Goodbye & Good Luck

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge today over at Daisy Chain Challenges


The theme for this month is Anything Goes  Hope you can come on over and play along with us.
 
For my DT Inspiration I have made a card that I was asked to make by a friend for her friend who is leaving for a couple of years with her husband as he has been posted abroad.

The Image is called Where're We Goin? from the Paper Shelter and I have coloured it using Copics.  The background paper is also from The Paper Shelter.  I couldn't find any travel papers so I used the one that comes with the Digi Stamp.  I cut the banners and the message I typed on the laptop.  I added Paper Flowers and Pearl Flower Gems to finish.

Kyles Creation

Hi Everyone

Getting the kids crafting in the holidays was the inspiration that made Pink Gem run a Children's Challenge.  The weather so far for the school holidays has been rubbish to what better to do than colour and create!  Kyle who is my eldest decided to make a card ready for his friends birthday after the holidays.  Gaming is their favourite thing to do and they love it that they can do it more than usual when its the holidays!

Kyle coloured this Kenny K Image using ProMarkers and with a lot of glue on his fingers he made this!

Baby Giraffe

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges 


The theme for this month is Animal Kingdom.  As long as there is an animal on your entered project then it qualifies! 

For my DT card I made a Baby Girl Card.  I was lucky enough to win some Oddball Art Digis in one of their recent challenges and this was one of the images I chose.  Its is called Kawaii Valentine Giraffe IMG 136 and I have coloured it using Copics.

The Card is a 7" Scalloped Square and the patterned paper is from my stash.  The sentiments are both hand stamped and are from Stampingallday.  I used a Memory Box Precious Hearts die to cut the hearts, added a heart patterned grosgrain ribbon, a satin pink bow, heart buttons and a clear gem to finish off!

Party Crab

Hi Everyone

Its the first of the month so that means a new challenge has begun over at Fabrika Fantasy 


The theme for this month is Anything Goes so easy peasy for everyone. I hope that you can come and play along with us. 

For my DT card I used one of the new images that were released in July called Cheerful Crab and I have coloured this with Copics

The Card is a 6" Square and the patterned papers are from LOTV.  I did a double layer as I like how this looks lol.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  To finish I added Blue Pearl Gems.

Puppy Hugs, Buttons and Bows

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations


The theme for the next fortnight is Buttons and/or Bows.  We have two fabulous sponsors for this challenge so that means the chance to win so great prizes.  Please come on over and link up with us.

I chose to work with this image called A Cuddle Makes it all Better from All Dressed Up who is one of our sponsors this time.  I have coloured this using Copics.




For my DT card I followed the current sketch at Creative Sketchy Girls

I do like a sketch with lots of layers lol!

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and the patterned papers are from my stash.  I cut the image out and layer using a Go Kreate Circle Die.  I added a Blue Satin Ribbon and hand tied the bow.  I popped on some Heart Buttons and finished with Blue Pearl Gems

Letter "C"

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 



The theme for this month is Mythical and Magical.  Hope you can come on over and play along with us.  Check out what the talented DT have made for your inspiration! 

For my DT project I made a Letter "C" for Chloe's room.  I did R for Ryan a while back so I have now done C for Chloe, just K for Kyle to go at some point!

The image is from Pink Gem Designs and is a newly released Digi image called Unicorn
This cutie is also available as a printable topper kit.  I coloured this using Copics

I painted the Letter C using a Ranger Paint Dabber and fussy cut the image and stuck it on.  I used a Memory Box Precious Stars die to cut the stars and added a Pearl Gem to the top ones.

Pink Gem Children's Challenge

Hi Everyone

I have some very exciting news.  A Gem of A Challenge of running a Children's challenge.  I know alot of you have sons/daughters, grandchildren etc that you sometimes craft with so its a great opportunity to get the kids crafting through the holidays.


The Challenge runs from 29th July until the 25th August.  The theme is SUMMER HOLIDAY/VACATION. 

 Here are the entry details

Chall is open to Children up to age of 16yrs.  3 prizes 
up to 6yrs.... 6 + to 10yrs... 10+ to 16yrs...
Entrants can use ANY Stamped OR digi image.
CARDS Only to be entered. 
 Theme is SUMMER HOLIDAY/VACATION
Anything to do with Enjoying the summer holidays/break ..

The DT  have asked their tiny family members to make inspiration cards and they are really fab so please pop on over to the blog and leave them a little comment!

Chloe has made this card using Chloe at the Beach card topper kit.  There are loads of summery topper kits or digi stamps if your little ones like colouring in the Store

Chloe used a 6" Scalloped Square Card Blank and the patterned paper was from my stash lol.  She used the Bigshot to cut the summer themed dies which are from Tattered Lace.  To finish she added a ink Satin Bow.
