New Challenge Blog!!!

Hi Everyone

I have some exciting news to share with you!

Eileen and I have decided to open up a new challenge blog!

It will be a blog dedicated to the Sexier/Darker/Goth type images as we feel they get less exposure as the cutesy images.

Cute Images will be allowed so you can enter using cute witches/vampires but definitely no cutesy bunnies allowed in this blog (unless they are vampire bunnies lol!)

This challenge goes live on 3rd May and is a Monthly Challenge and the theme is Anything Goes as long as its Dark/Sexy/Goth etc  (you get the idea!!)

We have a very talented team and some great sponsors so please come on over and follow the blog so that you don't miss out.

We look forward to you playing along with us.

2nd Colouring Page Release

Hi Everyone

Here it is!!!!  The 2nd Colouring Page has been released at Fabrika Fantasy.  It is called Around the Campfire and you can find it HERE.

I coloured this using ProMarkers.  This time there are more creatures and things to find hidden.  Again some of them you won't spot until you start colouring and then they jump out at you.

I added snow to the Fir Tree.  I like to see snow on these types of trees!

I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to add Glitter to her Cape

I hope you like the way I coloured this and my Quirkly Fir Tree!  Thank you for visiting me today and please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Bunting Project

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.

The theme for the next two weeks is Anything Goes.  We have some great sponsors for this challenge and it would be lovely if you could join in with us.

For my DT Inspiration Project I made some Bunting ready to hang in my Daughter's Bedroom once its decorated.  The Image is called Fairy Flower Scent and is from Lemon Shortbread.  I used two of these images, one for each end and coloured them using ProMarkers.  I also added Diamond Sparkles, Candy Floss and Apple Glitter to the wings and skirt.

I bought the Die Cut Bunting a couple of years ago when I visited the NEC with this project in mind and never got around to making it.  It's another thing ticked off my list now lol!

I used a X-Cut Triangle Die to cut the Pink Base Layer and the Patterned Paper/Image.  The Patterned Paper is from a LOTV Paper Pad.  I used a White Satin Ribbon with Pink Hearts on it and threaded it through.  I decorated the panels with a Satin Pink Bow each and added Paper Flowers and Gems.

I had a great time making this.  Sometimes I like to venture away from cards and do something a little different.

Thank you for sharing this with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Dark Lillies and Anything Goes

Hi Everyone

Its the start of a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges today.

The theme for the next two weeks is Anything Goes.  A nice easy one for you all to come and join in with.

For my DT Inspiration Card I used an image by Ching-Chou Kuik called Dark Lillies that I bought a couple of years ago but never got around to colouring.  Anyway I found it in my files and thought I would print it up and make something with it.  I coloured it using my ProMarkers.

The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and I have used Layers of Bazill Basics purple shades card for the Layers.  The Purple and the Spotty Paper are from Wild Rose Studio.  I added some Purple Marabou Feathers and a Lilac Satin Bow and to finish I popped on some Clear Flower Gems and Pearls.

Thank you for stopping by today and sharing this card with me.  Please come on over and join in with the challenge and have a look at what my Talented Teamies have created for your inspiration.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Pink Pegasus

Hi Everyone

Time for me to share with you one of the latest releases at Fabrika Fantasy.  This one is called Flying Pegasus and it is a beauty.  It was released at the same time as another one called Fairy-tale Unicorn.  Visit the store to see both of these and all the other fabulous images available.

For this card I tried something different.  I have had a set of Distressed Inks in my stash for ages now and I keep getting them out and putting them back.  I find them very scary lol!  Anyway I decided to have a go at creating a background for this Pegasus. Not really sure it worked but I quite like it lol!  The Image I coloured using ProMarkers and cut out with a Craft Knife.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and I used Pink and White Card to layer it up.  The Sentiment I stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Ink pad and is from Inkylicious.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Through The Purple Haze - Add Some Warm Colours
Fussy and Fancy Challenge - Things with Wings
Alphabet Challenge - A is for Anything Pink
Inspiration Destination - Anything Goes

Thank you for stopping by and sharing this card with me today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Unicorn Sparkles

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.

This is my second Inspirational Card for this challenge and the image is from one of our fabulous sponsors Lacy Sunshine.  The Image is called Rory's Magical Unicorn and I coloured it using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles to bits of the Image.

The theme over at the challenge blog for the next two weeks is Add Some Sparkle.  Pop on over and play along with us, we would love to see you sparkly creations.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layers are a Bazzill Basics Card.  The Patterned Paper is from Wild Rose Studio.  I cut a Circle using a Spellbinders Decorative Circle Die and then Cut the Image using a X-Cut Circle Die and layered this onto it.  I punched some Hearts from Pink Glitter Card using a X-Cut Punch and finished with a Satin Bow and tiny Sparkly Heart.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share the card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Sparkly Shoes!

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations

The theme for the next two weeks is Add Some Sparkle.  It would be great if you would come on over and join in with us.

We have some great sponsors.  One of them being one of my favourite digi companies Bugaboo Digi Stamps

I chose to work with this image called Heels - Big Bow.  I made a card for my Sister-In-Law's Birthday which is later in the year.  She is shoe mad and her favourite colour is green so this is perfect for her.   I coloured the image using ProMarkers and added a Diamond Sparkles Pale Green Glitter to the Bows on the Shoes.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Green Glitter Card.  The Stripy Paper is from a LOTV Paper Pad and the Spotty Paper is from Scrap and Craft.  Both Sentiments were stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and are from Stampingallday.  I added a Green Satin Flowery Ribbon and to finish popped on some Green Pearl Gems.

I really enjoyed making this card and this image I think is very versatile you could colour it up in any colour that suits and let's face it what woman doesn't like shoes!

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

With Love at Easter

Hi Everyone

There have been a couple of new releases at Farbika Fantasy's Store lately and here is one of them called Easter Bunny.  He is such a cutie with his big toothy grin!

I coloured him using Promarkers and added the dots to the egg using a White Gelly Roll Pen.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Red Shade.  The Red Polka Dot Card is from my Stash.  The sentiment I thought is a little bit of fun and is from Stampingallday.  That is all I used to create this little chap a new home, he looks happy enough!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Magical Wizard

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.

The theme for the next two weeks is Let's Get Sentimental.  So we would love you to join in with us but don't forget to add that sentiment!  We have three sponsors for this challenge so there are some great prizes on offer.  All you need to do is link up with us to be in with a chance of winning one.

I actually made two DT Inspiration Cards for this Challenge and this is my first one using Lil Wizard from Rick St Dennis.  My second one is in a separate post.

Something New at Fabrika Fantasy

Hi There!!

I am so excited to share with you the latest News at Farbika Fantasy.

They have designed and released this Adult Colouring Page. It's Called Forest Waterfall and you can find it in the store.  They are around A4 Size but I printed this one out in word and depending on the Margin Size you have set will depend on what size the image prints.  This means that you can make them smaller for card projects or larger for framing etc.  There is also a twist with this colouring page.  Hidden within the Picture are characters and animals so this adds to the fun.  I had a good look before I started colouring and also got my children to look and see what they could find, but it wasn't until I started colouring the image up that I found more lol.

I coloured this picture using ProMarkers and mounted it onto Black Card.  I plan on framing this and hanging it in my Craft Room once I get it sorted.

New Teamie!

Hi Everyone

I have some Exciting News.  My friend and Teamie has taken over the running of Dragonfly Dreams Challenge.  I am happy to announce that I am part of the very talented team.

The theme for this month is "Use a Die Cut"  Please come on over and join in with us.  There was a bit of a Mix Up with sponsors and Fabrika Fantasy stepped in to help so Thank You to them and here is my first DT card for this challenge using their newly released image called Mischevious Leprechaun

I coloured the image using ProMarkers.  The sentiment I typed up on my PC and added to the Image before printing it.  There isn't alot of call in the UK for Leprechauns/St Patrick's Day so I didn't have a suitable die to use (as the theme is use a Die Cut!)  So shock horror I had to buy a new one, yes I know nay excuse.  So my new purchase is Four Leaf Clover from BeBunni and I cut a few of these in Green Glitter Card.  To finish I added Pearl Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share my first card on this new DT.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.
