Sleeping Kitten Freebie!

Hi Everyone

Well I have some exciting news to share with you.  I have joined the team at Pearly Sparkles Challenge.  I was so thrilled to join this team and I even got a personalised DT Badge!!

This is a monthly challenge blog with a new themed challenge starting on the first of each month and finishing on 25th!  As there are rarely sponsors I get to work with any images I like as long as they fit the theme!!

For my First DT card I used a freebie which I was inspired to use after I saw it in another challenge blog.  It is called Sleeping Kitten and is from Sliekje Digi Stamps

I coloured the image using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Pink Shade.  The Pink Patterned Papers are from LOTV.  I have added a lace border and three clear heart gems down the side.  I used a Tattered Lace Flourish Die and popped some Paper Flowers on it and a Pink Satin Bow.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I used my X-Cut Butterfly Punch and added some Butterflies around the sleeping Kitty!  To finish I added Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.

The theme for the next fortnight is Monochrome.  Would be lovely to see your Monochrome Creations and also come and check out what the talented design team have made for your inspiration.

For my DT card I used an image from Artidoodles called Fairy Fae.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Blue Adorable Scorable.  The Blue Spotty Paper is from a LOTV Paper Pack.  I popped a doily under the image and added Paper Flowers.  I used a Blue Satin Ribbon and made a Flat Bow.  To finish I added Blue Pearl Gems, Blue Polka Dot Buttons and a Clear Blue Gem Flower.

WOW Wolves

Hi Everyone

Today sees the start of a new Challenge at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for the next fortnight is Include an Animal.  We have some great sponsors for this challenge and one of them is Artidoodles.  The DT were kindly given a choice of images to work with and I chose to work with this one called Lycaonia and I coloured her with ProMarkers and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Glitter Pen.

I decided that with the wolves and her furry cloak this was kind of a wintry scene so I decided to make a White on White card.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a White Gold Dust Card and I then mounted White Swiss Dots card onto this.  I cut the image and the layer out using my Spellbinders Grand Oval Dies.  I cut it on an angle so that there wasn't too much white around the image!  I used several other dies too which are, Robert Addams Poinsettia and Snowflake dies and also Memory Box Frosty Border.  To finish I added White Pearl Gems and some Clear Rhinestone Flowers.

Busy Busy Finally!!!

Good Morning

It has been lovely for the last couple of days here, today it's back to the same old rain!!!

If you are a regular to my blog you will know that every so often I try and make one of those "Busy" cards that so many of you are so good at.  I am never quite happy with it lol.  However, I think I have finally achieved it and I am pleased with this one!!!

The Image is called Tilda Binding Flowers and I coloured it using ProMarkers.  I used my Marianne Creatables frame die to cut the image out.  I have used Lace, Feathers, Flowers and an elegant flourish die.  I have used Pearl Bows, Pearl Roses and other Pearl Gems and a little resin butterfly.  Oh and a Satin Ribbon Bow!!!  Lots of stuff lol!!!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I had so much fun making this card and I hope to be able to make a few more "Busy" ones.  Thank you for taking the time to stop by and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Flower Power

Hi Everyone

Its time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.

The theme for the next two weeks is Flower Power.  Please come on over and join in with and check out what the talented DT have made for your inspiration.

For my DT Card I have made an 80th Birthday Card.  The Card had to be bright as the recipient does not have very good eyesight.  I think this is quite bright lol!

The Image is from Imagine That and is called Bouquet For...  You get a choice and I went for the friend one.  I coloured it using ProMarkers.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics.  The Patterned Paper is from Scrap and Craft.  I used a Spellbinders Large Oval Die to cut the Image out and a larger one to mat it on.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I added a Green Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I used a Memory Box Butterfly Die to cut the Butterfly, added Paper flowers and then finished with Pearl Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Blooming Sixteen!

Hi Everyone

I was asked by my friend to make a card for her to give to her Daughter who is turning Sixteen.  She was getting really fed up with not being able to get a card in the shops with Daughter and 16 on it.  So here is what I came up with and I am pleased to say she loved it!

I used an image from Artidoodles called Beautiful Blossom and I coloured her with ProMarkers.  I used a Bazzill Basics Green Card for my Base/Frame Layer and the Patterned Papers are from a Wild Rose Studio Paper Pack.  The "To a Very Special Daughter" Sentiment is from Stampingallday and the other Sentiment I typed up in Word on my PC.  I added Purple Lace and a Lilac Satin Bow and finished with Purple Pearl Gems.
