GD for Digital Delights!

Hi Everyone

I was so pleased to be asked to join the Digital Delights team as a Guest Designer for this challenge.  Thank you to Larelyn and the team for inviting me to join them.

The theme is Anything Goes and I was kindly given a choice of image to use from all the wonderful images in the store. I have this Christmas coloured up alot of Images from this company they are so so cute.  For this GD spot I chose Champagne Roxy and I coloured him up using ProMarkers. I distressed the edge using a Memento Dew Drop Ink pad.

I recently bought this Champagne Template from Dutch Doobadoo and I was desperate to try it out and this image was just perfect to use with it.  I cut the template from Silver Mirror card and layered this with Bazzill Basics Pomegranate shade.  I used a X-Cut Circle die to cut out the image and a spellbinders scalloped circle to layer it onto.  The sentiment was hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I added some Christmassy coloured berries and flowers and a red/white lace bow.  To finish I added Clear Diamond Gems and Pearl Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think and pop on over and join in with the challenge. Hope to see you again soon.

Fly Away Santa!

Hi Everyone

Back again with a second post tonight.  Another Digital Delights Image too lol.  This time it is for my Youngest Son and I have used this image called Flying Santa which I have coloured using ProMarkers and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

I loved the way that the card for Eldest Son came out so much using the sketch from Cheerful Sketches that I decided to use it again for this card but I kept it up its original way this time

The card blank is a 6" Square and the Patterned Papers are from a Dovecraft Paper Pack.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday and is hand stamped.  As before I haven't added much to the basic layout other than the Pearl Gems.

Naughty or Nice Hubby?

Hi Everyone

So I am desperately trying to catch up with my family cards.  I would like to share with you this one that I have made for my Husband.  The Image is called Naughty List from Slinky Tart and I have coloured her using ProMarkers.

As this is a male card I kept it CAS.  I have layered Brown and Red before mounting the image.  The Sentiment I put on using the PC before I printed out the image!  The other sentiment Naughty or Nice is from Stamping all day.  A Quick and Simple card.

Oh Christmas Tree!

Hi Everyone

Today I have made my eldest Son's Christmas Card.  I am not usually so late with my family cards but I have been so busy I haven't got around to some of them!!

I have used an image from Digital Delights called Magical Tree Santa and I have coloured this using ProMakers and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

I followed a sketch from Cheerful Sketches for this card.  It caught my eye.  You could keep this simple or embellish it up for the more fully loaded look.  I kept it pretty much straight to the sketch although I did turn it on its side.

The Card size is a 6"Square and the Patterned Paper is from a Hobbycraft Christmas Paper Pack.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I finished this card by adding some Pearl Gems.

Pink Spiral Tree

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a New Challenge over at Daisy Chain Challenges

The theme for this month is Happy Christmas.  We would love it if you would come and join in with us.

For my DT Card I decided to have a play with rubber stamps and inks!

I used an Inkylicious Spiral Tree Stamp which I stamped and then heat embossed with a Silver Embossing Powder.  I used a Spellbinders Christmas Stamp to create a background and stamped this up in Silver and Pink Inks.  I cut the image out using a Spellbinders Circle Die and then used Pink Ink to distress round the edge.  I stamped the sentiment and finished by adding some clear gems to the tree.

I don't often get the time to play with the stamping but I am hoping to get more of a chance in the New Year!!!  (Yes another New Years Resolution lol)
