Splash of Red Tilda

Hi Everyone

I was so excited to be invited to be a Guest Designer at Paradise of Magnolia for the new challenge that starts today.  Thank you to Shuly and the team for having me join them!

The theme for the next two weeks is "Show us your colours"  This means that the entries should be your favourite colours!

For my card I used an image called Rose Scent Tilda and I coloured her using ProMarkers.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blackbird Shade.  The Patterned Paper is from stash.  I used a Tattered Lace Flourish Die (both of them), a Memory Box Die for the Butterfly and a Joy Crafts Die for the Heart.  I added Lace, a Black Satin Ribbon and two Red Satin Bows.  I also popped on some Red Paper Roses and buds and to finish I added Black Pearl Gems!

I hope you like my GD card.  Please come on over and join in the challenge.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Just Peachy!

Good Morning Everyone!

It is the start of a new challenge over at Dragonfly Dreams Challenge

The theme for this month is Monochrome.  One of my favourites!!  Our sponsor for this challenge is The Paper Shelter and I chose to work with an image called Charmy Bunny which I coloured with ProMarkers.

For my DT inspiration I made a book mark!  I used a Bazzill Basics Peach shade for the base and then layered white onto it.  I also layered the image like this too.  I punched a hole and threaded some white ribbon through it.  I used a Marianne Creatables Flower Die then added some peach gems for the centres.  To finish I popped on some Peach Pearl Hearts.

I had great fun making this.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Vintage Yes or No?

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Pearly Sparkles Challenge.

The theme for this month is Masculine.  We would love for you to join in and show us your manly creations!

For my DT Inspiration project I have a card to share with you today that features an image from The Paper Shelter and it is called Vintage Car.  I was lucky enough to win this image in a challenge.  As you may or not know I struggle with Vintage as a theme so I thought I would try and make a Vintage Male Card.  When I googled Vintage Male Cards they were fairly plain unlike the Female cards which are full of Lace and Pearls.  Please tell me did I succeed in making a Vintage looking card or is it just a card with a vintage picture on it lol.

I coloured the image using ProMarkers.  The Card Size is a 7" Square and My Base/Frame Layers are Bazzill Basics Brown Shades.  The Bacground Paper is from the Vintage 1 Paper Pad by Forever in Time.  The Sentiment I hand stamped using a Memento Cocoa Ink Pad.  To finish I added some Cog Die Cuts and popped on some Ivory Pearl Gems.

I do rather like how it has turned out and I would love to colour this up again in Ivory tones and try and make something that resembles Female Vintage.  I never get it right though lol!

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this card with me.  Please let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.
