Mythical & Magical with Unicorn Challenge Blog

Hello Everyone

I am soooooo excited.  It's the first Challenge over at Unicorn Challenge Blog.  The Theme is "Mythical & Magical" and it would be great if you would come over and join in with me and the Team.  We have a well known Guest Designer joining us too.  

For my DT Card I have used Polka Doodles Digital Stamp called Octavia Moonfly.  Isn't she just the sweetest and the Unicorn is so cute.  I coloured the Image using Promarkers and used a Sakura Gelly Roll Pink Glitter Pen to go over the detail on her wings.  The Card is a 7" Square Card Blank and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Purple Shade.  The Pretty Background Card is From Kanban.  I have cut a Tattered Lace Cherished Flourish (Both Sizes) in White and added Paper Flowers to decorate them.  I Hand Stamped the Dreams Verse which is from Circa Design using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  To finish I added Several Pearl Gems and a Lilac Satin Bow.

Funny 40th

Hi Everyone

It's my friends 40th and I would like to share the card I made for her using Bugaboo's Stella - Belly Button Image.  I love their funny images and there are so many to choose from.  My friend will find this funny! 

The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is an Encapsulated Cerise Pink Glitter Card and then a Plain Black Card as the main Layer.  The Image is coloured using ProMarers.  (I gave Stella a bit of a Blue/Grey Rinse lol)  The sentiment is from Stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad to stamp it up.  I added a Pink Organza Ribbon and finished off with some Pink Pearl Gems.

Golfing Eagle!

Hi Everyone

I am here to share this Fabulous New Release from FabrikaFantasy.  It's fantastic for those Male Golfers (Actually if you colour the shorts Pink it would suit the Female Golfers too.)  I might have to try this lol!  If you haven't already visited the store then please click here to discover the other great images available.

The Image is called Champion Eagle and I coloured it using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Dark Green Shade.  The Patterned Paper is from Galeria Papieru's The Way to the Stars Paper Pad.  Now I have found these Paper Pads I am addicted they have so much choice of designs!  The Birthday Wishes sentiment is from Stampingallday and I stamped it using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  To finish I added Silver Grey and Green Pearl Gems

Pink Posy

Hi Everyone

The rain has finally stopped here for a minute!  I would like to share this card with you today.   I have used a Wee Stamps Image called Posy.  I coloured her using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers to her.  The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Pink Shade.  The Patterned Paper is from The Hidden Desires Paper Pad by GalleriaPapieru.  I have used several die cuts on this card.  The Spellbinders Decorative Circle, Marianne Creatables and the Butteflies are Memory Box.  The Sentiment is Hand Stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and is from Stampingallday.  I added White Lace, Paper Flowers/Roses and finished with Pink Pearl Gems.

Designer Paper Time!

Hi Everyone

I was so thrilled to be asked to be Guest Designer at Scrapping4funChallenges.  Thank you to Rachelle and the Team for letting me join them for this fun Challenge. 

The Theme for this fortnight is "Use any name Brand Scrapbooking Paper"  I hope that you will come over and join in with us for this challenge.

For my GD Card I used the newly released image from FabrikaFantasy called Little Travelers and I coloured this using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square Card Blank.  My Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Blackbird Card and the "Designer Papers" I have used are from the Dovecraft Sweet Paris Paper Pack.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad to stamp this up.  To show off the Paris Themed Papers I kept this card fairly embellishment free and just added a Pink Satin Bow and some Pink Pearl Gems.

Christmas Angel

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all ok and enjoying crafting time.

 I am upset this morning as I was cutting some dies and my original Big Shot broke!  It has completely stopped cutting in the middle.  I am gutted, I loved this machine!  I do have my A4 Big Shot so I am not without a machine but its nowhere near as good as the Little Big Shot.

Anyway, today I would like to share a Christmas Card I have made using Conie Fong's Angel of Christmas Stars Image from Sweet Pea Stamps which I have coloured using ProMarkers.  I went for a non traditional colour scheme.  I added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to the Flowers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Starmist.  The Background Paper is from Lili of the Valley's Krafty Christmas Paper Pad.  I use Wild Rose Studio Snow Flurry Die to cut the Snowflake Border.  The sentiment is stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and is from Stampingallday.  I added a Blue Polka Satin Bow and finished by adding Blue Pearl Gems.

Monochrome Parrot

Hi Everyone

Thanks for stopping by.  I have a card to share with you which I made today.  It's another black and white.  I find it is totally calming to colour in Greyscale and with the kids off I need calming lol!

I have used Pirate Parrot 2 from FabrikaFantasy  I coloured this little chap up previously and just had to try him in Black and White this time.  I always think of Pirates of the Carribean when I am colouring him!

I decided to make a CAS style card for a male.  The Image was coloured using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and I used a Black encapsulated Glitter Card as my Base Layer.  The Happy Birthday is from Stampingallday and was stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added Black Pearl Gems to finish.
