A Girl's Favourite!

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge today over at Craft Rocket Challenges.

The theme for the next fortnight is something that every Girl should have.  It's Pink and Pearlie time, so please come on over and join in with us.  We would love to see your creations.

For my DT card I used an image from Hannah Lynn called Butterflies of Hope and I coloured her using ProMarkers.  It has been a while since I coloured up a Hannah Lynn Digi and I have totally missed them!

I used a Bazzill Basics Dark Pink and Romace Card for my Base/Frame Layers.  The Pink Spotty Paper is from a Santoro Paper Pack.  I decided to go for a fairly CAS look for this and decided not to add die cut butterflies.  I didn't want to take anything away from this gorgeous image.  I just added Pink Pearl Gems to finish.

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this card with me.  I really enjoyed colouring this image up and I am hoping to colour it up again, Frame It and hang it on the wall.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Let your Hair Down

Hi Everyone

Here we are again.  The weeks go by so quickly!  It's time for a new challenge at Creative Craft Cottage.

The theme for the the next two weeks is Feminine.  A nice easy one!!  We have two sponsors for this challenge, both offering great prizes so please come on over and join in with us.

One of the sponsors is Sassy Studio Designs  and the image I chose to work with is called Rapunzel Sassy

I coloured the image using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Lilac Shade. I cut an Oval using my Spellbinders Grand Ovals Die and used it as a mount over/around the image.  I used a Marianne Craftables  Die which I cut in the Lilac colour and decorated this with Pink Paper Flowers.  I added a Purple Satin Bow and finished with Pearl Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and sharing this feminine beauty with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

GD at Crafting By Designs

Hi Everyone

I was so thrilled to be spotlighted at Crafting By Designs a few weeks ago.  I was then invited to be a Guest Designer for the new challenge starting today so here I am!  Thank you to Doris and the Team for inviting me.

The theme for the challenge is Get Ready For Christmas.  As you all know I love Christmas Crafting so I was excited with this theme.

For my GD card I used a Stampavie Stamp by Laurence called Tobi's Christmas Cuddle.  I stamped this using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad and coloured it using ProMarkers.

The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics.  The Patterned Papers are all from Wild Rose Studio.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I used a Robert Addams Poinsettia Dies to cut the flowers and a Papermania Daisy Punch for the Yellow Centres then added a Yellow Pearl Gem to each one.  I finished by adding some Red Pearl Gems.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this card with me.  Please come on over and join in the Christmas challenge at the blog.  I love reading your comments so please feel free to let me know what you think of this card.  Hope to see you again soon.

Sweet Verity

Hi Everyone

I just couldn't resist this cute little girl when I saw her on the Funky Kits site.  This image is called Verity and I adore her!

I coloured her using Promarkers and I followed the sketch layout at Cheerful Sketches which I thought was a lovely design.

One of my News Years Resolutions was to take part in more sketch Challenges to broaden by design ideas.  Not taken too long lol!!

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blue Shade and the Patterned Paper is from the Back to Basics Range.  I used my Spellbinders Grand Ovals Dies to cut and layer the image.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I added Flowers/Paper Roses, a Blue Satin Bow and finished with Blue Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I had great fun colouring this image and making this card.  Thank you for visiting today and sharing it with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Favourite Colours at Craft Rocket!

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge at Craft Rocket Challenges.

The theme for the next fortnight is Favourite Colour Combo.  If you are a regular to my Blog you will know that Black and White is mine.  I would love to see what colours you all like so please come on over and play along with us.

For my DT Inspiration Card I used a Tilda Stamp called Tilda with Ribbons.  I adore this Tilda stamp.  I inked her up using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I coloured her using ProMarkers and then cut her out using a Spellbinders Decorative Circle Die.  I then cut a Black Circle using a X-Cut Circle Die to layer her onto.  The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Blackbird Bazzill Basics Card.  The Patterned Papers are from the Black Charm Paper Pad.  I have used a few different things to fancy up this card including Black Lace and White Feathers.  I added some Pearl Flowers down the side and some Paper Flowers.  To finish I added Black Pearls to the Flower Centers and added some White Pearl Hearts.

I had a great time making this card.  I hope you like it, please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

The MIghty Wizard

Hi Everyone

Here is the latest release from Fabrika Fantasy.  This gorgeous image is called Mighty Wizard

Visit the store to find this and the other great images that are on offer.

I coloured this image using ProMarkers and added some magical glitter!  Not really traditional Wizard Colours but I like to be different!!

The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Pomegranate shade.  The patterned paper is from my stash.  I didn't want to add lots of things to this card so that the image would be the main focal point so I just stamped a sentiment from Stampingallday.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges
Let's Craft and Create - Card for a Man
Crafty Boots - Use a Sentiment
Dream Valley Challenges - Anything Goes
Crafting For All Seasons - Tic Tac Toe (Sparkle, Digi Stamp, Backing Paper)
