A Clucky Reminder

Hi Everyone

It's time for a bit of inspiration from me from the Digi Doodle Store
along with a shout out about this months challenge over on the blog.

I have a card to share with you which features some of the elements that you can find in the Gossip Chicks Pairables Set.  These are no longer available as digis but you can buy them HERE as clear stamps
Our Challenge theme over on the Blog this month is Boys To Men so we want to see your Male themed creations.  I have made a card for my Nephew whose birthday is in the summer.
 
You have until 28th June to enter this challenge which means there is only one week left!

You do not have to use a DDS Image to enter the challenge but the prize is greater if you do!

Feeling Foul

 Hi Everyone

I am here with another project using Gossip Chicks Pairables from Digi Doodle Studios
 

These are no longer available as Digis but you can you buy them as clear stamps from Ink n' Splatter
 
This time I have also used the papers designed to go with this set called Clucker Clacker Digi Paper Pack 
 
I popped the chicken, basket and bucket together and used two of the sentiments that are in the set.  The images are coloured using Copics

Maisy in Pink

 Hi Everyone

Here is my second inspiration project this month for Conie Fong Art & Design 

I have again made a card using the cute mice that were released in May.  I think these are so cute.  I have used Maisy on her own this time with the other sentiment that comes in the set.

You can find the image in store as part of the Maisy and Cory Mice Bundle
 
I coloured the image using Copics and added a touch of sparkle to the frill on her dress using a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen

Do You Know What a Selkie is?

 Hi Everyone
 
In answer to my above title question, I had never heard of one before.  I had to google what they were and where they originated from.  
 
"Selkie" means Seal Folk
 
The ones that came up on google were really quite ugly and a bit scary whereas this one from Sweet November Stamps is just a cutie.  This Image is called The Selkie and she was a freebie in this months newsletter.  I have coloured her and created a background using Copics and techniques from Adventures in Colouring with Amy 
 
For a first attempt at a sky like this and waves using a different technique than I have previously learnt I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

Lavender Welly

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage 
 

The theme for this month is Anything Goes and it's our special challenge dedicated to Eileen who was the original owner of the blog.  Most of the team are still the same ones that joined her originally and she is still missed by us very much.
 
The general cancer ribbon colour is Lavender so the DT are adding a Lavender Ribbon and/or Bow to their creations in memory of Eileen
 
For my DT card I have used this image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps called Scene It Rain Boot Bugs and I have coloured it up using Copics.  The sentiment is a clear stamp from Stamping all day and I added the all important Lavender Ribbon and Bow.
 
I made this card for a Crafty Friends Birthday.

Poultry in Motion

 Hi Everyone

I get to work with these cute Chickens this month for my post for Digi Doodle Studios 

This was in the store as a pairables digi set but since I made the card this has been discontinued BUT you can now buy it as a clear stamp from Digi Doodle Studios Sister Company Ink n' Splatter. You can find them HERE
 
I decided to take one of the sentiments in the set and enlarge it so it filled up most of the card.  I then dotted some of the chickens onto it.
 
The images are all coloured using Copics
 
I have a couple more cards throughout June using this set so please pop back and check them out.

Pink Angel Wishes

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at The Fairy and the Unicorn Challenge 

The theme as always is Anything Goes as long as its Fantasy themed.

Here is my DT card and I have used Angel Wishes from Conie Fong Art 

I have coloured the angel using Copics and added sparkle to her wings using a clear star gelly roll pen

The clouds I created by using Distress Inks and a cloud die.  The sentiment is a clear stamp and I used the Distress ink to stamp that too.

Glittery Cows for Eileen

 Hi Everyone
 
Today is the start of this months challenge over at  CCC Digi Creations 
 
 
The theme for this month is a special one for the DT as it is in memory of the original owner and my friend Eileen.  It's Anything Goes but the DT will add a lavender ribbon or bow to their projects in memory of Eileen

I have used these gorgeous cows from Digi Doodle Studios. These unfortunately are not available as Digis anymore but have been turned into clear stamps which you can find in the Ink n' Splatter Store HERE  I coloured them with Copics and made their patches glittery.  I added the all important Lavender Ribbon and hand tied a bow!

Superhero in Training

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Unicorn Challenge 


The theme for this month is For a Baby/Child

I have a 9 year old Son who does Martial Arts and likes to keep a record of how many training sessions and other fitness sessions he does, so I made him a notebook and matching page marker.  He loves writing in this every time he does something.

I used Super Hero Andy from Pink Gem Designs and coloured them up the same using Copics.

The background paper is a digital paper from DigitalPrintableMe I fussy cut the images after I coloured them and glued them on.  I typed the title on the laptop at the time of printing.

Lighthouse Scene

 Hi Everyone

It is the start of this months challenge over at Pearly Sparkles today


The theme for this month is For The Men/Boys

For this project I stepped away from my normal cutsey style and coloured up this lighthouse scene which is from a Kit and Clowder Colouring Class.  This is just perfect for my Mum's partners birthday which is later in the year.  He likes scenery like this lol!

The whole scene is coloured using Copics, a white gel pen and a white pencil.

Hetty Clare's Pony

 Hi Everyone

Today is the start of this months challenge over at Crafty Animals.
 

As always the theme is Anything Goes as long as you include an animal on your project

For my DT card I have used this image called Ice Cream Pony from Hetty Clare 

I have coloured the image using Copics.  I am not a horsey person at all but I was asked to make this by my friend for a special little girl.

I found the horseshoe digi paper on etsy in a shop called Little Panda Digitals
 
I typed the sentiment at the time of printing the image.  I used a Memory Box Alphabet die to cut the DAISY in green glitter card and the 7 today is a die from Robert Addams.
