Ribbon Dance Tilda is "All Pink!"

Hi There Everybody

Today I have a card to share with you, that I intend to send to a friend who is having a tough time of it at the moment.  I was halfway through making this (for no apparent reason than I love the image) when I got an email from her.  I am hoping this will go someway to cheering her up!  This is a Rubber Stamp from Magnolia Tilda and is called Ribbon Dance Tilda.  I coloured her using Promarkers and decided on a Pink Colour Scheme.  I used a Pink Bazzill Card for the Base/Frame Layer and mounted the Pink Rose Paper onto it.  This gorgeous Paper is from the Wild Rose Studio Always and Forever Paper Pack.  The Pink  Flourishes are from Tattered Lace and they are called Elegant Flourish.  I have used a Bunting Die Cut and added white Peel Off Letters to make the "Hello" sentiment.  (They just happened to fit perfectly in the hearts lol!)  I used a Bright Pink Grosgrain Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow and finished off by adding various Pink Flowers and Pearl Gems.  (Gotta have a bit of Bling!!!)

I hope you have enjoyed sharing this card with me.  I had a fun time making it!  Please feel free to leave me a comment as I would love to know what you think.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon.

Christmas Bookmark Card

Hello Everyone!

Oh my Goodness!!!! This project took me a lot longer than I anticipated.  I thought I would like to make my own Bookmark Card as that way you can give a Card and Gift all in one.  I spent so much time trying to decide on which dies to use and in what colour to cut them that in the end the whole thing took me 5 and a Half hours to make!!  I enjoyed every minute of it and am already planning what Stamp to use on the next one!  As they need to fit on the Bookmark, I am quite limited.  Oooh I feel a Craft Shopping Trip coming on for smaller stamps!

Before I start on the description I would just like to welcome my new followers.  I only worked out how to add the follow button on recently so its fabulous that I have you joining me.  Thank you!

Here we go then!  The Image is a Clear Stamp from Tiddly Inks and is called Wryn Goes Caroling.  I stamped and coloured her up twice in the same colours using Promarkers.  Once for the Card and Once on the Bookmark.  I have also added Red Glitter to the Berries on her hat.  The Base/Frame layer is Forest Green Card.  I made the Pocket using this and I layered Green Spotty Glitter Paper from the Helz Cuppleditch Special Delivery Paper Pack.  The Pink Snowflake Paper is also from this Paper Pack.  The Striped Paper and the Circle Snowflake Paper are both from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Christmas Paper Pack. (I have so many layers on this card I hope I don't miss some of the info for you!!)  I have used quite a few different Dies on this card too.  They are Memory Box Frosty Wreath (This is behind Wryn!), Memory Box Frosty Border (Which I cut in half!), Crafts Too Holly Border (Which I added Red Glitter to for the Berries) and Robert Addams Snowflake Die (I used 2 out of the 3!)  I used a Red Christmas Ribbon and Made a Flat Bow for the Bookmark Pocket.  I wanted it to look like a Present.  I Hand Stamped the "With love to you at Christmas" Sentiment and Layered this onto the Pink Snowflake Paper and then the Forest Green Card.  I finished off with Pearl Gems in various colours and sizes.  For the Bookmark I used a Crafters Companion Rubber Stamp for the "Story Time" words added a Red Bow (Which I lined up with the Red Ribbon on the pocket), attached a Red Tassel and although you cannot see it in the picture I drew over the Scroll Work using a Clear Star Jelly Roll Pen.  This makes the swirls really sparkly.  It's a shame the Camera doesn't show this.(If you zoom in on the Bookmark Picture you can kind of see it lol!)

My descriptions are not usually as long as this one but I used so many different bits and pieces that I didn't want to leave anything out.  When I read a blog I like to know exactly what has been used lol!  I hope that you enjoyed sharing this Bookmark Card with me.  I do intend to make some different ones (but with a different method of attaching the Bookmark, Ideas are already buzzing around!) as I do think they are a lovely keepsake!  Thank you for visiting, please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope you can come back again soon!

Die Cut Creation

Hi There!

I have something a bit different for you today.  Its a card without a coloured image (which I usually make)  This card is made using Memory Box Dies.  I have used Frosty Wreath, Leaping Deer and Precious Snowflake Dies.  I cut the Wreath and the Snowflakes in White Shimmer Card and the Deer in Lilac Pearl Card. The Base/Frame layer is also Lilac Pearl Card and I layered a Black Glitter Card onto this.  The Card Size is 6" Square.  To finish I added a Bow to the Deer and Purple Pearl Gems.  This was a quick and enjoyable card to make.

Little Miss Delish

Hello Everybody

Thank you for joining me today and sharing my latest creation.  This is a Birthday Card for a Friend and Fellow Crafter so I had to do something good with it.  I hope I achieved this!!  This Image is from the very talented Hannah Lynn and she is called Little Miss Delish or Rainbow Fairy Unicorn depending on which site you find her on.  She is one of the sweetest Fairies I have coloured along with her Unicorn and I absolutely loved bringing her to life.  The Card had to be very Pink as it's my Friends Favourite Colour but as she is known as Rainbow Fairy I wanted to make sure that I included lots of other colours as well.  I Coloured her using Promarkers and then cut her out using a X-Cut Circle Die.  The Scalloped Circle Frame behind her is a Marriane Creatables Die and I cut this out of Striped Paper from hte Pretty Pinks Paperstack.  The Heart Background Paper is from LOTV's Bonnets & Bowties Paper Pack and the Pink/White Stripe is an offcut I have been left with previously.  (I keep all my offcuts, they are great for strips/borders!) I have used Bazzil as my Base/Frame Layer and also a Pink Glitter Card.  I have used Three Tattered Lace Elegant Flourish Die Cuts and then added an arrangement of Paper Flowers to them.  I added an Organza Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I used a Large Happy Birthday Die Cut which has been cut in Rainbow Card, added a Pink and a Purple Large Flower Gem and finished with Pearl Gems in Various Colours which I used to make the centre of the Flowers.  This card turned out exactly as I wanted it to which is Bright and Colourful and although I used lots of different colours it is Mainly Pink!!

Rory's Lil Reindeer Pal

Hi Everyone

I have finally gotten round to making a CAS Card.  I have to say this is obviously an Easy Style of Card to make but I found it the Hardest!  The Reason being it's not allowed to have any embellishments on it and I found this particularly hard.  I love adding Gems, Flourishes etc to my cards and to me this one looks rather bare, but that's how its supposed to be.  The Image is a Lacy Sunshine Image and is called Rory's Lil Reindeer Pal.  I coloured this using Promarkers.   I used a 6" Square Card Blank and layered the image onto a Pink Glitter Card.  (Had to get a bit of Bling in somewhere lol!!)  I Stamped the Christmas Sentiment on and that was it.  Easy Peasy then I spent ages looking at it wondering what it would look like with all the Embellishments added to it! lol.

Present Time!

Hi Everyone

I hope you are well.  A bit colder here today, I would say Autumn is nearly upon us, so I have made a Christmas card lol!!!  I have used a Lacy Sunshine Image called Rory Christmas Presents Delivery and coloured her with Promarkers.  I have used Bazill Pomegranate as the Base/Frame Layer and the background paper is a busy one from the Helz Cuppleditch Special Delivery Paper Pack.  I love their glitzy papers!!!!  I have used Several Die Cuts on this card and they are Robert Addams Word Die and Santa and Reindeer.  I have also used a Marriane Creatables die to cut the two Flourishes in Green Glitter Card.  I have used yet another Robert Addams Die to cut the Poinsettias. This card is very sparkly but I am not sure you can see this from the photos.  I used a Red Christmas Snowflake Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow. To finish I added some Sparkle to Rory's hat with a Gelly Roll Clear Sparkle Pen and added some Yellow and Red Gems.

Scrapping4fun Challenges - GDT Spot - Buttons and Bows

A Huge Hello to Everyone!

I am so excited to be a Guest Designer at Scrapping4fun Challenges this fortnight, Thank you Rachelle.  It's my first GDT appearance and I am totally honoured!!  The Challenge theme is Buttons and Bows and I had great fun making a card to fit this theme. I am in a Autumny mood at the moment and am working with Green and Orange colours.  I used a Lacy Sunshine Image called Matilda Buttons Boo and coloured her using Promarkers.  The Base/Frame Layer is an Orange Bazzil and the Background Cards that I used are both from Hunkydory's Patchwork Forest Range.  The Orange Embossed Buttons Card is from the Button Mix Pack and the other is from the Buttons and Bows Selection.  Very fitting with the Theme!  I used an Orange Polka Dot Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I also used an Orange Polka Dot Satin Bow.  The flourishes are Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourishes and I added Yellow Paper Roses to these. I finished off with a Stamped "Thinking of You" Sentiment and some Green Polka Dot Buttons in the corner of the image.

I have scheduled this Post and I will be back later to link up to the Challenges below.

A Touch of Autumn!!!

Hello Everybody!

This is a rare occasion I know but I am back again to share a 2nd card with you.  This is a Lacy Sunshine Image and she is called Cider Sticky Wings.  I wanted to make an Autumn Card for a Friends October Birthday and she appeared courtesy of Heather at Lacy Sunshine at just the right moment!  I decided to make an Easel Card as it's been a while since I have done one and actually I have never made one that is square like this so it was a lovely change.  The Apple Background Paper is from the Docrafts Tilly Daydream Paper Pack and I thought it was a great one to use with the Image. I layered this onto a Red Bazzil Card for the Base/Frame Layer. I didn't want to add flowers to this image as when I think of Autumn I think Leaves so I used the Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish in 3 different Autumnal colours.  The apples were die cut using the Quickcutz Apple Die.  I had to hand make the leaves though as it doesn't have any! Without leaves I think it looks a bit like a tomato!!!  As Cider Sticky Wings is a Fairy I Hand Stamped a sentiment that was to do with magic and also it's very true of the person its intended for. To finish I added a small Red Bow.

Sassy Studio Santa Pin Up

Hello Everyone!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing my newest creation with me.  This time the Image I have used is from Sassy Studio Designs and she is called Santa Pin Up.  She is a Sassy Santa!!!!!  I have coloured her using Promarkers and went for a non-traditional colour scheme. I added some Purple Glitter for her earrings, bobble and fur trim boots. I hope you like it!  I decided to make a Stepper Card and the Background Paper is from Wild Rose Studio's Bella's Christmas Paper Pack.  This has been layered onto a Purple Bazzil Base/Frame Layer.  I used a Green Christmassy Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I have used Robert Addams Happy Christmas Word Die, Crafts Too Holly Border (Which I added red glitter too for the berries) and Memory Box Frosty Border.  X-Cut Punch to punch the Snowflakes and then finished off by adding several Purple and White Pearl Gems.
