Penguin Wedding

Hi Everyone

I was asked by a friend to make her Daughter a wedding card.  The bride is mad about penguins and the theme for the wedding was silver, ice blue and snowflakes. 

I headed to Whimsy Stamps as I knew that there had to be a penguin couple there.  If I need a penguin I always head here lol! 

 This cute couple is called Penguin Bride and Groom and I have coloured them using Copics.  I was asked to give the Bride a white bouquet and the Groom a Teal Bowtie and I also coloured the ribbons on the flowers in Teal to match the colour scheme.  I must admit I did a little "Happy Dance" when at the bottom of one of my many drawers of card and paper I found some Foil Embossed Ice Blue Card with Silver Snowflakes from Hunkydory!  I also cut some in Teal Glitter card using a Robert Addams Snowflake Die.  I personalised the card with the Name and date and added a sparkly silver bow.  I finished by popping on some light blue gems to the centers of the snowflakes.

    Absolutely love this card Lisa! These cute penguins make a perfect wedding card, love your background you chose too! I am just getting back to responding to you regarding your comment on my card last week, apologies for the delay I was away at the Whimsy Retreat over the weekend and just getting caught up today! The background was a die, I posted rather quickly while getting ready to go out of town and forgot to mention the die! You can find it at the Whimsy Online Store, it is my favorite die just now!
