Spring Flower Bear

Hi Everyone

There has been a release of new pairables into the store at Digi Doodle Studios They are 2 sets of Bears and a set of Bunnies and they are just adorable.  Since they have been released I have been playing with the Sweet Honey Bears set and this is my third project using them.  Addicted? No Not Much lol!!!!! 

I coloured this cute bear using Copics and the patterned paper is a digi paper also from the store and you can find it HERE in the It's a Spring Thing digi paper pack

I cut the image using a GoKreate Circle Die and layered it onto a Scalloped Circle which I cut using a Spellbinders die.  The flowers I created using a Marianne Craftables Die and added pearl flower gems to the centres.  I finished by adding a satin bow and some purple pearl gems

Anaya & Shanaya and a Challenge Reminder

Hi Everyone

It's time for a bit of inspiration from me from the Digi Doodle Store
along with a shout out about this months challenge over on the blog.


I have a Gift Bag to share with you

Our Challenge theme over on the Blog this month is Ribbon and/or Lace and I used the gorgeous Anaya & Shanaya which I have coloured using Copics
 
You have until 28th  to enter this challenge which means there is only one week left!

You do not have to use a DDS Image to enter the challenge but the prize is greater if you do!

For my Gift Bag I used a Green, Pink and Brown colour combo.  The dotty paper is from my stash and I used a La La Land die to cut the banner.  I added Green Lace and a strip of ribbon and popped on some buttons.  To finish I added Pink Satin Bows

Spring Honey Bee Bear

Hi Everyone

Digi Doodle Studios Facebook Group  just hosted a card swap.  We did one back in December which was fun for Christmas so we decided to do one for Easter/Spring.  Although there aren't as many people joining in this time there will still be some fabulous projects being swapped! 

I joined in and have made this card for my Partner.

I have used the newly released  Sweet Honey Bears Pairables together with the newly released Honey Bear Sweet Pattern digi paper pack and created this spring themed card.

I coloured the images using Copics

I used a Spellbinders Flower Die to create the shape and for the centre if the flower I used a Memory Box Wildflower Circle die and created the background using Memento Inks and a Cloud Die.  The banner is a Marriane Craftables die and I cut some leaves and added some paper flowers.  I used white alphabet peel offs for the SPRNG word and coloured this with Copics

Honey Bears

Hi Everyone

There are two new pairables sets  that have sprung into the STORE today.

They are spring themed Teddy Bears and they are the most adorable digis ever!

I made this card using the Sweet Honey Bears


I used the beehive, the bear holding the honey pot, one of the bees (3 times) and one of the sentiments. I fussy cut them all.

I used black shimmer card as my base layer and the patterned papers are both from the new digi paper pack called Bumble Buzz and you can find this HERE in the store

I used Robert Addams word and number dies.  My youngest Son is a little softy and he loves bears and all things cute so am sure that he will love this card when his birthday arrives at the end of April.

Snow White Tag

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at StarStampz Challenge



The theme this month is a Bingo Board



I hope that you can come on over and join in with us this month 

I made a gift tag using the image called Snow White Chibi and I have coloured her using Copics

My project actually fits two of the bingo lines
Ribbon/Lace, Digi, Yellow
and
Diecut, Yellow, Flowerx

I created the tag using a GoKreate Die.  I added yellow feathers and paper floers. I popped some pearl gems into the centre.  I finished by adding two pearl hearts

Rainbows and a Fairy!

Hi Everyone

It is the start of this months challenge over at The Fairy and the Unicorn 


As always the theme is Anything Goes as long as it is a Fantasy Themed project

I hope that you can come on over and share your projects with us

For my DT project I created this 6" x 4" card using this sweet fairy from Digi Doodle Studios called Sorrel Merry Thistle Fairy  The rainbows are also from Digi Doodle Studios and you can find them in the Rainbows 'n' Skies Pairables set

I Coloured all the images using Copics and added apple green diamond sparkles glitter to the fairy's wings

I used a cloud die to create the scene and popped the fairy onto one of the rainbows

Flowers with Dahlia

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage

 
The theme for this month is For The Girls and we are being sponsored by Digi Doodle Studios 

 
The DT were kindly given a choice of images and I chose to work with this one called Dahlia's Blooms and I have coloured her using Copics 

The card is a 7X5 inch and the patterned paper is from LOTV.  I used a Gina Marie die for the frame and the sentiment is hand stamped and is from Inkylicious.

I added some paper flowers and a satin bow to finish.

Easter Bunnies

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at CCC Digi Creations 



The theme for this month is Embossing (Of Any Kind) and we are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter 



The team were given an image to use and it is called Little Easter Bunnies  In the set comes an uncoloured and pre-coloured digi.  I don't usually use the pre-coloured images but I did this time! 

I used a Silver Mirror card as the base layer and embossed some pink card using a Nellies A4 Daisy embossing folder. I cut the aperture out using a X-Cut Frame Die.  I popped on some paper flowers and a satin bow. The sentiment is hand stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad and the stamp is from Stampingallday

Spring Puppy

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 


The theme for this month is Flower Power and I would love to see your pretty projects.  Hope you can come on over and join in with us 

I used a Rubber Stamp (Yes I know very unusual for me!!!) from Your Next Stamp for this card and coloured this cute image using Copics 

The Patterned Paper is from my Stash and I went all pastel shades for this card.

I added some die cut leaves and paper flowers and finished by adding pearl gems to the centres.

Mary Had a Little Lamb

Hi Everyone

If you are anything like me you love all things Nursery Rhyme or Fairy Tale design.

Well StarStampz are releasing some new images and this one is called Mary had a Little Lamb and I used it make a Mother's Day Card for my Mother-in-Law.  This image will be available in the store soon.

I have coloured the sweet image using Copics and made a circle easel card. I used blue gingham card as this always reminds me of spring and I think spring when I see this image with the spring lamb lol!  I can hope can't I?  Fed up with the continuous rain we are having.

I added some paper flowers and satin bows and added pearl gems to the centres of the flowers.

Princess Hanger

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams 

The theme for this month is Make It Feminine and we are being sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls Digi Stamps 


 The DT were kindly given a choice of images and I chose to work with this one called Ice Princess and I coloured it with Copics and a Cleaer Star Gelly Roll Pen over the dress so that it sparkles (Photo doesn't show this very well)

I made a wall hanger.  I used a MDF wooden ring and double wrapped it with blue ribbon I made a loop to hang it up with.  The snowflakes are punched and I added blue pearl gems to the centres.

Spring Chloe Birthday Card

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Pearly Sparkles Challenge 



The theme for this month is For the Ladies/Girls.  I hope that you can come on over and share your feminine creations with us this month 

For my DT card I used this lovely image called Spring Chloe from Pink Gem Designs which I have coloured using Copics.  I made a birthday card for my Mum whose birthday is Today! 

I used my new favourite die which is from Studiolight Essentials and layered this with emerald colour card and pattern paper from my stash.  I coloured alphabet peel offs with Copics so they match the emerald colour and popped on a ribbon and made a flat bow

The flowery heart die I think is a Cheery Lynn die but I don't have the packaging anymore so not quite sure.  I finished by adding clear gems.

Christmas Ellie

Hi Everyone

Can you believe we are in the third month of the year already!

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Animals 



The theme as always is Anything Goes as long as you include an animal on your project.  Hope you can come on over and play along with us this month

For my DT card I have used this image called Ellie's Holiday Helper from Conie Fong Art and I coloured this using Copics

I layered a Lilac card twice with a layer of White Glitter card in between.  The sentiment is hand stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and is from Stampingallday.
