Blue Serenity

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Monochrome Magic today.


The theme for this month is Anything Goes Monochrome or Monochrome with a TWIST of No Patterned Papers.  I would love for you to come on over an play along with me this month.

For my DT Card I was inspired by the layout of a card created by Diane Jones which she added to the FB March Challenge over at Conie Fong Facebook Contest so I asked her if she would mind if I used her layering design.  You can find Diane's card in the Album HERE 

I didn't add any of the embellishments on to mine as when I got this far I liked it with just all its layers lol!

I have a thing about Blue Shades at the moment so decided to go with this for this card.

The Image is one that I recently won in a Name Game in the SheepSki Designs Facebook Group I called her Serenity and this was chosen to be her name in the SheepSki Designs Shop  You can find her HERE

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and I coloured the image using Copics.  I hand Stamped the Sentiment which is from Stampingallday witha Tuxedo Black Memento Inkpad.

I had such a great time colouring her, especially the hair which as my regulars will know this is my favourite thing to colour!

Dragon Thanks

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the new challenge for this month over at Creative Craft Cottage 



The theme for this month is Die Cuts and/or Punches.  I hope that you can come on over and play along with us

Our sponsor for this challenge is SheepSki Designs


 I got to work with this recently released image called Dragons Fly and I coloured him/her up using Copics and Memento Inks.  Couldn't decide if mine was male or female lol!

The Card is a 7" Square and I made a Thank you Card for my youngest Son's Teacher as he is in Dragon's Class!

I used a Spellbinders Large Oval Die to cut the aperture.  The Thank You word is an Elizabeth Craft Die and the Dragon Flies are a Cottage Cutz Die.  I finished by adding Pearl Gems.

Keira Freebie

Hi Everyone

We are so excited over at Digi Doodle Studios Facebook Group 

We have teamed up with Kit and Clowder this week and are offering a freebie digi called Keira and her Puppy.  You need to join both the Kit and Clowder Group and the Digi Doodle Studio Group to be able to claim your freebie.  If you colour her up and and make her into a project we have an Anything Goes Challenge in the FB Group too which you can enter.

I have made up this card using Keira and she was a delight to colour.  I used my Copics to colour her up.

I have used the current sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 

Here is the sketch
  

The card blank is a 7" Square and the patterned paper is from LOTV.  I cut the image and layer out using Go Kreate Circle dies.  I hand stamped the Thank you sentiment which is from stampingallday and then punched it and layered it onto a scalloped circle which I cut using a Spellinders die.  To finish I added Clear Flower Gems

Biker Chic GD Spot

Hi Everyone

I was very excited to be asked to be a GD at Dragonfly Dreams this month and I got to work with a sponsor image too!



The theme for this month is Here Come The Girls and they are being sponsored by LeAnn's World 101 I got to work with this fabulous image called Biker Chic which I coloured using Copics

The card blank is a 7" Scalloped Square.  I embossed lilac card using a Lattice Heart Embossing Folder.  I cut the banner using a Joy Die.  The sentiment I typed on the laptop before printing the image. I finished by adding some clear purple gems.

Bugaboo Flower Power

For my DT card I used this gorgeous image called 4 Block Tulip Square and I have coloured this using Copics.  I decided to keep this CAS I really love this image and just add a simple Happy Birthday Sentiment.

Best Friends Forever

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Digi Doodle Studios Challenge 



The theme for this month is Ribbons AND Pearls.  We need to see both on your creations!  I really hope you can come on over and join us this month.  We would really love to see some more creations using DDS images too so why not visit the STORE and see what gorgeous digis there are available for you to play with


For my DT card I have used this image called Girlfriends and I have coloured it with Copics

The Card blank is a 6" square and I used white and green layers.  I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the edging along the top of the first white layer.  I added pink satin ribbon across the top left and bottom right corners and hand tied a bow and popped this on.  I finished with Green Pearl Gems

Black and White Ballerina

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge today.  


The theme for this month is Monochrome.  I cannot wait to see what you create and hope that you can play along with us

For my DT card I used this image which was free recently at Kit and Clowder.  I tried to find it in the shop but couldn't but she is called Sassy.  If you like it why not check out the other images that are available at All Dressed Up Stamps 

The card blank is a 6" Square and the patterned papers are from Trimcraft.  I coloured the image using Copics and the sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I added a polka dot grosgrain ribbon, a satin bow, some paper flowers and some Black gems to finish.
