Black and White Scottish Castle

Hello Everybody!

Thanks for dropping by!  Today I would like to share with you a Black and White Creation.  I love Monochrome Cards (and not just the Black and White Versions!).  This one is for a Male Family Member who loves Castles and Museums etc!  This is a new image by Teri Sherman at Delicious Doodles.  As soon as it was released I knew it fit this person a treat and I had to have it!  The card is 17cm Square and I have used Plain Black Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  To this I have mounted a Black and White Circle Stripe from the Black Charm Paper Pack.  The Black and White Spot and the Bold Stripe are from Dovecrafts Monochrome Paper Pack.  The Sentiment has been Hand Stamped and to finish I have added 6 Black Pearl Gems.  Male cards can't be all bows and swirls but I had to add a little bit of Bling with the Gems!

Trick Or Treat Spooky Pup!

Hello!

OK I couldn't resist colouring up this little Guy again!  He is just too Cute!  Just incase you haven't seen my earlier post he is a digi image from Tiddly Inks called Spooky Pup.  I have used Bazill Basics Orange Card for my Base layer and added a layer of Black before the Spotty Paper which is part of a Halloween Digital Paper Pack that I purchased from Etsy.  I used a Cottage Cutz Trick or Treat Word Die which I cut in Black Glitter Card.  The Pumpkins with the Faces are from Cottage Cutz Gothic Gate Die and the flourish is a Cheery Lynn Fanciful Flourish Die cut in Black. To finish I added an Orange Polka Dot Bow!

Star Dancer

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all ok and its dry weather where you are!  Today I would like to share this card I have made using AuroraWings Star Dancer Image.  I always get nervous when colouring up one of AuroraWings images as they are so detailed but I loved every minute of colouring this and she looks like she is having a great time!  I have added Glitter to her Skirt but I don't think the photo's show it too well!  I used a 20cm Square Card blank and used a Brown Bazill Basics Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  The Green Background Paper is from First Editions Up and Away Paper Pack.  The Brown is a LOTV from the Country Gent Paper Pack.  The Swirly Die Cuts are a Tattered Lace Cherished Flourish Die and I decorated these with Clear Green Gems.  I Hand Stamped the Sentiment, added a Green Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I have used several different Paper Flowers to decorate this card including the Big Bloomer at the bottom left.  The Centre is a Green Brad.  To finish I added Pearl Gems in Brown to make the Flower Centres and Green at the edges of the card.

(Apologies if this is not eligible in the Incy Wincy Challenge as I did not actually use the words Happy Birthday.  I checked the DT Inspiration and they hadn't all used the exact words where they have chosen these 3 so hope its ok! If Not please let me know and I will remove it.

I hope you enjoyed sharing this card with me as much as I did making it!  Thank you for visiting my blog.  I would love to have you as a follower.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this card.  Hope to see you again soon.

Cute But Spooky!!!

Hi Everyone

Another first for me today with this card I would like to share with you.  It's my first ever Halloween Card.  I have lots of images for Halloween as I love them but I have never made a Halloween Card.  The Image is from Tiddly Inks and is called Spooky Pup.  Isn't he adorable?  Rather alot going on with this card so I hope I don't miss any of the bits out that I used to create it!  As I wanted to put a lot on it the Card Blank is 20cm Square.  The Base Layer is Black Glitter Card.  I had trouble finding any Halloween Papers so I purchased a Digital Paper Pack from Etsy and both the Spotty Papers that I have used are from this pack.  The Orange which has been layered onto the Black Glitter Card is a Bazill Basics card.  I used this to make the Harvest Moon too!  This was cut using a X-Cut Circle Die.  The Gate and the Tree are dies from Cottage Cutz called Gothic Gate and Spooky Tree and the Ghosts are a Sizzix Die.  The Word Boo! is from a GoKreate Die.  I used a Black and an Orange Ribbon together and tied a Bow and also suck them side by side on the card to give a Wide Ribbon Effect.  To finish I added some Black Pearl Gems to the Image.

I enjoyed making this card and I am thinking I might make another one before the end of the month!  Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Have a great day and a Happy Halloween!!

Announcing Teddy Bea!

Hi Everyone!

Wow! What a mixed bag of weather we are having.  This week so far we have had Sun, Rain, Severe Winds and Thunder and Lightning.  I love Stormy Weather and today we had the most amazing Rainbows!
I am so excited by this card that I am sharing with you!  (I actually have 2 firsts for me with this card)  I was told about Teddy Bo by a very Wonderful Crafter.   I had not heard of them before and when I looked at the site, I couldn't believe how many images they have in their shop!  This is my first but will definately not be my last.  (My other first is that I have never made a Centre Stepper Card Before!)  This Image is called Teddy Bea 213 and she comes either as I have her here or with a Merry Christmas Sentiment.  I don't have alot of experience at colouring bears and it took 4 attempts to get her face looking how I liked it.  I nearly gave up!!  Here's what I did with her!  I coloured her using Promarkers and mounted her onto a Red Card which I have used for my Base/Frame Layer.  The Background Papers are LOTV from the Classic Christmas Paper Pad.  I used several dies to decorate this card.  They are Crafts Too Holly Border which I cut in Red, Cottage Cutz are responsible for the two different Holly cuts.  The bow was sent to me by a friend when she bought a new die so I don't know the name of this but I used a Red and a White one and layered them together.  The sentiment is Hand Stamped using the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and I added Diamond Sparkles Soft Snowdrift to the furry bits.  Its sooooo sparkly!  I wasn't sure whether to add more bits to the side steps but I didn't want to hide the Paper as I love it!

Praying for Snow!

Hi Everbody!

Hope today finds you all in a cheery mood!  I would like to share this card with you.  I found these colours really difficult to match up together but I hope I have made a fairly good job of it!!!  The Image is a Penny Johnson Stamp and is called  " I Wish" which I stamped up using Memento Ink Pad Tuxedo Black and coloured with Promarkers.  I used a Bazzil Blue for the Base/Frame Layer and mounted Red Embossed Swiss Dots Card onto it.  The Blue Snowflake Paper is from Dovecraft.  I cut a Blue and White shape using a GoKreate Frilly Frame Die to make the Tag and then threaded Blue Satin Ribbon through the hole and added a bow both at the top and the bottom of the Ribbon.  I used Memory Box Frosty Border and Roberts Addams Snowflake Dies which I have cut in Blue and Red Glitter Card.  To finish I added  Red and Blue Pearl Gems.

White on White Christmas Bauble

Hi Everyone

Thanks for popping by.  I would like to share this card with you.  It's a White on White Christmas Card.  I love the effect of White on White.  I find myself wondering if it works as well with other colours.  (Something to investigate at a later date!)  I have used Embossed Snowflake Card and I also Embossed the Merry Christmas Strip at the top.  This embossing folder was a free gift on a magazine from Tiddly Inks and its the first time I have used it.  The Bauble is created from two Memory Box Dies Drop Ornament and Lrue Ornament.  The Poinsettias are cut from White Shimmer Card and I used the Robert Addams Poinsettia Die for these.  To finish I added a White Satin Bow and White Pearl Gems.  This was a quick card (Especially compared to one of my recent  projects)  I think White on White always looks so elegant!
