copics

I kept this card fairly embellishment free as I really wanted this image to be the focal point. I cut the image out using an MFT stitched in and out die.

Starry Story Time

We are still showcasing the new releases that will be available in the store on Friday over at Digi Doodle Studios 

 Here is my second card using the Beary Bedtime Bears Pairables Set  and also there are new papers to go with these gorgeous bears and for this card I have used one that you will find in the Storytime Paper Pack

I have coloured the images with Copics and fussy cut them out.  I used an MFT stitched in an out square die to create the windows and placed the bears and moon around in it

Sleepy Bears

Hi Everyone

It's my favourite week of the month!  It's the showcase week for the new releases that will be in the Digi Doodle Studios Store on Friday

There are four fabulous new digi stamps all around a musical theme and two new pairables sets.  Bedtime Bears and Unicorns.  It doesn't get any better than these lol!

I am showcasing the Beary Bedtime Bears Pairables (The link won't work until they are in the store on Friday) This is my first project for this showcase and I have gone CAS style.  I am back on Wednesday with another project using this set and also you can have a sneak of one of the papers that will also be available to go with these sleepy bears

Otterly Favourite Teacher

Hi Everyone

I am here to share with you a little inspirations for Digi Doodle Studios 

My youngest son (8 years old) asked me to make something for his teacher that he could give her so I made her a Lollipop Card using elements from the Otterly Love Pairables

I coloured the images using Copics and then used GoKreate Circle dies to cut and layer.  The sentiment comes in the digi set and I punched it using a circle punch and layered it onto a scalloped circle which I cut using a spellbinders die.  I edged it with a string pearl drop border, added satin blue bows and blue heart gems.  Its all put together with the straw inside and my son wrote a message on another circle which I added to the back.

Eileen's Brolly

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage 

It's our special challenge which we dedicate each year to Eileen who was the original owner of the challenge but sadly passed away 4 years ago after a battle with cancer.

The theme for this challenge is Anything Goes but the DT have added a lavender ribbon or bow in memory of Eileen 

We are being sponsored by Twinkle Lane Designs 

The DT were kindly given a choice of images and I chose to work with this one called Floral Umbrella and I have coloured this using Copics

The card is a 6" square and the patterned paper is a digi paper from Digi Doodle Studios and you can find it in the It's a Spring Thing Paper Pack HERE

Life and Lemons

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop 

This time I have used a pre coloured card kit.  I used the Topper and one of the sentiments but when you buy the kit you get inserts and little images too.

This one is the recently released When Life Gives You Lemons card kit and I have used a Black encapsulated Glitter card and a yellow plain card and a yellow polka dot card to create the layers.  I added quite a few layers to this card and finished by decorating with black pearl gems.

Purple Glitzy Baubles

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations 

 

The theme for this month is a special one for the DT at the challenge as it is in memory of Eileen who was the original owner of CCC Digi Creations and it's sister challenge Creative Craft Cottage.  Sadly four years ago Eileen lost her battle with cancer adn she is missed very much by the DT most of whom have stayed on the team.

The theme is Anything Goes with the option of Adding a Lavender Ribbon or Bow which the DT have all added for Eileen.  This is not an entry requirement though

For my DT card I have made a Christmas card using Bauble Dies from Memory Box.  I cut them in a Purple and a Glitter Card, added ribbon and Lavender Bows.  I used a Robert Addams Die to cut the Merry Christmas and then added purple pearl gems to finish
