Annoying Wife!

Hi Everyone

Today I am sharing with you the anniversary card I have made for my Husband for tomorrow.  We have been married 11 years tomorrow and the sentiment that came with this image which I placed inside the card is so perfect lol.

The Image is from Bugaboo Stamps and is called Young Couple - Person to Annoy and I have coloured with Copics

I followed the current sketch at Catch The Bug (One of Bugaboo's Challenges) 




My Card is a 5" x 7" and the patterned paper is from a Joy paper bloc.  The sentiment on the front is hand stamped using a Memento Tuexedo Black Ink Pad and is from Stampingallday.  I used a Tonic Studios die to cut the banner and finished by adding blue pearl heart gems just to decorate up a bit!

Batty About You!

Hi Everyone

It Tuesday and my last post this month for Digi Doodle Studios 



For my inspirational project this time I have used Going Batty and coloured it up using Copics.  Am in CAS mode at the moment lol.  I go through these phases every now and then where I see lots of lovey CAS cards and it gets me in that kind of mood. It happens to me with colours too.  I see lots of nice cards made using a certain colour then I go into that colour mode. Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me??

As my Card is CAS there isn't much to say about it really.  It's a 5 x 7 " Card and I typed the sentiment when I Printed the image.  I layered the Image and a White layer onto Black Card and also mounted the sentiment onto this too.

It's a Red, White & Blue Theme

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the new challenge today over at A Gem of A Challenge 



The theme for the next fortnight is Red, White & Blue.

I used one of the fabulous Hand Bag card kits that are available in the store together with this cute image called Thoughtful Chloe which I coloured using copics, fussy cut and sat on one of the buttons.  This hand bag card kit is British Handbag Card but there are lots of different ones to choose from.  You just print them, cut them out and glue them up.

I used some of the printed embellishments that came with the kit.  The buttons I punched out, the flower I cut out.  I added some small blue buttons from my stash to finish off.

Monochrome Purples

Hi Everyone

It is time for the new challenge at Monochrome Magic 


The theme for this month is Anything Goes Monochrome or Monochrome with a TWIST of Purples

Here is my DT card. Slightly different for me as there is no image. I hardly ever make a card that has no image but I really like how this one turned out.

The card is a 7" Scalloped Square and I cut the butterfly using a Wild Rose Studio Die.  I stamped the sentiment which is from Inkylicious and cut it out and layered it using a Cheery Lynn Banner Die.  I added Paper Flowers and finished off with clear flower gems.

Nutcracker Noelle

Hi Everyone

It is my turn to share some inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios 

For my DT card I have used Nutcracker Noelle and I have coloured using Copics.

Don't forget we have our Anything Goes using a DDS Image in the Facebook Fan Group and also this month theme over at the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog is Baby Boom. We would love to see your Baby projects and you can use any artists image to enter this one!  Hope you can play along

My card is a 7" Square and the patterned papers are from my stash.  I used Blue base card and added a layer of White Glitter card in between to add some sparkle.  The verse is hand stamped and is from Circa Designs.  I fussy cut the image out and popped this on next to the verse.  I finished by adding a Blue Ribbon Bow.

Back with Yellows!

Hi Everyone

I am so excited to announce that I am back on the DT for A Gem of A Challenge 
 

I stepped down earlier in the year due to "Life" but now its all calmed down I am pleased that Janet and Christine decided to take me back on.  

Today is the start of the new challenge and the theme is Use Mostly Yellow.  I know that alot of crafters don't like to colour in yellow but I do!  If you have never tried, then give it ago you might be pleasantly surprised by the result!

Here is my DT card using Emma in Hat and I have coloured her using Copics.  Emma is one of my favourite PG Characters and you can find her and all the other gorgeous digis in the store HERE


  The Card blank is a 7" Square and the patterned papers are from my stash.  I used a Go Kreate Circle die to cut the image out and layered this onto a circle cut from a Spellbinders Decorative Circle Die.  I used a Marianne Craftables die to cut the flowers and a butterfly die for the little butterflies.  To finish I added flower gems to the centre of the flowers.

Ballerina - The Movie

Hi Everyone

As my regular followers will know I like to enter the Alicia Bel Facebook Challenge 

Once again Alicia has decided to do this in teams of four people and the theme for this time is Movies.

I have teamed up with the same talented crafters as last time Susan Bennett, Bonnie Kohane and Margaret Ashby.  All of these are well known around blogland. Bonnie is the computer whiz in the team and she made us the Emotion Watermark to go with our team name!

Our team name remains the same "The Eyes Have It"

I chose to work with this image called Dancer Daisy and I have coloured her with Copics.

The film I based my card on is Ballerina.  If you haven't seen it, it is well worth a watch.  The movie is about an orphan girl who dreams of being a famous Ballerina.  She runs away from her orphanage with her friend to Paris to try and fulfill her dream.  I wont spoil it by telling you if she makes it or not but she has quite an adventure!

My Card is a 7" Scalloped Square and I have used Patterned Papers from the Paris Paper Pack by Dovecraft.  I hand stamped the Birthday Sentiment which is from Stampingallday, added Paper Roses, Square Pearl String, a Satin Ribbon Bow, Pearl Flower Gems and finished with Pink Pearl Gems!
