Girly Time

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge today over at CCC Digi Creations.

The theme for the next fortnight is Let's Get Girly.  It would be really lovely if you would come on over and join in with us.  We would love to see your Girly creations and also you will be amazed what the talented team have done for your inspiration.

We have Three Sponsors for this challenge so there are some great prizes on offer too!  All you need to do is link up your Girly stuff with us!

One of the sponsors is Karleigh Sue  and I got to work with her image called Crop Top Cutie.

I coloured her with ProMarkers and you might notice that she is no longer wearing a Crop Top.  You can blame my 6 year old Daughter for that as when I was colouring her she asked me "What colour are you going to do her belt?"  I replied that it was her tummy showing and she was wearing shorts.  Her reply "I don't think she should have her tummy out it's far too cold"  Well I couldn't argue with that so I turned her from wearing a Crop Top into a Playsuit and gave her a belt lol.

The Card Blank is a 6" Square nad I have used a Bazzill Basics Yellow and Lilac for my Base/Frame Layers.  The Patterned Paper is from LOTV.  I used a Wild Rose Studio Frame Die to cut the Image out.  I added Yellow GrosGrain Bows and Purple Paper Roses and to finish I added Purple Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges
Create and Inspire - Anything Goes
Brown Sugar - Pearls
Robyn's Fetish - Pearls

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I hope to see you again soon.

Let's Get Girlie at Pearly Sparkles

Hi Everyone

I was so pleased to be asked to be a Guest Designer for the New Challenge Blog Pearly Sparkles Challenge.  Thank you to Traci for inviting me.  The theme for this month is Girlie and Pearly.  Don't forget you need to add Pearls to your project in order for your entry to qualify.

For my Guest Designer Card I used an image from Small and Round called On My Mind and I coloured it with ProMarkers.  I made this Mother's Day Card for my Mother In Law.

The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics.  The Patterned Paper is from a LOTV Paper Pad.  The sentiment is from stampingallday which I stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added a Pink Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The corner is cut using a Spellbinders Die and I decorated it with Paper Roses.  To finish I added Pink Pearl Gems.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this card with me.  Please come on over and join in with the challenge.  I love reading your comments so please feel free to leave me one.  Hope to see you again soon.

Mother's Day with Little Elf Kia

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.  The theme for the next fortnight is Mother's Day/Female.  It would be great if you would come on over and join in with us, we would love to see your girly creations.

For my DT inspiration card I used an image from Aurora Wings called Little Elf Kia.  I have had this image for a very long time but always put off colouring it as I have seen it coloured up by some wonderful crafters and I didn't think I would be able to do it justice.  Anyway I have had a go and I am pleased with how she turned out.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.

My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics and the Spotty Paper is from Galeria Papieru's Sprinkle Pastel Paper Pad.  The sentiment I stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and is from Stampingallday.  The die cuts are a Memory Box Whimsical Circle and I added some Paper Flowers.  To finish I popped Pearl Gems in the Flower Centres and added a Pink Satin Bow.  I hope my Mum likes it, I think she will!

Thank you for stopping by and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Favourite Colours at CCC

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.  The theme for the next fortnight is Use Your Favourite Colour Combo.  Would be great if you would come on over and join in with us.

We have the fabulous Aurora Wings sponsoring this challenge.  To be in with a chance of winning the prize come on over and link up with your favourite colours with us.

The DT were kindly given some image to work with.  I chose to work with Ballerina Kitty 3 and as you will know if you are a regular to my blog I love colouring in Black and White (among others!) so I went with this.  I coloured the image using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to it.  I used glimmer chalk to add grey around the image to take off some of the white background.  The card shape I cut using Spellbinders Grand Dahlia Die from a Bazzill Basics Card.  The Patterned Paper is from Dovecraft Back to Basics Paper Pack.  I added a Black Satin Bow and Black Pearl Gems.

Thank you for stopping by today to share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I would love you to become a follower and be kept up to date with all I create.  Hope to see you again soon.
