Baby Bluebells!

Hi Everyone

This is my final project as Guest Designer for I Love ProMarkers Challenge.  I have had a great time and want to say thanks again to the team for letting me join them for the month of September.

The challenge theme for this week is "Masculine"  Please come on over and join in with the challenge and see what the very talented team have made to inspire you this time.

My card is a New Baby Card and the Image is one I purchased from Sweet Pea Stamps and is by Katerina Koukiotis and is called Blue Bells Baby Fairy.  I coloured the image using ProMarkers.  I added Blue Shimmer Chalk to the background around the image.  (Not sure if the photo shows this)

The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Blue Adorable Scorable.  The Spotty Card is from my Stash!  I added a Blue Grosgrain Riibbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday and I stamped this using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  To finish I added some Blue Buttons and a Sparkly Blue Heart!

Thanks for sharing my last GD Card with me.  I hope you like it.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think!  Hope to see you again soon.

Lollipop Birthday Wishes

Hi Everyone

I have a special card to share with you today.  My Little Girl will be 6 in December and this is the card that I have made ready for her.  When I saw this Image it just reminded me of her so much I had to buy it!

The Image is by Julia Spiri and is called Sweet Girl with Lollipop.  This is the first of her images that I have bought and it definitely won't be the last.  I coloured this cutie up using ProMarkers.

The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Romance.  The Spotty Paper is from the Sprinkle Pastel Paper Pad by GaleriuPapieru.  I sooo love their Paper Pads!  The Lacy Border Die is from Joanna Sheen and is called Isobel Lace Border.  I cut two of the Large Butterflies 1 in Pink Glitter Card and the other in Bazzill Bling but I do not have the packaging for this die so I cannot tell you whose it is. Sorry!!  I used Robert Addams Dies to cut the "6 Today".   I added a Bright Spotty Rainbow Ribbon which is from Little Angels Buttons and Craft Supplies. and used my Tattered Lace Bow Maker to tie a double bow.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday.  To finish I added various Paper/Silk flowers and Aqua Pearl Gems.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share my Daughters card with me.  Its my eldest Son's Birthday at the end of October so I need to crack on with making his card.  I get carried away making Girly cards lol!  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think and I hope to see you again soon.

Another Busy Attempt!

Hi Everyone

If any of you are regulars to my blog then you will know that I crave to make a card like the "Busy" Tilda Cards that you see around Blogland and you will know that I keep trying.  Here is another try lol!

I have a special card to share with you today.  I made it for my friend (and Teamie) for her Birthday.

This is one of her favourite Images.  It's from PPinkydolls and is called Looking For You.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.  I decided to try and have another go at making a "busy" card.  I don't have a lot of success with these (it has been a while since one was successful) and most attempts end up in the bin but I was quite happy with this one.  I recently acquired however some dies that a friend didn't want anymore so I cut all sorts of shapes and decided to have a go.  As most of the dies do not have any packaging I am unable to tell you the names of them.  I can however tell you that there are a couple of Tattered Lace Elegant Flourishes in there and a Marrainne Creatables Flourish!.  I cut the shape of the card using a GoKreate Frilly Frame and I actually used a pretty Kanban Paper but I have covered all of it so you can't see it lol!  The Patterned Paper that the image is layered onto is from Hunkdory.  I have stamped the Birthday Wishes Sentiment from Stampingallday using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  I added lots of Paper Flowers and finished with Pearl Gems for the Centres and some Clear Pink Flower Gems.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

I used a 6" Square Card Blank and a Purple Glitter Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  The Patterned Paper is from a Dovecraft Back to Basics  Paper Pack.  I cut the circle using my X-Cut nesting circles die to cut the Circle.  I have added a Lilac Grosgrain Ribbon and Lilac Lace Border under the Image.  I used 3 Paper Flowers and Pearl Gems.

Sweet Treats!

Hi Everyone

Its the start of a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers.  This is my 2nd card as Guest Designer this month.  I am having great fun!

The theme this week is "Sweet Treats".  I made my card using Mouse with Cupcake which is from Gerda Steiner Designs.  I coloured this image using my ProMarkers.

My Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Romance.  The Yummy Patterned Paper is from Dovecraft's Cupcake Boutique Paper Pad.  The sentiment is from Stampingallday and I used a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad to stamp it. The Die Cut Cupcake is an Elisabeth Craft Die and I cut it out using Black Card, put white behind the outline and cut this with a craft knife and then coloured this with ProMarkers.  I then added the little Pearls to it.  To finish I added a Satin Bow and Pearl Gems to the Image.

Thank you for sharing this card with me today.  I do hope you will come along and join in the challenge with us.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think. I do appreciate you leaving them.  Hope to see you again soon.

Beautifully Red

Hi Everyone

I have a card to share with you today.  I bought this Image a while ago and have only just got around to colouring and making it into something.  The Image is by Katerina Koukiotis and is called Beautifully Red and I bought this from Sweet Pea Stamps.  I coloured her using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Glitter to her wings and her Hair Bows.  The Card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and I used an Encapsulated Gold Glitter Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  The Patterned Paper is a Bo Bunny double sided paper so I used both sides!  I cut a Tattered Lace small Cherished Flourish in the Gold Card and added Red/White Paper Flowers.  To finish I popped on a Red Satin Bow, Red Heart Gems and Pearl Gems.

Red isn't usually a colour I tend to work with unless I am making a Christmas Card but I loved making this!

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Kicking up the Leaves

Hi Everyone

I have some very exciting news to share with you today.  I was recently invited to join the team at  Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog.  Thank you to the talented team for making feel really welcome.

This is a fortnightly Challenge and you must follow the theme and also include a Sentiment on your project.

I am so thrilled to be able to share with you my first project for them.  The Theme for the fortnight is Fall Fun + Sentiment. I post in Team B which is the 2nd week of the Challenge and hopefully get you all fired up to come and join in.  There is still plenty of time and it would be fabulous to have you come and join in with us. I love this Autumn time of year and love walking around looking at the colours that it brings.

We are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter and the DT were given some lovely images to work with.  I chose to use Autumn Leaves and I coloured it using ProMarkers.  As you might have guessed I have had a delivery of some Spellbinders Circle Dies and I just had to try them out as soon as they arrived.  Had a lot of trouble with the cuts sticking in the dies but found out that Wax Paper is fabulous for this and so promptly purchased some of this and as you can see it does actually work!!  The Patterned Paper I have used is from Lili of the Valley's Enchantment Paper Pack and I cut the leaves using my Creative Expressions Vinery Die.  I added a Satin Bow and the Happy Birthday To You Sentiment to finish.

Thank you for sharing my card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Hi Everyone

Its's time for the start of a new Challenge at Through The Purple Haze Challenges.  Our theme for this month is Birthday.  It would be lovely if you would come on over and see the wonderful creations the team have made to inspire you and also join in with us this month.

We were sponsored by Zuri Artsy Craftsy for this challenge but I didn't fancy the supplied images so I decided to grab one of her freebies and use that instead.  This one is called Mis XV and I coloured her using ProMarkers. She looks like a princess and great for a Girly Birthday card!

For my DT card this time I made a 6" Easel Card.  My Base/Frame layer is Bazzill Basics Romance and the Pink Patterned Papers are from First Edition Love Letters Paper Pack.  I added a Pink Ribbon and Hand Tied a Bow.  The sentiments were stamped using a Memento Tuxedo Ink pad.  To finish I added Pink Pearl Gems and Cream Cabouchons.
