Swimmingly Calypso

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

 

I am back using the new clear stamps and this gorgeous girl is called SN Gal Calypso and she is swimming along quite happily in her distress ink waves!!

I coloured the image using Copics and added the fish and the sentiment which you can also find in other sets in theSTORE

I also added some clear glaze to the pearls in her hair

Sparkle Moondrifter

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

 

I am still busily trying to get as many mermaids coloured up before the end of the month to play along in the extra challenge that is taking place in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group The minimum number is 20 but you can try and get 31 if you can.  Not sure how many I will get finished by the end of the month but I am still battling on lol

For this card I have used Sparkle Moondrifter  She actually comes with a couple of friends but I didn't include them in my scene.  I decided to give her a sparkly tail to go with her name.  I also used elements of the Ocean Background Builder Digi Sets and coloured them all up using Copics

Star Cow

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT card for Amanda Jayne Designs I am taking a break from Mermaid cards today but I still have quite a few more to share throughout the rest of this month so if you like my Mermaid cards then don't worry there are plenty still to come lol!

For this card I have used this image called Star Cow and coloured him up using Copics.  I kept this card monochrome and used Distress Ink and a cow pattern stencil from Glitzcraft

I made this card ready to give to my Son who has just started his GCSE's. He did great in his Mock Exams so am sure he will do just aswell in the real ones that he is sitting now. This card will be given to him no matter what the outcome lol!

Grumpy Mermaid

We are celebrating MerMay in style in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group where we are running two different challenges and also on instagram, so three chances to win this month!

Here is my reminder card using the Mermaid with Attitude from the new Mermee Emotions Clear Stamp Set and The Deep Background Builder Clear Set I don't think she is very impressed that her friends left her behind or maybe she is just a Grumpy Teen Mermaid!

Moon Glow Mermaid

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

 

I am continuing on with sharing my cards that feature the new clear stamps that were released at the weekend in celebration of MerMay.  If you haven't seen any of the projects using these fabulous stamps then please head to the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group where there is lots of inspiration from the talented DT

For this card I attempted a night scene.  The image is from the Any Fin is Possible Set and I coloured this up using Copics.  I took my inspiration from Amy Young as she has one similar which she did quite a few years ago now. You can check out her amazing projects on her blog HERE 

I wanted to practice my moon glow over the water.  I still think it needs more practice but I am quite happy with how it turned out.  I coloured this whole scene using Copics and added some water splashes using a white gel pen

Underwater Cave Scene

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

 

It is this years MerMay clear release today and I am so so excited to be sharing my card with you for the Instahop that is on this weekend to celebrate.  You can head to my Instagram account HERE and you will find all the details.  All the cards will also be shared in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group so if you are not on Instagram please check the fabulous cards out over there from the talented DT

This card features elements from three of the new sets.  The underwater cave is from the new Background Builder - The Deep set.  The gorgeous Mermaid is from the Any Fin is Possible Set and the little seahorses are from the Something's Fishy Set.  All the clear stamps mix and match so well together that you can make any scene your imagination desires

I have coloured this whole scene using Copics and I added glaze to the pearls in her hair but I am not sure that this shows up too well in the photo

MerMay 2024 Clear Review

 Hi Everyone

Here is my latest DT creation for Sweet November Stamps

 

 

 

If I am here with a card featuring a past Mermaid clear stamp then that can only mean that next Saturday is the Mermay Clear Release.  I am soooooo excited.  This and the Halloween are my two favourite Sweet November Clear Releases.  I just Love them!!!!

The Mermees are Back clear stamp set was my absolute favourite of the MerMay clear releases last year and so I just had to use one of those gorgeous girls with her lighthouse for my review card.  I have coloured this whole scene using Copics and a White Gel Pen

The sentiment is another clear stamp but you can find it in the Royal Treatment Set

A Wish and a Splash

Its May and this is one of my Favourite Months in my crafting world as all those Mermaids come out and my feeds are full of them

This is my final reminder for this month for the Anything Goes/Pink Challenge that is happening now in the Friends of Sweet November Facebook Group

I decided to make the Pink stand out for this card rather than add lots of pink over the whole image.  It has been a while since I coloured Monochrome and it was fun to revisit this technique

The Gnome image is called Li'l Gnomie Gnaomi and I used the wall from the Castle Scene Builder Digi Set to create this scene

Gaming Life of a 12 Year Old

Hi Everyone

I am here to share with you the card I have made for my Youngest Son's Birthday which is on Friday this week!  He is a gamer like so many 12 year olds and so this image was totally perfect.  He is always saying "Gaming is my Life" when we tell him to go out and get some fresh air and get off the screen lol

I coloured it up using Copics and used some alphabet/number peel offs to add the 123 go to the TV screen

April Showers Cow

I have some very exciting news to share you with you!!!  I was asked by Amanda, Owner and Artist of Amanda Jayne Designs to join her Design Team.  I am beyond thrilled to have been asked and so here is my first DT project.

For this card I have used this image called April Showers Cow and coloured him up using Copics

I went with Pastel colours as that is the theme for this months challenge which you can enter in the Amanda Jayne Designs Facebook Group  In order to enter you just need to make a project using one of her cute images and then add it to the Challenge Post in the group
