Chloe on Swing in Reds

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at A Gem of A Challenge 


The theme for the next fortnight is Birthday Card.  I hope that you can come along and join in with us.

For my DT inspiration card I used Chloe on Swing and I have coloured her using Copics.  I coloured her a few weeks ago in Blues and as I had printed her out twice I thought I would try her in a different colour so here she is in Reds!

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and the flowery paper is from Scrap and Craft.  I added a Satin Ribbon and hand tied the bow.  I popped on some Paper Flowers, a Happy Birthday sentiment which I stamped and finished with Red Pearl Gems.

Gaming Fun

Hi Everyone

Today I am sharing a card with you that I was asked to make by my friend for her other children to give to their Brother for his Birthday next month.

Another Gaming fan so I used this image called Gaming Andy from Pink Gem Designs and I have coloured him using Copics

I think I will be using him again on my Son's card too.  I absolutely loved colouring him and his little friend up lol

The Card is a 7" Square and the Patterned Papers are from LOTV and Scrap and Craft. I do like double layering with the same paper so here is some more lol!   The sentiments I typed on the laptop before printing the image.

 I followed the current sketch over at Cheerful Sketches Challenges for this card.  I like layers and this one popped out at me.  As you can see I turned it 90 degrees.  This was to allow for my sentiments they wouldn't fit on with it in its current position.



This was a real fun card to make.

Sylvie Ballerina

Hi Everyone

Here is my card for today's post over on the Digi Doodle Studios Blog. Please come on over and follow the blog so that you don't miss out on seeing the wonderful creations the DT post each week. 

Tuesday is my regular posting spot and for this weeks card I have used this cute ballerina image called Sylvie Ballerina to make a Birthday Card for a Friend.  I fell in love with her smiley face.  All the characters over in the Store have such smiley faces lol!

My Inspiration Card is a 7" Scalloped Square and I have used Polka Dot Card which I bought from Limetree Crafts when I went to a craft show in June.  I coloured the image with Copics and cut her out using a Go Kreate Circle Die and layered her onto a Decorative Circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Die.  I added White Lace and a Pink Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The Hearts are a Memory Box Die called Precious Hearts and I cut these from White Glitter Card.  I added paper flowers and finished with various pearl gems.

Here is my Card using the Newly Released Image called Melanie Snow and I have coloured her using Copics and ProMarkers and decorated her with Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

 The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and I have used a Blue Card, a Blue Glitter Card and an Embossed Swiss Dots Card to create the layers.  The Let it Snow sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  The penguin paper is from Helz Cuppleditch.  I cut the snowflakes using a Robert Addams Die and finished off with Blue Pearl Gems.

For Big Brother

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge today over at Creative Craft Cottage 
 


The theme for the next fortnight is For the Men/Boys.

We have two great sponsors for this challenge one of which is Crafty Sentiments Designs and I chose to work with this cute image called Herbie the Bear which I coloured using Copics.  


For my DT project I made a card for my Children's Big Brother.

The card blank is a 7" Square and the patterned paper is from Trimcraft,  I double layered it and I was so pleased that in the smaller layer the candy cane patterned lined up perfectly lol!  The image and layer is cut from a Go Kreate Die and the candy cane is a Sizzix Die.  The Happy Christmas words are cut using a Robert Addams Die and the Brother is a Cheery Lynn Die.  Lots of different dies on this one!!  I finished the card by adding Red Pearl Gems.

Ryans Colouring

Hi Everyone

All Dressed Up Challenges are having a mini challenge.  They have asked that young crafters colour up or colour up and make a card using one of their images and enter it for the chance to win.

I mentioned it to my three children and they all chose the images they wanted to colour.  However only one of them actually got around to colouring it lol.

Here is Ryans colouring of the image called First Prize and he coloured up using pencils.

Wine O'Clock!

Hi Everyone

Today I would like to share with you a card I have made for my Friends birthday later in the year.  As soon as I saw this image which was recently released at Faery Ink I just new that this would have to go on her card lol.  The image is called Time for Wine Layla and I have coloured her with Copics.

I decided to make an easel card as I haven't made on of them for a while.  The patterned paper is from Trimcraft and I die cut some Wine glasses one in red and two in a white Glitter card using a Joy Die.  I added a Green Polka Dot Ribbon and hand tied the bow.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I finished by adding some Green Pearl Flower Gems.

Cartwheeling Fun

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at A Gem of A Challenge

 

The theme for the next fortnight is Outside Fun.  I hope that you can come over and play along with us.  Check out what the talented DT have done for your inspiration too!

I was so excited to find that this Cartwheel Jodie stamp was in the Pink Gem Designs Store  I have been searching for ages for a Gymnastic type image for Chloe and also for her friends at the Gymnastics Club she attends.  I coloured this using Copics 

For my DT inspiration card I made Chloe's Birthday card.  As soon as I found the image I knew I just had to work with it straight away so although her birthday is not until December I am all prepared lol

The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and the Patterned Paper is from LOTV.  The sentiments I typed on the laptop before I printed the image.  I added some Lace Trim and cut the flowers using a Marianne Craftables Die.  I finished by adding Pearl Gems.



 

I had so much fun colouring this up as I do with all of the Pink Gem Images but this is definitely one of my favourites.

Fabrika Fantasy New Releases

It's that time of the month again when Fabrika Fantasy release five new images into the Store.

Here is my project using one of these fabulous New Releases. This one is called Sunflower Elf and I have coloured him using Copics and then fussy cut him.  The background I made with Brushos and I added the sentiment which is hand stamped from Stampingallday.

Three Little Gems

Hi Everyone

It's time for the start of a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations today.


The theme for the next fortnight is Three of a Kind.  I hope that you can come on over and play along with us.

We have some great sponsors for this challenge one of which is Delicious Doodles and I chose to colour up this gorgeous image called Jolly Holly Postbox.  I coloured this using Copics and ProMarkers


 I was sat outside the gym where my Daughter does her Gymnastics colouring this image when the Gym Coach decided that it would be perfect as a Christmas Card for one of her friends so that's where this one is headed lol!  The Card Blank is a 7" Square Card and the Patterned Paper is from Trimcraft.  I added a Green Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The sentiment I typed on the computer before printing off the image.  To finish I added Three Clear Green Gems.

Monochrome with a Twist of Gems/Pearls

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Monochrome Magic

For my DT inspiration project I created a cover for a blank notepad using this image called Ballet - Star Dancer from AuroraWings and I have coloured her using Copics.   I wrapped the notebook in Yellow Bazzill to make the cover.  The Patterned Paper is from Scrap and Craft.  I added a Scalloped border and a Yellow Ribbon and hand tied the Bow.  I finished by adding yellow Flower Gems.

F for Flowers

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges 


The theme for this month is Something Beginning with "F"

My "F's" are Fairy Swing, Flowers 

For my DT project I used an image from All Dressed Up called Fairy Swing
and I have made a bookmark.  I  coloured her using Copics  I cut the flowers using a Marianne Craftables Die and added Heart Gems to the Centres.  I finished by adding the Tassel.

Relax Time

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge today over at Unicorn Challenge 



It is a very special challenge this time as Unicorn Challenge is celebrating it's 2nd Birthday!  Wow! How time flies.

As it's our birthday we have two sponsors for this challenge.  Fabrika Fantasy and Di's Digi Designs and the theme is of course Birthday!

For my DT Inspiration card I used this image called Beer Bear from Di's Digi Designs and I have coloured it with Copics and added some blue using a memento dew drop inkpad to the sky area.

I decided to make a male Birthday Card for a change!

The Card Blank is a 6" Square and the Patterned Papers are from my Stash.  The sentiments are hand stamped and are from Stampingallday.   To finish I added some Brown Pearl Gems.  (Even on a Male card i do like to use my gems lol!)




 I really enjoyed colouring this little fella up!

Pink Stars

The Card blank is a 6" Square and I have layered up Pink and White Card under the Image.  I wanted to keep it fairly CAS style to show off the image so I just added a few Pink Star Gems and that was it.

KRAFT and Blues

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at A Gem of A Challenge 


The theme for the next fortnight is Use KRAFT.  Please come on over and play along with us.

For my DT card I used the gorgeous Chloe on Swing digi image which I have coloured using Copics.  You can find all the wonderful images, Toppers etc in the Store   

This is new for me as I have never used Kraft Card Before and to be honest was always dubious about using it.  I originally printed the image straight onto the KRAFT card but I struggled to get the copics to show up anywhere near their proper colours so I abandoned that idea and have used it for layering instead!  I used a Memento Dew Drop Ink Pad to distress around the image.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I finished by adding a Blue Satin Bow to the Top Left Corner.
