Halloween Pumpkin Gnome

 Hi Everyone

There have been a couple of new releases into the Conie Fong Etsy Store this month.

Here is Pumpkin Gnome and I made a Halloween Gift Tag. (Although I will probably use it as a book mark!)  I have been playing with backgrouds and making scenes recently and thought it would be fun to see how I got on, on a smaller scale. 
 
I coloured the whole thing using Copics.  I added some stars using a Sakura White Gelly Roll Pen and then stamped in the bats which are a clear stamp from Lawn Fawn

Purply Abominable

 Hi Everyone

I am here today to share this card I have made using a Clear Stamp Yes a Clear Stamp!!!!  I have put my big girl pants on and bought two sets of C.C. Designs clear stamps.  I just loved the designs and as they weren't available as digis and I really wanted them I wasn't left with much choice lol!  Clear stamps are way out of my comfort zone and when they arrived I couldn't get a clear image which is one of the reasons I do not like using them in the first place but I decided to treat myself to the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform and I am pleased to say that I managed a perfectly stamped image!

This character is one from the Abominable Set and as C.C. Designs are in USA I purchased from one of their UK Outlets called Crafty Purple Frog 
 
I used an Altenew dot stencil and distress ink to add the dotty border down the side.

Candy Cane Time

 Hi Everyone

This is my second post for September as DT for Conie Fong Art & Design 

I have used Candy Cane Gnome and coloured him using Copics.  I added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to his hat.  I used a candy cane background stencil from GlitzCraft and Distress Inks to create the background.  The Merry Christmas Sentiment is a clear stamp from Stampingallday.

Definitely Too Cute To Spook

 Hi Everyone

I have been getting into Halloween card making a little earlier than I normally do and I blame Sweet November Stamps.  They decided to start releasing their Halloween Digis the last couple of weeks and they are really great.  This image is called Flutterbee - Drusilla and she was the freebie with the August Newsletter.  Never fear though you can now buy her in the store
 
She may be a little vampire but she is Definitely Too Cute To Spook.

She comes with 2 Cute Bat Friends and I have also used the Owl from the Spooky Tree Scene Builder and one of the Gravestones that comes with Willamina the Wraith 

I have coloured the whole scene using Copics and then added a few extra bats in the sky using a clear stamp from Lawn Fawn Tiny Halloween.  The sentiment is a clear stamp from MFT

Pumpkin Kitties

Heart Easel Card

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage 
 

The theme for this month is Anything BUT Square.  We do not have a sponsor for this challenge but we will still be choosing a Winner and Top Spots and you can win a badge for your blog!

For my DT card I have used this cute elf called Candy Elf by Alicia Bel This was a freebie image in an event at DigiMojo Facebook Group a couple of months ago.  I decided to create a heart easel card.  It has been a while since I made an easel card.

I coloured the image using Copics and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to the hat
 
I used a heart die by Little B Designs and cut the layers both white and pink polka dot.  I cut the snow hill from hammered card using an MFT scalloped wavy border die.  The snowflakes I also cut from hammered card and they are cut with a Tattered Lace die.  The sentiment I typed on the laptop at the time of printing the image and I finished by adding some clear pink gems to the centres of the snowflakes

Cheeky Fairy with Added Sparkle

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 
 

The theme for this month is Add Sparkle and I have used digi images from The Greeting Farm 

I was lucky enough to win a gift certificate to their store in a blog hop recently so I used it to get the set called Fairyland which gives you great images to build scenes with and I also got Cheeky Fairy 
 
I coloured the scene using Copics and added Diamond Sparkles glitter to the centre of the flowers.  I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to add sparkle to her dress and bow

Scarecrow Sally

 Hi Everyone

I am beyond excited to share this post with you.  If you are a regular to my blog you will know that I have been learning backgrounds by following colouring video tutorials and techniques by Amy Young - Adventures in Colouring with Amy  Amy and her sister Tee own Sweet November Stamps and in the store you can find the cutest Digis.  They also sell clear stamps.  I tend to work with their digis they are my favourites.

On Thursday I woke up to an invite to be the Guest Designer for today's new release which is called Something to Crow About.  It is an Autumn/Fall themed release and you can find scarecrows, pumpkins, crows etc
 
I was so thrilled to be asked and want to thank Amy & Tee for having me. 

So the excitement was amazing I was buzzing.  The Images came through. Gorgeous Images then the PANIC. I only have two days to do this!!!   I work way in advance if I can normally.   And the images are Scarecrows. I have never seen a Scarecrow other than watching Worzel Gummidge or Wizard of Oz as a child. So I had to do a bit of research see how to colour these beauties up lol!

Anyway after some late night colouring I managed to pull a project out the bag and I was pleased with how it turned out and I found out I can actually work under a bit of pressure lol!

And tomorrow I have another one to share because I actually managed two!!

So for this card I used Sally Strawman, Pumpkins, Corn and I put it together with the Pumpkin Patch Scene Builder Stamp and coloured it all using Copics and a clear star gelly roll pen

Amanita's Pond

Pink, Pearls and Sparkle

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of our special challenge at Pearly Sparkles Challenge 
 

This month the challenge is dedicated to Traci who was the original owner of the blog and a fabulous friend or mine.  Our theme is Pink, Pearls and/or Sparkle (Traci's Recipe) which were her three favourite crafty things.

I hope that you can come on over and play along with us this month
 
For my DT card I have used Snowflake Wishes from Conie Fong Art 
 
I have coloured her using Copics and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to her furry bits on her dress and her snowball.  I used a Taylored Expression Snowflake Stencil and Baby Pink Glitter Paste to create the snowy background.  This card is so glittery lol!  I even noticed a bit of stray glitter I have forgotten to brush off in the close up photo but then you can never have too much glitter!!
I added Pink Liquid Pearls to the centre of some of the snowflakes in the image.
 
I have used all three items in my project but you only have to use one in order to enter.

Sleepy Bear Scene

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Crafty Animals 
 

 
 The theme as always is Anything Goes as long as you include an animal.

For my DT card I have used digi images from Sweet November Stamps and created this scene.

The big bear is called Reflections - Honey Bear , the sleeping bear and tree are called Tree Friend - Sycamore and I have coloured this whole scene using Copics and a White Gelly Roll Pen.

The sentiment is a clear stamp from Stampingallday
