Winter Fun

 Hi Everyone

I have been playing with backgrounds again today and followed another tutorial from Adventures in Colouring with Amy  

I fell in love with this snowman digi from CC Designs and new I just had to find a background to add to him.  He is called Winter Snowman and you can find him in the store HERE

I actually printed him out and coloured him in facing the other way and then when I found the background decided that I wanted him facing the snow hill so had to flip him and colour him up again!  

So what do we think is he going to go up the top of that hill to roll down it?.  I would lol!

I have created this scene and coloured the image using Copics, a white Sakura Gelly roll Pen and Diamond Sparkles Glitter

Waterfall Crystal Fairy

 Hi Everyone

This is my second project this month as DT for Conie Fong Art & Design Facebook Group 

I am really excited to share this with you.  I have wanted to take my crafting in a slightly different direction and learn how to do backgrounds.  I recently discovered Adventures in Colouring With Amy who does a live video every Saturday and then saves the videos so that you can play the at any time and colour along and learn the techniques to create fabulous scenes like she does. 

As soon as I decided I wanted to work with Crystal Fairy for my DT project I went to Amy's page to see if I could find a background to go with her.  As soon as I saw the waterfall in this one I just had to have a go.
 
I was nervous at trying this as anyone who knows me knows that I cannot draw for toffee!!!  I didn't need to draw to create this it's all about what colours to put where and how to layer them to make the background symbolise what you want it to look like.
 
This whole scene is created using Copics and I added a little sparkle with a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen

If you have a couple of hours free on a Saturday 7pm UK Time to watch then I highly recommend it or definitely visit the page and check out the videos, there are so many fabulous ones that I want to try now lol!

Sandy Scene and Farewell!

 Hi Everyone

Here is my final card for this new release and also my final project as a DT Member at Digi Doodle Studios 
 

 
I have thoroughly enjoyed being part of this team, running the Monthly Challenge and dealing with the sponsorship side and I will miss the ladies on this talented team.  
 
For this card I have used the Senitment, Pelican and the Crab from the Land and Sea Pairables The rest is from the Seaside Scene Builder Set

Splashin Day

 Hi Everyone

Here is my second post for today to share the new releases that have arrived in the store at Digi Doodle Studios 


This time my card has been created using Davie, the sentiment, dolphin and turtle from the Land and Sea Pairables and the clouds, lighthouse, cliffs, seagulls and waves from the Seaside Scene Builder Set 

I coloured all the images using Copics and used a memento Dew Drop ink pad to add colour to the sky

Seas the Day

Hi Everyone
 
Today is new release day over at Digi Doodle Studios 
 

This months release theme is Nautical and there are several new digis and pairables that have arrived in the shop today
 
I have three cards to share with you at various times throughout the day and this first one features the new digi Davie together with the fish and sentiment from the Land and Sea Pairables and the waves and lighthouse from the Seaside Scene Builder Set
 
This scene has been coloured with Copics and a White Gelly Roll Pen and the sky was done using a cloud die and Distress Inks.

Christmas Leilani

Hi Everyone

Here is my first project this month as DT for Conie Fong Art Facebook Group
 
This time I have used Christmas Leilani and I have coloured her using Copics and I added just a touch of sparkle with a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.
 
The sentiment is also from Conie Fong and you can find it Here.
 
I enlarged her to take up most of the card front as I think she is striking and had to be the whole focus

Molly's Summer Scene

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 
 

The theme for this month is Summer Time and I have made a summery scene using Molly's Basket of Love from Conie Fong Art  This background was inspired by Amy Young  I have been following her colouring video tutorials and I am learning all sorts of new things.

This scene was coloured using Copics and the sentiment I stamped using a stamp from Hunkydory.

A Precious Notebook

Snowman Shaker Tag

Hi Everyone
 
Today is the start of this months challenge over Peary Sparkles Challenge 
 
 
The theme for this month is Favourite Time of the Year.  I have gone with Christmas and I have a Shaker Tag to share with you

The image is from the Winter Snowmenn Pairables Set  from Digi Doodle Studios and I coloured him using Copics

For this tag I used tag dies by Vinfutur and cut the tags from Red Card. I used Acetate to cover the window and little snowflakes for the shaker bits.  I added a red beaded cord.  The larger snowflakes are punched and I popped on clear red gems to the centres.

Hey Chicky

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Crafty Animals.
 

As always the theme is Anything Goes as long as you include an animal on your project

For my DT card I have used this images from the Gossip Chicks Pairables which are no longer available as Digi Stamps but you can buy them as clear stamps from Ink n Splatter

I coloured the images using Copics and used Distress Inks to colour up the sky area
