Silhouette Card

Hello Everyone!

Something a little different from me again!  Monochrome!!  I have never made a Monochromatic Card before and I love it!!!  Am already playing with ideas for the next one!!  The lady is a die cut silhouette and is holding a Rose in her hand.  I used a 7" Square Card Blank and used Black Card as my Layering/Framing Colour.  The gorgeous Black Rose Background Paper is from the Black Charm Paper Pack and I layered the Silhouette onto White Dovecfraft Glitter Paper and tucked a Memory Box White La Rue Flourish underneath it.  I added a touch of Pink Glitter Paper behind the Silhouette to make the Flowers in her hair stand out and her ear ring.  I used a White Organza Patterned Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The Roses were Handmade using the Britannia Multi Rose Die.  I Stamped a Happy Birthday Sentiment and then finished off by adding Black Pearl Gems.

Snowy Postbox Red and White

Good Evening Everyone

I love this Snowy Postbox image by Delicious Doodles so much that I had to make another card up using it.  I think there will also be a few more!  I added a touch of colour this time to the image, Red for the Postbox and Green onto the Tree and Wreath.  I have also glittered the Snow and it really does sparkle.  The Card Blank is 7" Square and I used HunkyDory Deluxe Mirror Card as my Base/Frame.  I layered White Swiss Dots onto it and added a Red Snowflake Ribbon.  I cut some more layers of the Red Mirror Card and White Swiss Dots to make the two squares where I have put the sentiments.  I have used Robert Addams Word Dies for these.  I couldn't decide who this would be best for and originally thought I would add "Brother".  Then a friend said "oooohhh that is so my Mum and Dad", so I went with that!  To finish I used Robert Addams Snowflakes Die to cut the Snowflakes in the Red Mirror Card and then added Red Pearl Gems.  I had great fun once again with this image!

I have a firm idea for another Snowy Post Box Card so be sure to come back again soon and share it with me.  Thank you for visiting my blog.  Please leave me a comment as I would love to know what you think

Snowy Postbox

Hi Everyone

I have gone all Christmassy!  Its my absolute favourite type of crafting and I haven't made a Christmas Card for a while so thought I would make one up!  I fell in love with this Delicious Doodles Image called Snowy Postbox and as soon as I purchased it had to start working with it!  The first thing I did was add Glitter to parts of the Snow on the image.  The card is a 7" Square Card Blank.  I used Silver Mirror Card as my Base/Frame and layered HunkyDory Foiled Snowflake Background Card onto it.  As this card is quite a busy pattern I felt I didn't need to or actually couldn't add lots of embellishments as they got a bit lost.  So I decided to keep it more simple and added White Christmas Ribbon and a  White Merry Christmas which is cut using a Robert Addams Word Die.  I also added a stamped "Just for you" where the Ribbon crosses and then finished off with a large "WOW" factor Slver Bow.

Clever Chloe!

Good Evening!

Hope you are all ok and having a relaxing time!  I have been busy again making the last Thank You Card that I need to make for my Daughters School.  The image is a Sherri Baldy Image and she is called Clever Chloe and coloured using Promarkers.  This is very fitting with my Daughter as she is called Chloe and is in Dragonfly Group.  This gorgeous character has a dragonfly dress!!! Perfect!!  I have used a 7" Square Card Blank and the Beautiful Flowery Background Card is from HunkyDory Spring Sensations Collection. I layered this onto Orange Background Card and repeated this a couple of times with different sizes and layered them all up onto the card. I used an Organza Orange Polka Dot ribbon and Handtied the Bow. I  didn't need many embellishments as this would take the focus away from the Gorgeous Background Card and Image so I just added 4 Orange Flower Gems and finished off with a Thank you Peel Off!

Bambino Baby Boy

Hi There Everyone

Hope you are all ok. Thanks for dropping by.  I have a card that I would like to share with you today.  Takes me back to previous years of card making before I started colouring images. No coloured image on this one!  The card blank size is 7" square and I used LOTV Spotty Blue Paper for the first layer/frame and then used a different card with larger spots on for the Main.  Bambino Bear is die cut from Bazzill Card and I have used Marvy Le Plume pens for the detail lines and then shimmer chalks for the shading.  He is very comfy sat on his pile of Nappies with his Dummy and Bottle nearby.  The Bunting is also a die cut and I Hand Stamped the Baby Sentiment.  I added a few Buttons, a couple of Blue Pearl Gems and a Blue Satin Bow under Bambino Bears Chin to finish off.  Its been a while since I made a card that is mostly made from Die Cuts and it was fun to do.

Blossom - Blue

Good Evening Everybody

Its been a hot day here today, lets hope it continues over the weekend!
I would like to share a card with you that I have made.  The Image is from Delicious Doodles and she is called Blossom.  I chose to colour her up in Blue (using Promarkers) as this is the favourite colour of the intended recipient of this card.  The card blank is 7" square. I have used Fawn colour card as the layering colour and onto this have put LOTV stripey paper and also some Butterfly Paper to make a Decorative Panel to which I added Blue Satin Ribbon and a Handtied Bow.  I used the Wild Rose Studio Corner Flourish Die and popped the Blue Roses and Flowers onto it.  I used Memory Box Butterfly dies, hand stamped the "Thank You" sentiment and finished with a couple of Blue Pearl Gems and Blue Flower Gems.

Emmilou Boo's Inchworm

Good Evening Everyone

I hope you are all well.  I have a card to share with you. I haven't included a sentiment this time which is the first time I have ever made a card without one!  This card has been made as a Thank you Card for one of my Daughters Teachers but I didn't like how the sentiment looked when I added it so I changed the layout and left it off!  I have stamped Thank You inside the card instead.
This card is a 7" Square and the Image is a Lacy Sunshine Image.  Its called Emmilou Boo's Inchworm and I think she is just adorable as are all the Lacy Sunshine Images.  My favourtie colours to work with are Pink, Blue and Green so I decided to colour her up in Blue. I have used a Spotty Background Paper which is from LOTV and the Blue Rose Card is a Hunkydory Adorable Scorable from the Traditional Floral Prints Range.  I have mounted these and the coloured image onto a Blue Bazzill Card.  I used Memory Box Precious Hearts Dies and also the flourish under the flowers is a Marriane Creatables Die.  I used Blue Paper Flowers with Blue Pearl Gems for the centres and finished off with Blue Bows.
