Yellow Splash

Hi Everyone

I am here today to share this card I have made using the Conie Fong Vase of Flowers Image that is a Freebie in the FB Group.  Thank you Conie for this fabulous Freebie!  It can be used for so many occasions I Love it!

It's cold, dark and grey here today so this little bit of Sunshine colour was needed lol!

I have made this Valentine/Love Card.  I coloured the image using Promarkers.  I wanted the Sunflowers to stand out so I coloured all the rest of the image in Greyscale but then made the Sunflowers nice and bright.  The sentiment I typed up on the Laptop when I printed the image!

The Card Is a 6" Scalloped Square and the three different Patterned Papers are from Trimcraft.  I added some Yellow Paper Flowers and a Yellow Bow to coordinate with the image.  To finish I added Pearl Flower Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

It is the start of a new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge

The theme for this month is Butterflies and/or Hearts.  We would love for you to come and join in with us

I would like to share this card with you that I have made for my Mum for her Birthday.  I went with the Hearts side of the theme for this one!

The Image is from MoonFlower Stamps and is called Valentine Teddy and I have coloured her with Copics, ProMarkers  and Prismacolour Pencils.
I have used a 7" Square Card Blank.  The patterned paper is from my stash.  I have added some wide lace and a flower arrangement.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday and I cut this out using a Spellbinders decorative oval Die.  I also used a Joy Die to cut the heart.  I added a couple of satin pink bows and finished wit some Pearl Heart Gems.

With Love to my Boy!

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for the next two weeks is Anything Goes and we have two fabulous sponsors.  Please come on over and join in with us.

One of the sponsors is Crafty Sentiments Designs

I chose to work with this cute little bear image called With Love and I have coloured him up using ProMarkers.  I made this card for my youngest Son who is turning 5 in April.

I followed a sketch from the Creative Sketchy Girls.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and the spotty papers are from Scrap and Craft.  The Star Paper is from my stash.  I cut the image out using a Go Kreate Circle Die and layered this onto a scalloped circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Die.  All the words I cut using Robert Addams Dies.  I popped n a number 5 white peel off to the top balloon and then finished by adding some Polka Dot Buttons.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me, i do hope that you can come on over and play along with us at Creative Craft Cottage this fortnight.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Family Tree

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges

The theme for the next fortnight is It's a Love Thing.  We would love for you to come on over and play along with us.

For my DT inspiration I made something completely different.  This is the first time I have attempted to make something from Wood but I saw this on a site on the internet and loved it.  I wanted to buy it as a present for my Husbands 50th Birthday which is next week and I thought why don't I have a go and make my own one.  So here it is.  I bought the tree and Hearts from Craft Heaven, bought some Distress Paints and the little wooden butterflies and doves.  It took quite few coats of the paint to get the doves and butterflies white but I got there in the end lol. I wrote the names on myself using a Sakura White Pen.   I am really pleased with how this turned out.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this with me today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.

Two Star Cards!

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations

The theme for the next fortnight is Add a Heart.  Please come on over and join in with us for this challenge.  We have great sponsors so that can only mean great prizes to be won!

I got to make two cards for this challenge.  Both are using images from All Dressed Up Stamps.  I made a mistake when I ordered them as they both had the same name but as Wendy kindly sent me both I used both lol!

This is the first one using A Star is Born and I have coloured this using Prismacolour Pencils.  The card is a 6" Square and the dotty background card is from my stash.  I added some Paper Flowers, a Satin Bow and finished with the Blue Pearl Hearts.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

The second card using the image A Star is Born was coloured using ProMarkers, Copics and Prismacolour Pencils.  The Card size is a 6" Square and I kept this CAS style.  The little verse is from Card-io Stamps and I punches the hearts using my X-Cut Heart punch.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges
Cardz 4 Guyz - Something Beginning with C (Christmas)
Christmas With The Cuties - Christmas Carols or Songs (While Shepherds watched their flocks by night)

Lovein' Lions!

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Fabrika Fantasy Challenge Blog.

The theme for this month is Add a Heart.  Please come on over and join in with us.

I chose to work with this image called Happy Lion and you can find this gorgeous lion and all the other fabulous digis available by visiting the STORE.

I decided to make a Valentine Card using two Happy Lion Images.  They are so cute and I had a great time colouring them up!  I coloured them using ProMarkers and Prisma Pencils. The Scalloped Hearts are a Sizzix Die and the Sentiment and little hearts are stamps from Stampingallday.  I needed tiny bows so I used a Cheery Lynn Mistletoe die that just happens to have a little bow with it.  Perfect for our little lions here lol!
