Very Pink Mia

Hi Everyone

I was invited to be one of this months Guest Designers at Dream Factory Challenge 
Thank you to Rosi for inviting me

The themes for this Challenge blog are based on Movies/TV Series and this month the Movie/Series is called Mia and Me.  You can take any aspect of the series to inspire your project.  This is quite an easy one as its full of elves, unicorns and fantasy things


This series is about a girl (Mia) who after the death of her parents is gifted a magical game made by her Father and she finds that through this she can travel to a Mystical Land called Centopia. In this land she takes on the form of a Fairy/Elf and finds herself in the company of Unicorns. Elves and an Evil Queen called Panthea.  The plot of the series is for Mia to save a race of Unicorns and and Entire World

For my card I decided to take my inspiration from Mia's character.  She is very pink and even has Pinky/Red colour hair

The image I used is called Flor from Cute Bee Digis.  I coloured her up like Mia in the series using Copics.  I added lots of sparkle to her (but its not that easy to see in the photo) I used a Clear Star Gel pen to sparkle her jewellery, the band around the middle of her dress and her wings

I then created a cloudy type background using Distress Inks

The sentiment is a clear stamp from Circa Designs and I thought it suited the plot perfectly

Gamer Dragon

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT card for Amanda Jayne Designs and there are so many fabulous new images landing in store on a daily basis, I am just so spoiled for choice!


For this card I have used this new image called Gamer Dragon 

I coloured him up using Copics and the sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs 

After I had already printed this one out Amanda added a wonderful Gaming Sentiment Digi Pack to the store but as I had already printed this one I couldn't change it.  Be sure to check out the sentiment pack in the store HERE

Mother's Day Bouquet

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT card for Amanda Jayne Designs 


For this card I have used this image which is part of the Mother's Day Sentiments Digi Stamp Bundle 

There are lots of options in this set to create so many lovely cards

I coloured the image with Copics and then used a Heart Stencil from Funky Fossil with a green Memento ink.  I added Polka Dots to the Bow using a White Gel Pen

Lilly Love Pierrot Challenge

Hi Everyone 

Here is my latest card and this image is this months Progressive Challenge Image over in the Moondrea Designs Facebook Group 

When I received this image to colour I was like "Mmmmm not really sure about this one!"

I was going to bottle it and choose a different one but I printed it out and decided to give it a go

Well this has to be the most Challenging image that I have coloured for months maybe even since the last time I coloured up an AuroraWings image which was a long time ago now.  I would say this image is definitely on par with one of those.  It is so good to challenge yourself every now and then and although this took me 5 hours I revisited some techniques that simpler images don't require.  Overall I am pretty pleased with how this turned out lol!

She is called Lilly Love Pierrot and if you want to practice pleats and hair then I urge you to have a go at colouring her!

I coloured her using Copics and added some sparkle to the swirl on her hat using a Clear Star Gel Pen

Butterfly Birthday Kisses

 Hi Everyone

 Here is my latest DT project for Conie Fong Art
 

 
On today's card I have used Butterfly Kisses which you can find in the Etsy store.  The DT are working on the optional theme of Birthdays this month and as it's both my Mum's and Mother-in-Laws Birthdays coming up it was a good excuse to get this one done!

I coloured her up using Copics and a Clear Star Glitter Pen (to add sparkle to the flower centres).  The sentiment is a clear stamp from Circa Designs

Mother's Day Easel Card

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT card for Amanda Jayne Designs and I am in Mother's Day Mode already with both of my cards made and ready to share with you this month


For this card I have used this image called Valentines Cow and although Amanda designed this one with Valentines in mind I just could not resist it for my Mum's Mother's Day Card as she will just love this cutie.  It just proves that these images are so versatile and can be used for so many more occasions than they were originally design for

It has been a while since I made either a shaped or easel card so for this one I decided to rectify that and made a circle easel card lol 

The Images I coloured using Copics and the digital sentiments you can also find in the store
