Weeping Angel

Good Evening Everyone

I have been busy this evening making my Hubby a Thank You Card.  I have had an operation recently and he has spent the last 2 weeks looking after our 3 children and playing nurse to me whilst I have been recuperating.  He has done a fantastic job and I wanted to say Thank you to him. This image is actually called Weeping Angel and is another of the fantastic Delicious Doodle images.  I thought it looked rather like a tired Angel which is how I thought my Hubby would be after 2 weeks.  He has surprised me!

I have kept this card quite simple as its a "Man's" card. I coloured the image using Promarkers.  I have used Lotv background papers from the Country Gent and The Bear Necessities paper packs.  The sentiment was hand stamped which seems to go great with the image and I finished off with a few Brown Pearl Gems just to add a little bit of Bling!!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges.

I hope you like this card and I hope my Hubby does too!!!
Please leave me comments I would love to know what you think.
Thanks for visiting and I look forward to seeing you again

Dragon Dreams

Hello Everyone

I have been busy today making this card up to share with you all.  The image is from Delicious Doodles and is called Dragon Dreams.  I had great fun colouring this and will try it again in the future in different colours. Fab design once again!  The lime green background paper was from the First Edition Up Up & Away paper pack and I layered this onto plain Green card.  I used an orange satin ribbon and hand tied the bow and then stamped a "Thank you" sentiment and mounted this onto orange card to match in with my colour scheme.
This card is made in advance for when my eldest son moves up a year at school.  He is in the Dragons class this year and I need to make a card for both his Teacher and his Teaching Assistant so there will definately be another dragon image/card on my blog very soon!

Pheebee Flutterbee

Hello to you all!

I found myself being able to craft earlier tonight and have created this card that I would love to share with you.
This is the first card that I have made using an Image from Sherri Baldy although I have purchased many of them so will indeed be making more.
I have made this card for a very brave friend of mine who will be going into hospital soon for an operation.  If she reads this blog she will know its her and the surprise will be ruined but I think I am safe from that until she has time on her hands recovering.
This card is A5 in size and the Sherri Baldy Image Pheebee Flutterbee has been coloured using promarkers.  The gorgeous background paper is part of the Hunkydory Sparkling Pearl Range.  I have used a Marianne Creatables flourish die and the butterfly is a mixture of 2 Memory Box dies that I layered up.  I finished off by adding pearls to paper flowers and a Get Well Soon Sentiment.

I hope that you enjoyed looking at this card as much as I did making it.  Please feel free to leave me comments and I hope that you will come back again soon

Christmas Carols

Hello Everyone

Christmas Crafting is my favourite and I would like to share this card I made today with you using The Paper Shelter - Christmas Carols Image.  Another fab design by this company.
This card is 7" x 7" size and I have layered Helz Cuppleditch Glittered Background Paper onto red card.  I used a Go Kreate Frilly Frame die to cut the image and layered this onto the same red and finished off with a Happy Christmas Ribbon and Sentiment, Poinsettias and Star Gems.  I coloured the image using promarkers.

I can't wait to try this image in different colours, so please check back to see this and other projects.  Thank you for visiting my blog, please feel free to leave me a comment and call back again soon

Unusual Friends!

Hello All

Hope you are all ok.  I had a lovely time at the Make It show in Farnborough earlier today and came back with some fabulous craft goodies!

I would like to share this card with you that I made today.  The image is called Unusual Friends from The Paper Shelter.  Once again a gorgeous design and they have so many more that I cannot wait to colour and make into cards.  This lovely cat and mouse image has been layered onto Hunkydory Paw Print Pink and Black Card which has then been mounted onto Silver Mirror card. I have used the Tiny's Heart Die and finished off with a Classic Friend Sentiment, Black and Pink Gems and a Pink Bow.
