Anniversay Sketch

Hi Everyone

Its unusual for me to take part in Sketch Theme Challenges but this one over at Crafty Boots really caught my eye and I wanted to have a go!  I decided to make an Anniversary Card.

The Card is an A5 Size.  I used Hunkydory Celebration Clear Stamps and used a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad to stamp them up.  I added the colour using ProMarkers.  The Sentiment is from stampingallday.  I added a couple of Red Gem Hearts to finish.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Here is the Sketch and My card next to it.  I am quite pleased with my interpretation.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Introducing Me and Fairy Flutters!

Hi Everyone

If you haven't already heard there is a New Challenge Blog Launching on September 1st 2015.  It's called Unicorn Challenge Blog and this is my Introduction Post as DT Member.

I have used an image called Fairy Flutters that I bought a while ago from Fairy Tangle Art and it's taken me some time to get together the courage to colour it.  It looks so intense!  But I have taken the plunge and done it!  I coloured her using ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to her.  I decided to make a White on White card. I love White on White cards they are always so elegant/classy.  I have only ever made White on White for Christmas and I wanted to do one for a different reason so this was a great opportunity.  Its one of my favourite styles.  The Card Blank is 7" Square and I have used a White Pearlised Card for my Base/Frame Layer.  I then added an embossed White Swiss Dots Card.  I used a couple of different Die Cuts.  Both are by Memory Box and they are Whimsical Circle and Fluttering Corner.  I have used added Paper Flowers, a Large White Satin Bow, Some String Pearl Flowers, White Round Pearl Gems for the Flower Centres and some White Pearl Flower Gems.  I also added a round "Have a Happy Day" Sentiment.

Anything Goes with Monochrome Daisy Elf

Hello Everybody!

It's time for a new Challenge (#45) over at Scribble and Scrap Challenge.  The Theme is Anything Goes and it would be fabulous if you would come on over and join in with us.

Here is my DT Inspiration for this fortnights Challenge.

I loved colouring up this Daisy Elf from Aurora Wings so much (Previous Post) that I felt the urge to colour her up again but this time in Black and White. If you regularly visit me you will know that this is one of my favourite colour combinations/styles. (I do have others lol)  I coloured her with ProMarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to her.  For the little ribbon detail on her gown I used a Clear Star Sakura Gelly Roll Pen.  When I turned the light on in my Craft Corner earlier (which is somewhat dark no matter what time of day it is ) she just sparkled on out at me!  The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics BlackBird.  The Patterned Paper is from the Black Charm Paper Pad.  I cut two of the Creative Expressions Petite Vinery Dies and added Black Paper Roses to these.  I also added some White Paper Flowers with Black Pearl Gems for Centres.  To finish I added a Happy Birthday Sentiment and a Black Satin Bow.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Patriot Colours at Morgans ArtWorld

Hi Everyone

If you haven't already heard Morgan Fitzsimons has a new Facebook Group.  Please come and join the group Morgans ArtWorld which you can find here.
There is also a new Morgans ArtWorld Challenge Blog which starts in June. There will be a blog hop and themed Challenges.  Hope you can join us for our Fortnightly Challenges.

Here is a card I have made using one of her fabulous Images called Garden 1.  I made a Birthday Card for a Family Member who is 80!  He is a Patriotic sort so I used our Flag Colours.   He also has a Garden Full of Gnomes which he likes to look at from the conservatory window, so I combined the two!

To make this card I coloured the image using Promarkers and Graph'It Markers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to all the White bits.  The Card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layers are Bazill Basics in a Blue and Red.  I used a Red and White Striped card and a Blue a White Gingham and layered the Image onto top of these.  I added a Bunting Ribbon Border and finished with a Red, White and Blue Pearl Gem.

Thank you for stopping by and sharing this card with me.  I always look forward to reading your comments so please leave me a note to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Sew Pink!

Hi Everyone

I wanted to share with you a card that I have made.  Its going in my pile for the Teachers at the end of the School Year.  Think I only have a couple more to make now and thats them all done!  They don't just have one teacher anymore they get 3 each so with two of my children at school I get the pleasure of making 6 cards.  Our youngest starts next September so no doubt I will have to make 9 next time lol!

The Image is from Beansie Doodles and is called Sew What - Buttons and I coloured her using ProMarkers and used a Gelly Roll Pink Glitter Pen for the swirls on the wings and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to colour the Needle.  To make the Faux Stitching (A new Technique for me, I have never done this before!) I used the Pink Glitter Gelly Roll Pen again.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Bling.  The Patterned Paper is from my Stash and I thought it went perfectly as it reminds me of Patterns on Material.  My daughter had a dress with the checked pattern on last summer in exactly this colour!!  To keep in with the sewing theme I added Pink Button.  The Sentiment is from Stampingallday and is stamped using a Memento Tuzxedo Black Ink Pad.  To finish I popped a Pink Satin Bow onto the corner of the Image

Lace & Ribbon with Paradise of Stamps

Hi Everyone

I am so pleased to have been selected to be a Guest Designer at Paradise of Stamps.  There is a new Challenge just started so please come on over and join us.

The Theme for this fortnight is "Lace & Ribbon" and my creation is below.  Thank you to the team at Paradise of Stamps for letting me be your Guest Designer for this Challenge.

I made a New Baby Card to fit this theme.  It's for a friend who is expecting their first Grandchild.  As they are having a surprise (unlike me who couldn't wait and had to find out what we were having all 3 times) I couldn't make it Pink or Blue so I went with Green!  I wish them every Happiness with their new little bundle.  The Image I have used is a Wee Stamps and is called "Wee One".  I coloured it up using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Green Shade.  The Polka Dot Card is from my stash.  I used Nottingham Gathered Lace which I put around the Image and added a Green Satin Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The sentiment is from Stampingall day and I stamped this using a Memento Tuxedo Black Ink Pad.  To finish I added Green Pearl Gems.

Thank you for visiting my blog and sharing this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I hope to see you again soon.

Anything Goes with a Big Kiss!

Hi Everyone

It is time for a new Challenge (#44) over at Scribble and Scrap Challenge Blog.  The Theme as always is Anything Goes and we would love it if you would come on over and join in with us.

For My DT Card this time I used an image which I have spotted coloured up around Blogland recently and had to go and  buy it and colour it up myself.  I think this is one of the most adorable images I have come across.  It is from Sweet Pea Stamps and is called "Blow Me a Kiss" by Lynne Stansbery.  I coloured her using ProMarkers.  The Card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzill Basics Pink Shade.  I purchased my first ever Martha Stewart Punch and I have used it to make the Decorative Edges.  It is called Arch Lattice Edging Punch.  The Patterned Paper is from Dovecrafts Tea Party Paper Pack.  The flourish I cut in White using Wild Rose Studio Blossom Burst Die and decorated it with Pink Pearls.  I added a Pink Polka Dot Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  To finish I added Paper Roses.

I hope you like my card.  Thank you for taking the time to visit my Blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

Pink and Pooches

Hi Everyone

Thankfully today the strong wind that we have had the last couple of days has died down and its a lovely day here with the sun out.

I wanted to share this CAS Card that I made for my Friend.  She is a fellow Crafter and she saw this Image at Sweet Pea Stamps and expressed an absolute love for it!  So I decided to buy it and make her up a card as a little surprise for being a really Great Mate!  Her favourite Colour is Pink so I had to get that in somewhere and unless I made the dogs Pink it had to be the hair lol!  I coloured this using my ProMarkers.  The Image is called Maltese Girl and is by Charmaine Flannery.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and the Pink Frame/Base Layer is a Bazzill Basics.  The Friend Verse is from Inkylicious and I stamped this up using a Versa Colour Pink Ink Pad..  As it was CAS I just added a couple of Pink Pearl Gems to her hair and two of the corners.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges
