Ballerina - The Movie

Hi Everyone

As my regular followers will know I like to enter the Alicia Bel Facebook Challenge

Once again Alicia has decided to do this in teams of four people and the theme for this time is Movies.

I have teamed up with the same talented crafters as last time Susan Bennett, Bonnie Kohane and Margaret Ashby.  All of these are well known around blogland. Bonnie is the computer whiz in the team and she made us the Emotion Watermark to go with our team name!

Our team name remains the same "The Eyes Have It"

I chose to work with this image called Dancer Daisy and I have coloured her with Copics.

The film I based my card on is Ballerina.  If you haven't seen it, it is well worth a watch.  The movie is about an orphan girl who dreams of being a famous Ballerina.  She runs away from her orphanage with her friend to Paris to try and fulfill her dream.  I wont spoil it by telling you if she makes it or not but she has quite an adventure!

My Card is a 7" Scalloped Square and I have used Patterned Papers from the Paris Paper Pack by Dovecraft.  I hand stamped the Birthday Sentiment which is from Stampingallday, added Paper Roses, Square Pearl String, a Satin Ribbon Bow, Pearl Flower Gems and finished with Pink Pearl Gems!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

  6. What a pretty card - you've embellished it so beautifully. Thanks for the message you left on The Library Challenge. There aren't really any rules, except that your creation is in some way connected to the book - cover, title or story. No max challenges or anything like that. I'd love you to join in - there's two current challenges 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and 'Where the Wild Things Are'.
