Anything Goes with Steampunk Darcee

Hi Everyone

It's time for another Challenge at CCC Digi Creations.  This fortnight our theme is "ANYTHING GOES" and it would be fabulous if you would come over and join in with us.

We are being sponsored this time by My Stitch Back In Twine and the Image I used for my DT Card is called Steampunk Darcee.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.

 

For my card I used a 6" Square Card Blank and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Brown Shade.  The Background Paper is from Forever in Time's Vintage #1 paper pad.  I used a Brown Grosgrain Ribbon to make a border and added some Bronze Coloured Cogs.  To finish I added some Brown Pearl Gems.

Morgan's ArtWorld - Beachy Keen/Summertime

Hello Everyone

Welcome to another Challenge at Morgan's ArtWorld.  This fortnight the theme is Beachy Keen/Summertime.

I made a Birthday Card for a Family Member using the Image called Country Scene 5.

To make this card I coloured the image using ProMarkers and Graph'It Markers.  (I used 9 different shades of green to colour this image!)  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blue Shade.  The Patterned Papers are both from the LOTV Candles and Cake Paper Pad.  As this is for a Male I have kept it quite CAS with no frills and bows etc.  The Happy Birthday Sentiment is from stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad to stamp it up.

Monochrome in August!

Hi Everyone

It is getting soooo exciting now.  Less than a month to go before the First Challenge goes live at Unicorn Challenge Blog.  

It is my turn to share my creation with you for August so here it is!

I have used an Art By Miran Image and she is called Bashful Belinda.  As you may know I love colouring in Grey Scale/Monochrome and I couldn't resist a bit of this for her.  

I coloured her using my ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped and My Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Blackbird.  The Patterned Papers are all from Dovecrafts Monochrome Paper Pack.  I have added a Poka Dot Organza Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow and to finish added Pearl Gems.  I stayed away from my usual Flourishes and Flowers as I didn't want to hide her or lose her in all my usual foliage lol!

Fancy Fold Cuties!

Hi Everyone

There has been a new release at FabrikaFantasy Store.  The fabulous Dancing Squirrel is new in the store and what a Diva she is!  

For my latest card using these wonderful images I teamed her up with Happy Chipmunk and they are having one great Party!  

This card shape was one I saw a while ago by a very talented DT member in a challenge and I have wanted to have a go at it.  And it might look easy but it really wasn't!  I found it difficult to get the angles right but then I was never very good at that sort of thing at school lol!  I used a Bazzill Purple Shade to make the Card Shape and the patterned paper is from the Colourful Meadow Paper Pad.  Its a double sided paper and on the reverse has a wood effect.  I used the other side to decorate the back of the card (although I didn't take any photos!!)  I coloured the images using ProMarkers and as I couldn't find a punch that would look right all the way up the angle and across the top I made my own border from Purple Bows.  The "Lets party" Sentiment is from Stampingallday and the Verse is a Circa Design's Stamp.  Both were stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink pad.  To finish I added Silver and Purple Pearl Gems.  I have shown the card both stood up and laid flat and also taken pictures of each panel.

Pretty In Pink Flower Fairy

For this challenge we have two sponsors.  I have used  an image from All Dressed Up Stamps called Flower Fairy and I coloured it using ProMarkers.

 

For My Inspirational Card I used a 6" Square Card Blank and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics light Pink Shade.  The Embossed Glitter Card is from Hunkydory.  I Hand Stamped the Image using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I cut two Pink Flower Dies (I do not have the packaging so I cannot tell you whose die this is.)  I added Paper Flowers, Pearl Gems and some Clear Flower Gems to finish.

Purple Spring Flowers

 For my DT Inspiration, I used an image called "Spring Flowers" by Connie Fong and coloured it using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Light Purple Shade.  The Patterned Paper is from Paper Pack.  I used Wild Rose Studio's Oval Frame to cut out the image and then added Paper Flower/Roses.  To finish I added a Lilac Satin Bow and some Pearl Gems.
