The Fairy and the Unicorn

Hi Everyone

I am very excited to share the news with you that I am now the owner of The Fairy and the Unicorn challenge blog.


Sadly Fiona had to close this one and several of her other blogs due to health reasons.  I wish I could have taken them all on and kept them all going but as I already have several I didn't have time for them all, but I managed to save this one lol! 

Recently, this blog has been an Anything Goes with a twist challenge blog but when Fiona first started it was a Fantasy Themed Challenge blog.  So I am changing it back to its original state and the theme will always be Anything Goes as long as it is Fantasy Themed.

I hope that you can come on over and play along with us.

For my DT project I made a Christmas Card using this image from All Dressed Up Stamps called Christmas Tree Fairy

I have coloured her using Copics and then I used a Tag Die for GoKreate and cut the outer layer and drew round the inside and cut the image out to layer it.  Nesting tags never layer close enough!  I used a patterned paper from my stash to make borders either side.  I was given the Mint coloured Linen card as a present and I have had it ages and couldn't find a use for it!  I added some sparkle to her wings using a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen, popped on a satin bow and finished with clear gems.

Music Lover

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage 


The theme for this month is For The Men and we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Digi Stamps 


 I chose to work with this image called Johnny Music and I have coloured him with Copics and ProMarkers

The card is a 6" Square and the patterned papers are from Joy Craft Earth paper pad.  I used a Joy die to cut the banner and added alphabet peel offs for the word Music.  I punched some black hearts and finished by adding a Happy Birthday Peel Off.

Fairy Alalia and Brushos

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 

The theme for this month is Autumn.  If you are a regular to my blog you will know that I struggle with Season themes.  My brain does not engage with these themes as you don't send "Happy Autumn" cards lol.

I hope that you can come on over and share your Autumn creations with us.

For my DT Project I made a large gift bag using this gorgeous Autumn Fairy called Fairy Alalia from Digi Doodle Studios and I have coloured her with Copics

I fussy cut her out and made a background using Brushos with Autumn Colours.  The leaf paper is a Tilly DayDream paper pack I have had for ages.  I used a Tattered Lace Die to cut the "Elegant Flourishes" and finished by adding some leaves that I also die cut.

Ballerina Girl

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations 

 
The theme for this month is For A Child and we are being sponsored by Lemon Shortbread. 
 

I chose to work with this image called Ballerina She comes with fairy wings or without.

For my DT card I coloured the image using Copics and used a Martha Stewart Border Punch and punched a fancy edge.  I layered this over some Teal coloured card.  I stamped the verse which is from Stampingallday.

Christmas Star

Hi Everyone

I recently won the challenge over at Sognando Scrap (Dreaming Scrap) 


I was asked to be a Guest Designer for this challenge.  The theme is Anything Goes this month and I have made a Christmas card using this sweet image called Christmas Star
from All Dressed Up Stamps which I have coloured using Copics and then fussy cut out.

The card is a 6" Square and the starry paper is from Wild Rose Studio.  I added a pink satin bow and some pink pearl gems.

Happy Birthday Traci!

Hi Everyone

It's a busy day on my blog today, this is my 3rd post!

The new challenge started today over at Dragonfly Dreams 



The theme for this month is Happy Birthday and it is dedicated to the previous owner of this challenge blog Traci who sadly passed away in February this year.  It would have been her birthday on 25th of September so we would love to see all your birthday creations

We are being sponsored for this challenge by Bugaboo Digi Stamps and I chose to work with this image called Stella Facebook Birthday I just love the sentiment that came with this image!

I made this card to send to a friend over in USA but after over a week she still hasn't got it!
 
I coloured the image with Copics and made a 6" Twisted Easel Card.  The patterned paper is from my stash.  I die cut the balloons and finished by adding some pearl gems.

Monochromatic Anniversary

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Pearly Sparkles 


 The theme for this month is Add a Ribbon and/or Bow.  I hope that you can come on over and link up with us.

For my DT card I did something a bit different for me and made a card using Die Cuts rather than an image!

The card is a 7" Square.  I used a Spellbinders Die to cut the corners and the heart.  The Happy Anniversary word is a Robert Addams Die.  To finish I added some White Pearl Gems, punched a white heart and popped on a white satin bow.
