Non Traditional Fancy Sunbonnet

Hi Everyone

I was so delighted to be invited to be a Guest Designer for Scrapping4funChallenges.

I would like to say a Huge Thank you to Rachelle and the team for having me.
The Theme for this fortnight is Non Traditional Christmas Colours.  Please come on over to the blog and play along.

The Image I used is from Bugaboo and is called Fancy Sunbonnet - Christmas and I coloured it using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Dark Storm.  I then layered a Bazzill Basics Blue shade onto this and then the Patterned Paper (Which I think is from Trimcraft)  I cut the Poinsettia's using Robert Addams Poinsettia Die, added a Blue Bow and finished with Pearls and Clear Gems.

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this Christmas Card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I do appreciate you leaving them!  Hope to see you again soon.

Monochrome Clown

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all ok today.  I found myself playing along in the Sweet Pea Stamps Progressive Challenge.  I have never taken part in one of these before and its such fun.  Part one was Anything Goes using any image and then the 2nd Part is Anything Goes using the Image that they send you (Thank you Denise for this!) and everyone else that entered part 1.  It is such fun not knowing what image you will get and then seeing all the different ways that this image is used by all the other entrants.  Anyway enough of my excitement.  The Image that we were sent for Part 2 is called A Clown For you and is by the talented artist Katerina Koukiotis.  You can find this image here.

I decided to make a Monochrome Card as I love colouring Grey Scale.  I coloured it using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Blackbird.  I used Gingham Card and stamped the sentiment which is from Stampingallday using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added a Polka Dot Bow, Black Gems and some White Pearl Gems to finish.

I would like to enter this into the following Challenges

I hope you like my card using this fabulous Image.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Wise Dragon Easel

Hi Everyone

There is another New Release over at FabrikaFantasy.
It is so fabulous, please visit the store and check it out along with all the other Digi Stamps available.

This new beauty is called Wise Dragon and as soon as I saw it I knew it was a perfect Image for a Christmas Present for my Eldest Son's Teacher!  I have decided this Christmas the Teacher Presents will be Notebook and Pens so here is the first one (I will have another 6 of these to make!!)

I used a 7" Card Blank and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Purple Shade.  I coloured the Image using ProMarkers.  The Patterned Paper is from Dovecraft's Back to Basics Paper Pack.  I cut two Book Dies using a Sizzix Die in Green and Olive Green.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad to stamp this.  I added Purple Ribbon to both the top and the bottom and Hand Tied a Bow.  To finish I added Purple Pearl Gems.

I would like to enter this into the following Challenges

FabrikaFantasy are sponsoring the current challenge at Creatalicious Challenges .  If you would like to be in with a chance of winning some of their fabulous Images then why not pop over to the challenge blog and play along.

Hugs!

Hi Everyone

It's the start of a new challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.  The theme for this fortnight is Anything Goes.  Please come on over and join in with us.

We have two sponsors for this challenge I was given this fabulous Image from Faery Ink to work with.  It's called Sisterly Love and you can find it here.

I coloured it using ProMarkers.  I kept the card quite simple as I thought the Image was just way to cute to get overpowered.  Although this is called Sisterly Love I think it would be a great card for a Daughter to give to her Mother or vice Versa or even to a best friend.  I thought the sentiment which is from Stampingallday was just perfect for this image!  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and I used a Bazzill Basics Brown Shade as my Base/Frame Layer.  The Patterned Paper is from a Lili of the Valley Paper Pad.  I added a Pink Satin Bow and Brown Pearl Gems to finish.

Thank you for sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think, I love reading them.  Hope to see you again soon.

Spooky Treat Bag

Hi Everyone

Its time for the Mid Month Inspiration over at Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog.  The theme for this fortnight is Halloween.

We are being sponsored for this challenge by Doodle Pantry.  The Image I was kindly given to work with is called Spooky Wreath.  I coloured it using ProMarkers.  The Sentiment was also included with the Digi Image.

I decided to make a Treat Bag for when we get the Trick Or Treaters around this year.  My Daughter has already decided that this is her bag to give the sweets out from lol!  I used a Yellow Bazzill Basics card as my Base/Frame Layer and the Yellow Spot Paper is from my stash.  I die cut the Pumpkins using a Cottage Cutz die, added a bright Yellow Ribbon and Black Bows to finish.

Thank you for visiting my blog today and sharing this Treat Bag with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Football Mad!

Hi Everyone

I would like to share with you a card I have made ready for my Son's 8th Birthday at the end of this month.  I made a football card for him last year and nothing has changed, he is still football mad so I found a different image and set about making this one ready for this years birthday!  The Image is from Bugaboo and is called Bugaboo Brat Sports - Soccer Boy.  I coloured it with ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Blue Shade.  The Football Background card is from Buzzcrafts.  The next Blue and Read Layers are Bazzill Basics and the spotty card is from my Stash.  The sentiment is made up of 3 different stamps which are from Stampingallday and I die cut the 8 Today using a Robert Addams Number and Word Die.  I added the die cut footballs which are a sizzix die to finish.

Halloween Cat

Hi Everyone

Exciting News!!!!!!!  There have been two new releases at FabrikaFantasy.  They are both Halloween Images.  One is a Devilish Dog and the other which you can see on my card below is a Cat Witch.  Visit the store to find these and all the other cute images.

FabrikaFantasy are also sponsoring Scrapping4funChallenges this fortnight.  The theme is Pumpkins.  If you would like the chance to win some of the amazing images in the store then please go over to the challenge and join in.

I made a large card, the Card Blank is an 8" Square and I coloured the image using ProMarkers.  I added glitter to the witches star and the buckle on her hat.  I created the magical background using Brushos.  I just bought these and I love playing with them seeing what happens when you use different colours together.  The Patterned Papers are a digital download from an Etsy Store.  I find it really hard to find papers that are suitable for Halloween.  I have used Tonic Star Trail Die Cuts and the Pumpkins I cut using a CottageCutz Die.  The sentiment is a wooden stamp I have from DRS Designs.  To finish this card I added some Star Gems.

Snowy Husband Card

Hi Everyone

I would like to share the card I have made for my Husband for Christmas.  I have never had alot of luck with Acetate but I thought I would have another try at using it.  I am pleased with how this has turned out.  The image is from Kenny K and is called Mistletoe.  I coloured this with ProMarkers and cut her out using a craft knife.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Silver Mirror Card.  The next layer is a Bazzill Basic Blackbird.  The foiled snowflake card is from Hunkydory and the Snowfall Acetate is also from Hunkydory.  The sentiment is from stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad to stamp this.  For the snowy mound I used a Spellbinders Oval die and cut it down to look like a hill.

Thanks for visiting my blog and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I love reading them.  Hope to see you again soon.

Gift Bag & Tag

Hi Everyone

Its time for a new Challenge over at CCC Digi Creations.  The theme for this fortnight is "Tag It"  Please come on over and join in with us.
We are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps.  We were kindly given a choice of Image to work with and I chose this cute little mouse.  It's called Angel Bell and I coloured it up (both times lol) using ProMarkers.  I thought to maximise this gorgeous Image I would make a Gift Bag and Matching Tag.  I have never made one of these before!  I used Gold Encapsulated Glitter Card as my Base/Frame Layer on the bag and then layered the Tartan Paper which is from A Letter To Santa Paper Pack.  I added a Gold Lurex Bow and Red Clear Gems.  For the tag I actually used a red chalk to colour around the image and take some of the whiteness of the tag. Its quite faint so I don't think this shows up in the photos.  I threaded a Gold Bow onto some Tinselly Twine and then tied this onto the tag.  And that 's about it!!

Thank you for visiting today and sharing this creation with me!  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Santa's Magic Key

Hi Everyone

Its time for the Midway Inspiration at Aud Sentiments Challenge.
There is still plenty of time for you to join in, we would love to see your Christmas Creations.

The theme is Let's get started on Christmas Projects + Sentiment.  We are being sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps for this Challenge and the Image I chose to work with is called Really Good.   The Sentiment came with the image too!  I made a Santa's Magic Key Project.  I thought the Littlest Mouse looked like she had been so good she deserved to be given Santa's Magic Key to hang out on Christmas Eve!  To make this I glued two 6" Square Card Blanks together and then used a Gold Encapsulated Glitter Card as my Base/Frame Layer and then used both the Red and Green Holly Papers from Wild Rose Studio's Holly Lane Paper Pack.  I coloured the Image using ProMarkers.  The Magic Key Verse I found on the Internet and typed it up.  There were several versions of it but I liked this one the best.  For the Key Page I Stamped the Magic Key Sentiment several times and then heat embossed with Red WOW Powder.  I punched two square holes using my X-Cut Punch and tied the ribbon with the Key Charm on through these.  To finish I added Red Bows and Red Pearl Gems to this project.  I had such fun making this and it was this cute Image that gave me the idea!

I hope you liked my creation and Thank you for stopping by and sharing it with me.  Hope to see you again soon.
