Waterfall Reindeer

Hi Everyone

It is the start of this months challenge over at Pearly Sparkles Challenge

The theme for this month is Christmas  I hope you can come on over and play along with us

For my DT card I have used this cute image from Bugaboo Stamps called Reindeer Blocks and I made them into a waterfall card

I coloured the images using Copics.  The patterned paper is from my stash.  I made the waterfall arrangement and attached it and finished with some pearl gems

Star Dragon

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Crafty Animals

The theme as always is Anything Goes as long as there is an animal on your project

For my DT project I made a gift bag using this gorgeous dragon from Dragon Heart Pairables which are available from Digi Doodle Studios

I have coloured him using Copics and then fussy cut him  The spotty card is from Limetree crafts and I used a Stitched Star die to layer under the image and a star border die for the top edge of the bag.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday.  To finish I added some blue pearl heart gems

Penguin Wedding

Hi Everyone

I was asked by a friend to make her Daughter a wedding card.  The bride is mad about penguins and the theme for the wedding was silver, ice blue and snowflakes.

I headed to Whimsy Stamps as I knew that there had to be a penguin couple there.  If I need a penguin I always head here lol!

This cute couple is called Penguin Bride and Groom and I have coloured them using Copics.  I was asked to give the Bride a white bouquet and the Groom a Teal Bowtie and I also coloured the ribbons on the flowers in Teal to match the colour scheme.  I must admit I did a little "Happy Dance" when at the bottom of one of my many drawers of card and paper I found some Foil Embossed Ice Blue Card with Silver Snowflakes from Hunkydory!  I also cut some in Teal Glitter card using a Robert Addams Snowflake Die.  I personalised the card with the Name and date and added a sparkly silver bow.  I finished by popping on some light blue gems to the centers of the snowflakes.

What can you see Little Bear?

Hi Everyone

Here I am sharing another inspiration for the Pink Gem Etsy Shop

I have made a bridge card so that this cute bear called Waiting Polar Bear
could watch Santa fly over from his snow mound!

I followed a tutorial for the card which you can find HERE

If you want to make a slightly bigger size I made some changes and you can find the bigger size HERE

I coloured the bear with Copics and used a Robert Addams Die to cut the Flying Santa and Reindeer.  I decorated the card blank with Ice Blue plain card and a snowflake embossed card and created the snowmound using a Wavy Border die and White Hammer Card.  I popped on a Merry Christmas Peel Off and finished by adding some White Pearl Gems to the snowflake centres.

Santa and his Elves

Hi Everyone

Not only is there a Free Giveaway where Digi Doodle Studios have teamed up with Kit and Clowder today but there is also another new cute Christmas Digi that has made his way into the store.

He is called Santa Gnome and I have combined him with parts of the Christmas Elves and Winter Snowmen pairables to make a bridge card (with an extra strut!)

I made a small bridge card recently (which will be on my blog on 26th) but I found that due to size of it I was limited to the scene I could create.  So I made my own measurements up and added an extra strut (not sure if that is the correct word) so that I could make a larger scene up.

Here are the measurements I made incase you would like to have a go

I made the base as per the measurements above and then decorated the blank using Blue card, embossed dots card and Hammer card to make the snow mounds.  All the images are coloured with Copics.

I set the scene then added some snowflakes which I cut from blue glitter card using a Tattered Lace Die.  I popped on some blue pearl gems to the centres

The whole scene is coloured with Copics and then layered onto black glitter card.
