Ginger Spice Notes

Hi Everyone

It is my day to post over at the Digi Doodle Studios Inspiration Blog today.

For this weeks project I have used this cute image called Ginger Spice Birdhouse and I have coloured it using Copics

You can find this and all the other gorgeous images in the store Here

For my DT project this week I made a note book.  As I am the DT Coordinator and also will be overseeing the running of the new challenge blog which starts on January 1st I need a dedicated notebook so here it is!!

The note book is A5 and the patterned papers are from Helz Cuppledtich.  I cut the image using a Go Kreate Circle and layered this onto a circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die.  I added some trim  along with some pink satin bows.  I cut the letters usinga  Memory Box Die and the little bird house is from Tattered Lace.  I finished by adding pink pearl gems.

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this project with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon

Winter Penguin Birthday

It is the start of a new challenge today over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for this fortnight is Anything Goes.  Hope you can come on over and play along.

We are being sponsored for this challenge by Conie Fong Art

This is my second project for this challenge and this time I got to work with this image called  Snowy Christmas Presents which I have coloured using Copics.

A friend of mine has her Daughters Birthday which is a winter birthday and her Daughter is mad about Penguins so she asked if I could do this card for her to give to her.

I created the background for this image using Memento Dew Drop Ink Pads and Ice Blue Frantage.  Its a fine embossing powder and although you may not be able to see it in the pictures it creates a glittery shine that resembles snowflakes.  It was perfect for adding subtle glitz.

The Card is a 7" Square and the sentiment I typed before printing the image.  I layered different colour Glitter Card with White Card to create the base layers.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges
Crafty Animals - Anything Goes with Animals
Emerald City Crafts Challenge - Anything Goes
Conie Fong Facebook Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Creations Challenges - Anything Goes
Allsorts Challenge - Cold and Frosty Colours

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Black and White Ginger Spice

Hi Everyone

Less than a week to go until Christmas Day!

I am here to share with you my weekly project for Digi Doodle Studios Inspirational Blog

This week I went for a Black and White Christmas Card.  I love Black and White and always try to make at least one Black and White Christmas Card each year.

I always struggle to find black and white papers so they are usually CAS.  Not this year lol. Look at these fab papers.

The Image is called Ginger Spice Cupcake and I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  The papers are also from Digi Doodle Studios and are called Black and White Christmas

The Card is a 7" Square and I have layered Black and White Card to make the Base.  I added Lace to make a border down the side and used a Polka Dot Black Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The Snowflakes I cut using a Border die and popped on some grey pearl gems to decorate the centres.  I typed the sentiment before I printed the image and to finish I added Black and White Pearl Gems.
