Twinkle Twinkle!

Hello Everyone

Hope you are all ok today?  I would like to share my latest creation with you which I have made for a Friends Birthday using a Morehead Rubber Stamp Called Twinkle.  How adorable is she?  I coloured her using Promarkers Ice Grey colour Range and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to the Flowers, Wand and her Wings.  My Base/Frame Layer is Bazzill Basics Blackbird and the Patterned Paper is from the Papermania Capsule Paper Pad.  I cut two Marriane Craftables Flourishes in Black and added Black and White Paper Roses to these.  I used a Polka Dot Organza Ribbon and Hand Tied a Double Bow and put a White Rose in the Centre.  I added a Happy Birthday Sentiment and finished with Black Pearl Gems.

Let's Party Purple Tilda

Hi There

A wet and windy few days here where I am!  Today I would like to share this CAS Card with you.  It's for my Nieces 18th Birthday which is later on in the year.  She doesn't like fussy fancy cards and Purple is her favourite colour so this is just great for her.  The Image is called Tilda in Evening Dress and I have coloured her using Promarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Angel Whispers Glitter to the Bubbles from her Champagne.  The Card Blank is a 6" Scalloped Square and my Purple Layer is Bazzil Basics.  I Hand Stamped the Sentiments (which both came from Stampingallday) using a Tuxedo Memento Ink Pad.  I added a small Purple Bow and finished with Purple Pearl Gems.

Fitztown Challenge #68 Anything Goes With A Twist!

Hi Everyone!

Its another Midway Inspiration by Team B for February's Challenge over at Fitztown Challenge Blog.  The theme is Anything Goes With a Twist of HAVE A HEART.  We want to see a Heart on your creations!

The Image I have used is called SNP 7 and she can be found here.    I coloured her using Promarkers and added Diamond Sparkles Pink and Angel Whisper Glitter to her and also used a Gelly Roll Clear Star Pen to add more Glitz!  For this and more gorgeous images visit Fitztown Store here.

I created a Birthday Card and I used several Hearts on this one and the Background Paper has a Hearts and Swirls Pattern!  This time I made a Stepper Card and I decided to stray away from the way I usually make these and put the Image on the Middle Step rather than on the Left Hand Side where the Images traditionally go!  I used a Black Card as my Base/Frame Layer and the Background Paper is from the Brocade Paper Pack.  I have used several dies when making this card.  They are the Sizzix Scalloped Hearts and a Cheery Lynn Celtic heart which I layered over the top of the scalloped one.  The Circle at the back with the hearts is a Marianne Design called Tiny's Hearts and I have also added a small Precious Heart cut in Glittery Pink.  I used a Black Satin and a Pink Grosgrain Ribbon to make the Ribbon Borders and Hand Tied the Bows.  To finish I added Pink and Clear Heart Gems and several Pink Pearl Gems.

I have to admit that I am really thrilled with the end result of this.

Thank you for sharing this card with me and visiting my blog.  Please come back again soon and I would really love it if you would leave me a comment to let me know what you think!  Thanks for stopping by!

Football Anyone?

Hi There

Hope you are all ok?  Today I would like to share with a Birthday Card for a Football Mad Boy!  The Image is coloured with Promarkers and is called Anime Soccer Digital Stamp by Kenny K.  I have a darts mad husband in the house too and I struggle to find any images for darts, if anyone knows of one can you let me know please?  The Card Blank is 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazill Basics Blue Colour.  The Football Background Paper is from my stash.  I also used a Blue Gingham Card too.  I Hand Stamped the "Happy Birthday" sentiment using a Memento Tuxedo Ink Pad.  I added a Blue Ribbon Border and glued a little Trophy Charm to this.  To finish I added Blue Pearl Gems.

Non Traditional Colors at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge

Hi There

I am very pleased to be a GD at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge for this fortnight.  The Theme is Non Traditional Colors.  Thank you to Cindy and the team for having me!

Fitztown are Sponsoring this Challenge.  I have used image Winter 8 which you can find along with all the other fabulous Fitztown Images here.

Here is how I created my Card.  I coloured the image with Promarkers.  This is the second set of Sepia Tone colours.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is a Bazzil Basics Brown Shade.  Both the Background Papers are from LOTV Krafty Christmas Paper Pad.  I have used several dies on this card.  I cut two of the Memory Box Frosty Wreaths, one in White and one in Bazill Fawn.  I used Robert Addams Poinsettia Die again cutting these in White and Fawn and I also cut a Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish in White.  I Hand Tied the Big Bow using White and a Beige colour Organza Ribbon.  To finish I added Brown Pearl Gems.

I am pleased with the end result! There isn't much difference between this set of colours and the colours that I used for my first Sepia Project.

Thank you for visiting my blog.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  I hope you can come back again soon!

Vintage Ballerina

Hi Everyone

Half term is now upon us.  Seems like the kids only just went back after Christmas!  It's going to be a noisy week in our house with our 3 Monkeys running around!

Today I would like to share with you a new style for me!  I have never attempted a Vintage Style Card before but I like to try new things so thought I would give it a go.  I knew that Sepia colours and Black and White could be classed as Vintage but had no clue about anything else so I had to research it.  I saw that there were several styles but the one that caught my eye was the Black and White with just a splash of one other colour.  So here it is!  I coloured the Image Black and White (Greyscale) with a Splash of Pink!  The Image is a new one from the very talented Hannah Lynn.  She is called Ballet Girl.  I coloured her using Promarkers.  The Card Blank is a 6" Square and my Base/Frame Layer is Bazill Basics.  The musical note Background Paper is from Vintage 1 Paper Pack which I purchased recently.  I mounted the Image onto a Spellbinders Timeless Rectangle Die Cut which I also cut in the same Card as my Base/Frame Layer.  I laid this on top of a Pink Doily which I decorated with Brown Pearl Gems.  I used some Pink Crochet Trim added a Lacy Satin Bow and various Brown Paper Flowers.  A couple of tiny Pink Pearl Gems were my finishing touch.

Aqua Velva Cocktail Chilly

Hi Everyone

Hope you are all ok in Blogland today.

I would like to share a CAS Style Card with you today that I have made.  The Image is Cocktail Chilly and is a new one I purchased from Pink Gem Designs.  I coloured up this little cutie using Promarkers and Graph'It Pens.  I decided to have him bathing in and drinking a blue drink which is called an Aqua Velva Cocktail!  The Card Blank is 6" Square and I have used a Green Card for the Base layer and just mounted the image onto it.  I have added Green Nailhead Gems just to add a bit of bling.

Tilda Sepia Style!

Hi Everyone

Hope this post finds you all fit and well.  Another cold few days here and we even had a flurry of snow which didn't last more than a few hours much to my children's disappointment!

Today I would like to share with you a card with a new colour technique for me!  I recently had a go in an earlier post at colouring black and white or greyscale as it's sometimes called.  I enjoyed trying that so thought I would give Sepia colouring a try next!  I found on the net a couple of different colour lists for using Promarkers and decided to try this set of colours first.  I don't usually give a colour list but I am going to tell you what they are so that when you see the card using the next set you can see the difference (if any lol)  Cocoa, Caramel, Sandstone, Pastel Beige & Satin

Here is what I used to create this card.  The Image is called Halo Tilda and I stamped this and the sentiment using a Memento Cocoa Ink Pad.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square.  I used a couple of different shades of Bazill Basics Card for Base/Frame Layers and the Patterned Papers are from the LOTV Krafty Christmas Paper Pack.  I cut the Flourishes using my Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish Die and to finish I added a Satin Bow and Brown Pearl Gems.  I am pleased with the results of this little trial!

Thank you for once again visiting my blog.  I would like to welcome my new followers, its lovely to have people join my little world!  I hope you will leave me a message and let me know what you think of my new technique!  Hope to see you again soon.

Mother's Day Tulipa

Hi Everyone

How excited am I.  I have pre-ordered the A4 Bigshot Machine that is being released in March.  I cannot wait.  I love my Little Big Shot and have been waiting for the day that Sizzix bought out a Big Sister for it!
Today I would like to share with you the Mother's Day Card I have made for my Mum.  The Image is a Digi Stamp from Art By Miran and is called Tulipa.

I used a 7" Square Card and the image is coloured using Promarkers.  My Base/Frame Layer is Bazill Bling and both Patterned Papers are from the Papermania Pink Capsule Paper Pack.  I have used Joanna Sheen's Josephine Lace Border Die to cut the edging and  the flourishes are Petite Vinery from Creative Expressions.  Just a couple of my new dies that I purchased at the Craft Show at Sandown Park recently.  I Hand Stamped the Sentiment which is from stampingallday, added a Satin and Lace Bow, some Paper Flowers and finished with lots of Pink Pearl Gems and a few White ones for the flower centers.
