For Eileen

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of our special challenge dedicated to Eileen Dobson who was the original owner of CCC Digi Creations.  It has been two years since she sadly passed away but she is not forgotten by any means.  Eileen also started Creative Craft Cottage so we will be doing the same over there this month starting on 7th!

The theme for this Month is Anything Goes but the DT have added a Lavender Ribbon or Bow to their projects (as this is the general cancer ribbon colour) in memory of Eileen

 My Card is a 7" Square and I did lots of layers.  I recently did a similar card in Blue shades and I like the layers so thought would do one again but in Purple Shades and add the all important Lavender Bow to it.

Go Green Gabby!

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the new challenge over at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge today.



The theme for this month is Baby Boom.  We would love to see Babies on your projects or a project for a Baby!  Anything Baby related really. 

We are low on entry numbers in our challenges.  So please if you enter challenges regularly can you add us to your list.  We would love for you to come and join in.
For my DT project I have used the adorable Little Gabby Stroll and coloured her using Copics.  I made her up a couple of weeks ago when she was released in pink and so I thought would do a green version.  She looks cute whatever the colour lol.

  The card blank is a 6" Square and the Gingham card is from my stash.  I double layered it with the same card and ran another layer down the middle which I edged using a Joy Crafts Border Die.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from stampingallday. The Image I cut using a Go Kreate Die and cut the scalloped layer out using a Spellbinders Die.  To finish I added a Green Satin Bow and Clear Green Gems.

Sooo Me!

Hi Everyone

It is my turn to share a little inspiration for Digi Doodle Studios  


I haven't made an easel card for ages so thought would make one for this post.  The image is called Bubbles and she is so me.  The only thing that is missing is my book.  I love a soak with a glass of wine and my book for company!!  My friend does too so she will end up with this card when it is her birthday in October!

I coloured her using Copics.  The bubble paper is from my stash.  I cut the banner using a Joy Crafts Die and added alphabet peel offs to make the RELAX.  The clear gems were given to me by a friend as a present.  I thought they were all individual gems but they are in strings which was perfect for this card.  They kind of look like bubbles!  The sentiment/stopper I hand stamped and is from stampingallday.

Just Rockin'

Hi Everyone

The weather has been so nice the last few days.  I love the Sun and it can get as hot as it likes for me lol!!

I am sharing with you a card I made using one of my latest Images from Bugaboo Stamps.  I was kindly given a gift a certificate by a crafty friend and purchased 4 new Digis.  This is one of them.

It is called  Rock Star Boy and I have coloured him using Copics and ProMarkers (For the denim jeans as I still cannot find a Copics blend that I like for Denim!!) 

The Card is a 6" Square and the Patterned Papers are all from Scrap and Craft.  I followed the latest sketch at Creative Sketchy Girls 

Here are the two side by side!

 










 I used a stitched star die to cut and layer the star and hand stamped the "You're a Star" Sentiment using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad. Other than these two additions I stuck to the sketch as it is!

Isabella Curly Cuteness

Hi Everyone

I am here to share a little Fairy Cuteness with you today.

Here is a card I have made using Isabella Curly Girls from Digi Doodle Studios 

She is just the cutest little fairy sat on her branch.  I have coloured her with Copics.

Just a reminder that the current challenge over on the Digi Doodle Studios Challenge Blog still has over a week to run.  The theme is Ribbon and Pearls.  We all use these on our cards right?  Hope you can pop over and play along.

The card blank is a 7" Square and the swirly patterned paper is from LOTV and the Latge Dots and Small Dots paper are from my stash.

I used a Green Glitter Card for my base layers as I really wanted a sparkly card for this one!  I added green lace and a green sating bow.   I used a Memory Box Die to cut a Butterfly and added the peach pearl flower gems to finish

Cheers!

Hi Everyone

I was lucky enough to win a challenge recently at A Gem of A Challenge  The prize I chose was two digis and this one I have used is one of them.

This fabulous Digi is called Dave with Beer and I have coloured him up using Copics. I was asked to make a couple of Male Cards by a friend.  She said Hobbies and Habits please!! Most men have beer in their hobby list lol!

The Card is a 5" Square and the patterned paper is from LOTV.   The sentiment I typed on the laptop before printing the image.

Peek-a-boo I see you!!!

Hi Everyone

Today I am showcasing one of the recently released digis under the banner Bundle of Joy at Digi Doodle Studios 


 This beautiful image is called Little Gabby Stroll and I have coloured her with Copics and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter.

She is just too cute peeking out from under her pram hood!!

The card blanks is a 7" Square and the Polka Dot Card is from my Stash and the Button Card is from HunkyDory.  I popped on some Paper Flowers and a Pink Satin Bow and finished with Pink Pearl Hearts.
