I need to let you all know that this is my last challenge with them.  I have had a great time being in the team and they are a lovely bunch of talented people.  I wish them every success with their challenges for the future and I will be playing along too!

The theme for this fortnight is Anything Goes + a Sentiment.  There is still time to enter your fabulous projects.  We are being sponsored by Lacy Sunshine Stamps and the image I chose to work with is called Rory's Wished Granted  I made another Easel pen and notebook gift for one of my children's teachers.  My daughter is in Wizards class so this is perfect for her teacher.

I coloured the image using ProMarkers and used Dovecraft Glitters.  The Card size is 8" Square and I used a Purple Adorable Scorable Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  The Star Paper is from Galeria Papieru.  I so love their papers.  I used a couple of different dies.  They are Memory Box Precious Stars and Tattered Lace Cherished Flourish.  I added purple and green pearl gems to decorate.

Sepia Sunbonnet!

Hi Everyone

Its time for Mid Month Inspiration over at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog

The Theme for this fortnight is Bingo and here is the Bingo Board.  You can choose any 3 things in a line either across, down or diagonally and don't forget the Sentiment!

My Line is across the middle (Ribbon, Digi, Flowers)  Please come on over and play along with us there is still plenty of time!
We are being sponsored this time by My Artistic Adventures who produce printable collage sheets.  Unfortunately I was unable to use one of their fabulous sheets as my Printer cannot cope with printing anything colour.  It's really old and I just end up with lines all over the image.  It copes nicely with black and white outlines so I am ok for Digi Stamps lol.

As our sponsor produces mostly vintage style sheets I decided to try and keep my card along the same lines so I went for a bit of Sepia Colouring.  The Image I used is from Bugaboo and is called  Fancy Sunbonnet - Christmas Stuff.  I coloured up a different version of this cutie a couple of weeks ago, I love these images.  I coloured the Image using ProMarkers and then cut her using a Spellbinders Grand Oval Die and layered her onto some Bazzill Fawn.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square Scallop and My Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Fawn.  The Patterned Paper is from Lili of the Valley's Krafty Christmas Paper Pad.  I added a Brown Grosgrain Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow. The sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I cut the Poinsettia's using Robert Addams Poinsettia Die.  To finish I added Pearl and Clear Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges
Crafts Galore Encore Challenge - Use a Stamp Or Digi
Simply Papercraft - Anything Goes
Lil Patch of Crafty Friends - Anything Goes
Create and Inspire - Anything Goes
Crafty Girls Creations - Anything Goes

For My DT Inspiration I used a 7" Square Card Blank and then used a Silver Mirror Card then a Red Pomegranate for the layering.  I coloured the image using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to the furry bits!  The patterned paper is from Wild Rose Studio's Painted Poinsettia's paper pack.  I cut the Oval frame using Spellbinders Grand Oval dies.  The Poinsettia's I cut using Robert Addams Poinsettia Die.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday.  I finished off by adding a Satin Bow and Red Pearl Gems.

Thanks with Morgan's ArtWorld

Hi Everyone

Its time for another challenge over at Morgan's ArtWorld.  The Theme for this fortnight is Thanks or Thankful.  Please come on over and see what the talented team have created for your inspiration and join in with us.

For my Inspirational Card this time I have used Morgan's Valentine 1 image and I coloured this using ProMarkers.  You can find more of Morgan's Images here.

Here is what I used to make my card.  The Card Blank is 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Yellow shade.   I added a Yellow Gingham Bow and Yellow Pearl Gems.  I didn't want to add patterned papers and loads of other bits and take the focus away from this lovely Image.  I love two tone roses!

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon

Lots of Pearls!

Hi Everyone

Its time for a new challenge over at Craft Rocket Challenges   The Theme for this fortnight is Pearls/Gems.  We would like to see some of these on your creations!

For my DT Card I would like to share with you the Birthday Card that I made for a friends 40th!  It's not the card I had originally planned for her in my head but when I made this one up I thought that she would really like it.  The Image is from AuroraWings and is called Woman in Strands of Pearls.  I coloured her using ProMarkers and added lots of Pearl Gems ranging from 1mm to 4mm in size. (around 300) It was a task and a half but I am so pleased with the result.

My Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Brown shade and the Patterned Paper is from Papermania's Bellisima Paper Pack.  I added a Satin Purple Ribbon and laid a strip of White lace over the top of it. I then put a row of string pearl drops along the edge of the lace.  The Happy 40th Sentiment is from Stampingallday and I stamped this using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added Paper Flowers to decorate and stripped the petals from a Baby's Breath just to leave the Pearl Spray bit!  To finish I popped on a Satin Bow and a few more Pearls (Purple ones this time)

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Christmas is Coming over at Unicorn Challenge Blog!

Hi Everyone

Its the start of a New Challenge over at Unicorn Challenge Blog.  The Theme this month is "Christmas is Coming!".  It would be great if you would join in and show us your Christmas Creations.

I decided to make my Mum and her Partner their Christmas Card.  It's so hard to get a nice card in the shops that says Mum and Partner so I bought the sentiment stamps from Stampingallday and made this.
The Image is a Penny Johnson Stamp and is called "Kiss Me".  I stamped the Image using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad and coloured it with ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Gold Mirror Card.  The Holly Patterned Paper is from the DoCrafts Little Red Robin Paper Pack and the Robin Couple Paper is from Helz Cuppleditch.  I cut a Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish in Green and then used Robert Addams Poinsettia Die and put this onto it.  I added a Green Happy Christmas Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  To finish I added Green Pearl Gems in two different sizes.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Thank you for sharing this card with me and visiting my blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think and pop on over to Unicorn Challenge Blog and share your Christmas Creations with us.  Hope to see you again soon.

Skully Mermaid Easel

Hi Everyone

Its time for a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.

The theme for this fortnight is anything goes and we are being sponsored by the fabulous Aurora Wings.

The Image I have used is called Evil Goth Mermaid w/Skull.  I coloured her using ProMakers and used a Gelly Roll Pink Glitter Pen to add some sparkle to her Tail (Can't seem to get the photo to show this though!)  I cut her out using a Craft Knife and mounted her on the Sea background which I created using Brushos!  I love playing with them lol!  The Card Size is an 8" Square which I made into an Easel.  This is the first time that I have made an easel card with the image "Popping" above the base. I usually make a full square and use that as the top bit of my card. (Think that made sense!!)
I have used a Bazzill Bling as my Base/Frame Layer and the Patterned Paper which I thought looked like scales (??) is from Dovecraft Back to Basics Paper Pack.  The dies I have used for the seaweed is actually a Cheery Lynn Mistletoe Die!  The Shells which make a great stopper are from the beach down the road, my children collected them when we went for a walk in the summer holidays.  To finish I added White Pearls.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me. Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon

Hot Couple

Hi Everyone

Its that time again! The New Challenge has started over at Through The Purple Haze Challenges.

The Theme for this month is Cold Outside/Hot Inside.  There are many ways to interpret this theme I chose to go with a hot looking couple and make an engagement card.  We are being sponsored by the fabulous Kenny K and the image I chose to work with is called Hug.  I coloured it using ProMarkers.  The card shape I cut using a Sizzix Scalloped Heart Die from a 6" Square Card Blank.  I used a Red Bazzill Basics as the next layer and then the Patterned Paper is from a Wild Rose Studio Paper Pack.  Both Sentiments are from stamping all day.  I added a White Satin Bow and some Crystal Heart Gems to finish.

I hope you like my lovable creation!  Thank you for visiting my blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.
