Pink Sparkly Bauble

Hi Everyone

I am here to share another CAS card.  This time a sparkly pink one!

The bauble is a rubber stamp from Stamps by Chloe and I stamped it with a Distress Ink pad and then added some glitter.  The Merry Christmas is also hand stamped but is from Stampingallday

It really is quite sparkly but not sure you can see it in the photo

Never Ending Bunnies

Hi Everyone

I am here with some inspiration for you in the form of Hippity Hoppity Bunnies from Digi Doodle Studios

If you are a regular to my blog you will know that I love the pairables sets and also that I like to try out different folds.  Well this was different. I made a Never Ending Card.  It was not very difficult to put the blank together but the way I decorated it with all the images there was a lot of cutting, alot of colouring and alot of measuring!  It took 10 hours in total to make

If you fancy losing yourself for a few hours HERE is the tutorial that I followed

I coloured the images using Copics and fussy cut them.  I used pink gingham layered onto black shimmer card for each little section.

Here is a video of how to fold it through its 4 stages

I really did enjoy making this although it was extremely time consuming.

Umbrella Smiles

Hi Everyone

I have been playing with some Clearly Besotted clear stamps that were free a couple of months ago in a craft magazine.  There are various stamps and an umbrella die which is great for cutting out the brolly after you have stamped it

I don't normally play with rubber stamps as I mainly use Digi Stamps so this was a nice change for me,

I created a blue border using a distress ink and stamped the rain drops in a darker blue.  I stamped and then die cut the umbrellas and coloured them with Copics

The "Smile It's your Birthday" sentiment is another clear stamp but this one is from Stampingallday.

I had fun using this set and creating this card

Black And White Bath Time

Hi Everyone

I just love playing with the Wine Time Pairables from Digi Doodle Studios

This is my second card this month using them.  They are such fun

I had a scene in my head when they were first released but needed the check design for the floor tiles.  Today a new digi paper pack has arrived in the store called Black and White Classics so my vision has now become reality and I have created my bathroom scene

I used the shelf from another pairable set to stand the candles on.  You can find the shelf in the Charming Enchanters Wizard Pairables

I decided to do a black and white colouring, which is something I haven't done for ages. I coloured the images using Copics and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to the bubbles and the wine bottle label/cork. (You can actually see the sparkle in the photo's for a change lol)  The Happy Birthday I hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  The Relax sentiment is in the pairables set and I placed it over the candles

Just to say Hi

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme is Make it Masculine and we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Digi Stamps

I hope that you can come on over and play along with us

The DT were kindly given a choice of images and I chose to use this one called Sketchy Boy Hi which I have colooured with Copics

I have been playing with CAS style a lot more lately and I have been making cards with just a simple Hello or Hi on them so that once lock down is over I can send them to some of the people I haven't been able to see for a while.

The sentiment on my card I hand stamped and it is from Stampingallday.  I used a dark blue polka dot paper to make the borders

Who remembers this style of telephone?  I have coloured this one up blue but I remember we had an awful green coloured one when I was a child and lived at home with my parents. I can still see it now sat on the old table lol

Wine, Bubbles and Candles

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge Blog

The theme for this month is Use Dies.  I hope that you can come on over and play along with us this month.  We cannot wait to see your projects

For my DT card I have used one of my favourite digi sets ever.  These are parts of the Wine Time Pairables Set from Digi Doodle Studios

As you can see from the photo above I have used the lady in the bath, I printed two of the wine glasses, the candles, the roses and two of the sentiments.  This arrangement is me nearly every night after a day of homeschooling.  I love my candles on whilst I am drinking wine in my bubble bath lol!!!  Sometimes you will find me with a book in there too

I coloured the images using Copics, fussy cut them and created a circle easel card

I cut the shape using GoKreate Circle dies.  The clock face is a Marianne Craftables Die

Pink and Black Flutterby

Hi Everyone

I am so pleased to be a Guest Designer for another month over at Conie Fong Art & Design Facebook Group

I have gone CAS style for my card this time

I have used image Flutterby Daisy and she and all the other gorgeous images are available in the STORE

The card is a 7" x 5" and I used Tim Holtz Distess Oxides along with a stencil that a fellow crafter sent me as a gift. I like using stencils and I really need to increase my selection and play a bit more.

I went for a black and pink colour scheme and layered the stenciled paper onto black card.  I fussy cut the image and glued this on and finished by adding alphabet peel offs to make the HELLO

Purple Bella

Hi Everyone

It's the first Sunday of the month so that means that the challenge has gone live over at Dragonfly Dreams

The theme for this month is Ribbon, Lace and/or Pearls and we are being sponsored by Digi Doodle Studios

I hope that you can come and link up with us this month.

The DT were kindly given a choice of images to work with and I chose to work with this one called Bella Butterfly and I have coloured her using Copics

I used a Spellbinders Grand Oval die to create the shape and layers.  The butterfly papers I have had in my stash for years and thought they were pretty perfect to go with this image.  I used a Wild Rose Studio Die to cut the butterfly and added a satin bow and ribbon strands for the "Stop"  I also added ribbon strands under the paper flowers and finished by adding pearl gems.
