I have made a Christmas Card for My Mother-in-Law using the gorgeous Midnight Prancer which I have coloured with Copics, A Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen and Diamond Sparkles Glitter

The Card is a 7" Square and the Patterned Papers are from LOTV. I used a Paper Doily.  I typed the sentiment on the laptop when I printed the image.  To finish I popped on a Red Satin Bow and Pearl Gems

Sparkly Fairy Poem Card

Hi Everyone

I have something special to share with you today.

I have made this for a friend who is ill and I will send this to her as she is recovering just so she knows I have the fairies looking over her!  (Got to have some fairy fantasy magic in your life lol!)

I finished last months clolouring class from Kit and Clowder using my Copics and to get the sparkle effect I used a White Gelly Roll Pen.  The Image is called Sitting Pretty on Mushroom and is from Conie Fong Art  I have layered the coloured image onto brown and yellow card and then on the reverse I have added a Poem about Fairies.  I found the poem on google and I loved it so I typed it up in word and printed it out.  It was just perfect for the purpose for which I intended it.

I added some Gold Peel Offs Fancy Edges to the Top and Bottom of the Poem and I had some white sturdy card stands so I coloured one with a dark bark copic so that she can just turn it to whichever side she wants to look at.

I would like to enter this Poem Card into the following Challenges

The card is a 7" Square and the spotty paper is from Limetree Crafts.  I typed the sentiments on the laptop before I printed the image.  I double layered the card using the dotty paper I do love this double layer effect.  To finish off I added a Blue satin bow and pearl gems

Winter Theme Debate

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge today over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for this month is Winter.  I really struggle with this theme and we had a big debate amongst the DT as to what Winter Cards are.  To me they are Christmas and that is as simple to me as it is.  For others it is Images of winter things such as sledging, Ice Skating etc.  What I cannot understand is why you would even have the theme of winter as we do not send "Happy Winter Cards"  Again it seems simple to me its just not done lol.  However the DT's argument is you can use Ice Skating, sledging images etc for Winter Birthday.  Once again I did not get this lol.  My birthday was the 2nd of January which is in winter but I wouldn't want a card with a sledge on it just because its in that season.  Anyway I agreed to disagree and we went with the theme of Winter but for those of us that cannot think of anything other than Christmas I threw a Christmas image in for the DT to use lol.

I would be interested to know what you all think about this.  Is the Winter theme for you just another word for Christmas or do you send cards with Winter images on for something else?

We are being sponsored for this challenge by Paper Nest Dolls and the image I used is called Tree Dress Avery and I have coloured her using Copics and Diamond Sparkles Glitter to give her sparkly tights.

The card is a 7" Square and I based it with Gold Mirror card and the stripey paper is from Trimcraft.  I used the same Mirror Card and Stripey Paper to make up the layers on the card.  I added a Christmas Ribbon and hand tied the Bow.  To finish I opooed on some Gold Nail Heads.

Hi everyone

How excited am I?  The very talented artist Dina at  Digi Doodle Studios has drawn a digi of ME!

I am being spotlighted this month.  It is a very strange and amazing thing to colour a digi of yourself lol.  I love to colour so she has got some copics in there, I love to read so there are books and I like a glass of wine so that is there too.  Its just me to a tea (or glass of wine lol)

The Image can be found in the STORE and is called

I made a card for my Mum for New Year.  Thought she would like a card with me on the front lol!

The card is a 7" Scalloped square and the patterned papers are from LOTV.  I coloured the image with Copics.  I used punches to punch both the large circles and the scalloped circles and cut the numbers using a Robert Addams Die.  I added a green grosgrain ribbon and hand tied the bow.  I finished by adding some pink pearl heart gems
