Oh What Fun I had!

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by and sharing this with me.  I had such such fun creating this card.  I haven't a clue where the idea for this came from but it went a little like this lol!  My crafty friend happened to mention that her favourite image of all time was this one called 50 shades of Smexy by Slinky.  I decided that us crafters don't normally receive things with our favourite images on them because usually we like to make things using them.  I bought the image and printed it off and she reminded me of a bauble all tied up like that so I went with the idea to use her to make a Christmas Card (Not the usual Christmas Image I agree lol) 

The Image was coloured using ProMarkers.  The card blank is a 6" Square and I have used a DieVersions Snowflake die for the side borders.  The patterned paper is from Wild Rose Studio.  I cut some baubles using two Memory Box Dies.  The sentiment I typed and printed out on the PC as it had to be just right for the image lol.  The snowflakes are a Robert Addams Die.  I finished by adding Red Satin bows to the baubles and above her hands as she still reminds be of a bauble lol!!!  I popped on some red glitter glue to some of the snowflakes  (Not very clear in the photo)

I was trying to think a little out of the box and use this image for something slightly different.  I hope it worked but if not I don't really mind as I had a real buzz creating it!!

Christmas Dragon

Hi Everyone

I would like to share with you a door hanger that I have made for my Youngest Son.  (The eldest declined, think he thinks he is too old lol!!)

I have used an image called Clydes Christmas from Bugaboo Stamps and I have coloured this with ProMarkers and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.  I covered the MDF Hanger in White Glitter paper and mounted the image onto Green Bazzill and popped it on.  I added a Green Bow and 3 Star Gems.

Disaster Struck!

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to share two cards that I have made today.  The title of my post is Disaster Struck as I have never had so much "Bad Luck" with an image lol.

I printed this image off which is from Slinky Tart and is called Snowman CPR.

I printed it off twice as I wanted to do a Red and a Green Version.  Started colouring up the first one and got carried away with colouring the skin and she ended up naked apart from her fur and her hat!!!  So I thought hey ho will make the next one a clothed version.  Phone rang while I was colouring the second one and the snowman ended up red so that one went in the bin!!!  Needless to say that I was very annoyed but I printed off a third and managed to get a clothed version finished too.

They are both coloured using ProMarkers and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

Naughty Stella!

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the last challenge of this year over at Craft Rocket Challenges. We are taking a break after this challenge for Christmas and will be back on 5th January with the next New Challenge!


The theme for this fortnight however is Winter Time.  Please come on over and play along with us!

I made a cheeky card using an Image from Bugaboo Stamps called Stella-Christmas--Sled.  I have coloured this using ProMarkers.  

I created the background using Memento Dew Drop Ink Pads but for the snow I used a Versa Mark White.  I used some Pearl Drops for snowflakes and Dovecraft Glitter Glue on her hat.  I had great fun playing with the inks again.

Winter Wonderland

Hi Everyone
I have been playing with some of the new stamps that i bought at The Nec at the beginning of the month!  I love these stamps and had such fun playing with them.  I am addicted so there will be more of these types of creations appearing on my blog lol!

I have used Card-io stamps, various Memento Ink Pads and Diamond Sparkles Glitter to create this wintry scene.

Patchwork Apple

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge at Creative Craft Cottage 


The theme for the next fortnight is Anything Goes.  We hope that you will be able to come on over and join in this Easy Peasy theme!

We have two fabulous sponsors for this challenge.  One of them is Lemon Shortbread.  I got to work with this Image called Apple Hat Kid which I have coloured with ProMarkers and used Diamond Sparkles Apple Glitter on!

I have made a Notebook for my Eldest Son's Teacher for Christmas.  It is an A5 size and the covers are made from 2mm White Board.  My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Green Shade and the Patterned Paper is from Tilly and Friends Paper Pack.  I popped on a Teacher Apple Charm to the Top Hinge.  I used a Poppy Stamps Die to cut the Apples and a leaf die for the leaves under the Paper Flowers.  The Sentiment was done on the PC.  To finish I added a Green Satin Bow and Pearl Gems.

Stocking Sketch!

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Sketchy Girls.


We have two fantastic sponsors for this challenge.  One of them is ppinkydollsart and I got to work with an image called Kou Kou which I coloured using ProMarkers.




Here is the Sketch for the this month and alongside it my Project!  We would love you to come and join in with us this month!

 

 
I decided to make a White on White card.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and I have used a White Sparkly Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  I have then used and embossed snowflake card and also an embossed swiss dots card.  The Image and the other Circle have been cut using spellbinders and X-Cut Dies.  I have used a Cottage Cutz die to cut the Stocking and the Holly Leaves.  I added a die cut banner which I have popped on the word "XMAS" in white peel offs.  (A different take on the sentiment I thought!)   I added a White Satin Bow to finish off.

November New Release Time at Fabrika Fantasy

Hi Everyone

Oooh these images just get more exciting every month.  Four colouring pages and a mega cute image are on the menu this month at Farbika Fantasy

I decided to work with two of the colouring pages. The first one is called Autumn Fairy and I have coloured her with ProMarkers.  You can see all the new releases showcased by the fabulous design team over at the Facebook Group.  There is also an Anything Goes Contest taking place over there.  All you need to do is colour up a Fabrika Fantasy image, make it into a project and enter it into the album.  If you don't have an image then you can download Air Fairy this month for free and use that.  Follow the link in the album HERE

Now back to the new releases.

I decided to make a CAS Style card for my first project as I wanted to show off this beautiful image.  As she is quite detailed I printed her off large enough to fill a 7" Square Card Blank.  My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Fawn Shade.  The Verse is hand stamped and is from Stamping all day.




Here is the second colouring page that I decided to colour up.  She is called Spring Fairy and I have coloured her using ProMarkers.  I have left her as a coloured page and will likely frame her later!

Teddy Bear Heart

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a brand new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations 


The theme for the next two weeks is Bingo.  Just incase you don't know how to use a Bingo Board, you need to use three of the items in a row either Horizontally, Vertically or Diagonally.  Easy Peasy!!

One of the sponsors is Bugaboo Stamps and I chose an image to work with called Teddy Bear Topper and I have coloured this with ProMarkers.


Here is the Bingo Board.  I used the middle row across which is Pink, Image and Lace.

For my DT Project this time I have made a wall hanging heart.  I have never made one of these before ad I had great fun.  I bought the heart which came painted white so I used a Versamagic Ink Pad to turn it Pink!  I used Sizzix Scalloped Heart Dies and edged the bottom layer with Nottingham Gathered Lace.  I added Paper Flowers, Pink Satin Bows and Pink Pearl Gems.  To finish I threaded through an Organza Ribbon.  I had great fun making this as it was something a little different for me!

Blue Squirrel

Hi Everyone

We are halfway through the challenge over at Pearly Sparkles Challenge 


The theme for this month is Anything Goes.  We would love for you to come and join in with us.

For my DT inspiration card I have used an image called Dancing Squirrel from Fabrika Fantasy.  I coloured this image using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer are Bazzill Basics Blue shades.  The Patterned Papers are from LOTV.
I used a Cheery Lynn Doily Die which I cut from Blue Card and added a Blue Satin Bow.  I also added some Paper Flowers and finished by adding blue pearl gems.

Pink Princess

Hi Everyone

WOW it's cold here!!  

Today I would like to share with you a notebook that I made for a friend to give to her Daughter for Christmas.  She loves anything Princess or Fairy and pink lol!!

The Notebook is A5 and the image is an Image which I won last month from Little Blue Button Stamps.  She is called  Miss Lilly Princess and I have coloured her with ProMarkers and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.

The Covers are made from 2mm board and I have used Bazzill Basics Pink Shade for my Base/Frame Layer and the patterned paper is from LOTV.  I added a Satin Ribbon and hand tied the bow.  I used Tattered Lace dies for the flourishes and then popped on some Pink paper flowers/Roses.  I also added a Silver/Pink Heart Charm to the top hinge.  To finish I added Pink Pearl Gems to the flower Centres.

White on White Wee Cutie

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge at Craft Rocket Challenges 


The theme for the next fortnight is White on White.  One of my favourites but one I don't seem to do many of!

For my Project I used a Wee Stamp called Candle Light which I have coloured using ProMarkers and I have added some Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

My Card Blank is a 6" Square and I have used a White Shimmer Card as my Base/Frame Layer and used white Swiss Dots embossed card.  I used a Memory Box Frosty Border Die also Precious Snowflakes Die.  The Sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  To finish I added some White Pearl Gems.

Good Girl?

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage.


The theme for the next two weeks is Christmas.  Please come and join in and show us your Christmassy projects!

We have two sponsors for this challenge so some great prizes on offer.  One of them is Ppinkydollsart and I got to work with an image called Christmas Party which I have coloured using ProMarkers.

 

For my DT Project I made my Daughter a Door Hanger.  I bought the chipboard blanks from Ebay and covered this one in Silver Glitter Paper.  I typed on the Chloe Has been GOOD words before printing the Image.  I added a Red Satin bow and cut Poinsettias using a Robert Addams Die.  To finish I added yellow gems for the flower centres.

Autumn Cuteness

All Dressed Up are sponsoring this challenge and I got to work with a very cute image called Magical Day which I coloured using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Red Shade.  The Patterned Paper is from Tilly Daydream Paper Pack.  I cut the image out using a Marianne Craftables Die and added a Green Satin Bow.  I cut leaves in several colours and finished by adding Pearl Gems

All That Glitter!

Hi Everyone

It is time for a new challenge at Daisy Chain Challenges.


The theme for this month is All That Glitters.  So please come on over and link up your sparkly creations with us.

I was asked by a friend to make a card for her to give to her Daughter at Christmas and it needed to be sparkly so I thought I would make it for my DT inspiration.

I have used an image from Lacy Sunshine called Rory Christmas Princess and I have coloured her with ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to her.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Green Shade.  The Patterned Papers which are all Glittered are from Helz Cuppleditch.  I stamped the Sentiment which is from Stampingallday,  I added a Green snowflake ribbon and hand tied the bow.  I used two Memory Box Dies to create the Bauble and to finish I added Red Pearl Gems.

Bat Flapper

Hi Everyone

Here I am with my second card for the new Challenge at Dark 'n' Daring Challenges 


As always the theme is Anything Goes as long as your project is dark or sexy.  Cute Dark is allowed lol!!

This is my second project using the images from  Lemon Shortbread and this time I have used Bat Flapper Girl, which I have coloured using ProMarkers and coloured the background with Memento Dew Drop Inks.  My Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blackbird Shade.  The Purple Paper is from a Gorjuss Paper Pack.  I used a Poppy Stamps Web Border Die and a Purple Lace border along the bottom.  I added feathers and some die cut bats and finished with some Purple Pearl Gems.
