Wee Wedding!

Hi Everyone

It's time for a new Challenge at Craft Rocket Challenges 

The theme for the next two weeks is Weddings and Things.  This theme can include Engagement, Anniversary etc.  We would love it if you would come and join in with us.

For My DT Card I have made a Wedding Card using an image called Love Me Do and I coloured it using ProMarkers.  

The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Pink Shade.  The Patterned Paper is from Scrap and Craft.  I used Lace and String Drop Pearls to decorate this card.  The Sentiment is from Hunkydory and to finish I added some Pearl Hearts.

Little Blue Teddy

Good Morning Everyone

It is the start of a New Challenge over at Creative Craft Cottage

The theme for the next fortnight is Layer It Up.  We would love to see what you create so please come and play along with us.  We have some great sponsors too so that means great prizes!

One of the sponsors for this challenge is All Dressed Up Stamps.  The Image I chose to work with is called I Love My Teddy and I coloured him using ProMarkers

I used a sketch which I saw that looked like it had lots of layers on it.  It is the current challenge sketch at Live and Love Crafts

For my DT card I used a 7" Scalloped Square Card and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blue shade.  The Patterned Papers are from LOTV.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday and I added a Blue Satin Ribbon Bow, Pearl Gems and some Clear Teddy Gems

Crazy GD Lady

Hi Everyone

I was so pleased to see that I was made The Top 3 at The Crazy Challenge.  If you don't know what that means then let me tell you.  That means that I very lucky because I get to GD for two of their challenges!  Thank you to Em and the team for inviting me.

The theme for the next fortnight is R is for......

What a fun challenge theme!  I went for Rabbit, Red, Roses & Ribbon.

For my GD card for this challenge I used one of my favourite images from Di's Digistamps and it is called Rose Bloom Bunny.  I coloured it using ProMarkers.   I used a 6" Square Card Blank and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Pomegranate Shade,  the patterned papers are from LOTV.  I used a Spellbinders Oval die to cut and layer the image.  I have added a Red Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  I popped on some Red Roses/Buds and then used a X-Cut Butterfly Punch and then added some Red Pearl Gems to finish.

The Fun Has Arrived!!!

Today is the first ever challenge at Creative Sketchy Girls

I did say that working with sketches was one of my New Year's Resolutions this year so no excuse now I am on the Design Team with some extremely talented crafters.

We are being sponsored by Sheepski Designs and the image I chose to work with is called Lilly

I coloured her using ProMarkers

So its simple to play along all you have to do is follow the sketch each month.

 Here is the one for the first challenge and my card is next to it so you can see what I did.

For my DT card I used a 6" Scalloped Square Card Blank.  My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Purple shade and the Patterned Papers are from Wild Rose Studio.  I cut the image using a X-Cut Circle and then cut a Scalloped Circle using a Spellbinders Die and layered the image onto it.  The sentiment I hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I used Paper Flowers and added Pearl Gems and Clear Gems to finish.

How Old?

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges.  The theme for the next two weeks is For a Man/Boy.  It would be great to visit your blogs and see your Masculine creations.

For my DT Inspiration card this time I made a 70th Birthday Card.  I used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called Gus Birthday - Recount.  I coloured this using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and My Base/Frame Layer is an adorable scorable card.  The Patterned Papers are both from the same Paper Pad by Galeria Paperiu called Beautiful Mind. The Happy 70th Sentiment is from Stampingallday and the other one came with the Bugaboo Image.  I finished by adding Brown Pearl Gems.

Black & White Reindeer!

For my card I went CAS Style as I thought the image was really cute and should be the focus.  I coloured it using ProMarkers and layered it onto some Blackbird Bazzill card.  The Sentiments I stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  Both are from Stampingallday.

Rhyme Time!

Today brings the start of a new challenge at Unicorn Challenge.

The theme for this Month is Inspired by a Nursery Rhyme/Fairy Tale.  Please come on over and join in with us.

I had such a lot of fun making my DT inspiration card for this challenge.  I used an image called Pretty Fish Bubbles Friends Sea Life from KJ Arting and I coloured it with ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" square and My Base/Frame Layers are Bazzill Basics.  The Wave Card is from Hunkydory.  I typed up the Rhyme words on the PC.  I added Dew Drops too.  I then decided that I had would add a bit more so I did the next bit of the rhyme inside and coloured the image again.

Christmas Flowers

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Dragonfy Dreams.

The theme for this month is Say It With Flowers.  We are being sponsored for this challenge by Fred She Said and the image I chose to work with is called Poinsettia and Holly (Uncoloured) and I coloured this with ProMarkers and then coloured another flower and layered it on top to create a 3d effect.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layers are Bazzill Basics.  The Patterned Paper is from Wild Rose Studio. The verse is from Circa Designs.  I distressed the edges of both the verse and the image using Green Shimmer Chalk.  I cut 3 Poinsettias using Robert Addams Poinsettia Die and added Yellow Clear Flower Gems to the centres.  I finished by adding a couple of yellow pearls to the Poinsettias on the patterned paper.

Chic and Monochrome

Its is the start of a new challenge today over at CCC Digi Creations

The Theme for the next two weeks is Anything Goes.  We have some great sponsors, one of which is The Paper Shelter.  This image is called Lovely and Chic and I coloured it using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to it. 

 The card size is approx 6 " and the this and the layers were cut using my Go Kreate Circles Die.  The Patterned Paper is from the Black Charm Paper Pad.  The Image was cut out using a Spellbinders Decorative Circle Die.  I used a Tatttered Lace Flourish Die which I cut out from Black Card.  I added a Black Satin Bow and a White Feather.  I decorated it with paper flowers, some Pearl Flowers and Black Pearl Gems.  The sentiment was stamped and punched using a Circle Punch and layered onto a black scalloped circle which I cut using a Spellbinders Die.
