Peppermint and Gingerbread!

Hi Everyone

It is my turn to share a little bit of inspiration with you today for Digi Doodle Studios

And here it is in the cute form of Jacks Ginger Cocoa Mug which I have coloured with Copics. I decorated the cake with Liquid Pearls.

I went slightly non traditional with a Mint Green and White colour combo

The Card blank is a 7" Square and I have used Mint Green and White embossed dots card for the layers.

The sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  To finish I popped on a Mint Green satin bow

Don't forget to visit the Digi Doodle Studios Facebook Page where you can enter our Anything Goes using a DDS Image and we also have our monthly challenge over on the Challenge Blog where the theme for this month is Christmas/Winter

In the Candlelight

Hi Everyone

I am so excited to share with you my finished October 2018 Kit and Clowder colouring Class.

All coloured with Copics! I am pleased with how this turned out!  I am impressed with how the floor glows from the candle lol!

The Image is called Special Edition Penguin Candlelight  from Whimsy Stamps and I printed the image so that it would fit on a 5" x 7" Card Blank with a border.   With this in mind I layered it onto a gold encapsulated glitter card.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Peek-A-Boo Here I am!

Hi Everyone

It is the start of the last challenge of this year over at Creative Craft Cottage

But never fear we will be back on 7th January with the next challenge after the DT have had a break!

The theme for the next month is Christmas is Coming and we are being sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps

For my DT Card I chose to work with this image called Reindeer Blocks and I have coloured them with Copics

The card blank is a 7" Square and the patterned paper is from Helz Cuppleditch and is glittered but this doesn't show in the photo.  I kept this card fairly simple as the image is quite large and only embellished with a satin blue bow.  I hope you like this, it's quite non traditionla in colour and I had fun colouring up this little guy in all his windows.

I would like to enter this card into the following Challenges

Glowing Lantern

Hi Everyone

Today is the start of the new challenge over at Unicorn Challenge

The theme for this month is Use a Sentiment.  This is the last challenge for this year as we will be taking a break in December.  We will be back on 1st January.

For my DT card I have used this gorgeous image called Girl with Lantern from Lee Holland Illustrations  This is the first time I have coloured up one of these digis.  There is so much choice in the store and they are all so cute.

I used Memento Inks to create the background and the lantern glow and I coloured the image with Copics.  I added White Liquid Pearls to look like snow flakes.  I finished by adding Diamond Sparkles Glitter to all the furry bits and a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen to the ring on the lantern and the buttons on the coat.

The theme for this month is Winter Time.  I do hope you can come on over and play along with us this month.  This will be the last challenge of the year as the DT are taking a break during December

For my DT Project this time I created a Gift Bag and Matching Card Set.  I made a large bag, a small bag and a 6" square card to go with them all using this cute pre-coloured decoupage card kit from Pink Gem Designs

I decoupaged the images and cut tags using a GoKreate Tag Die.  I stamped the sentiment on them using a Memento Tuxedo Ink pad.  I then added a Pink Satin Ribbon, hand tied a Bow and popped on Pearl Gems.

Hi Everyone

I love this time of year when all the new Christmas Images are released.

I jumped in with both feet this month after seeing the bonus class at Kit and Clowder was Gingerbread Colouring.  I have always disliked how my gingerbread people turn out and so I signed up to join the monthly class so that I could get the bonus Gingerbread class and learn how to colour it up so that it looked ok.

I am sooooo happy with how this turned out.  To find out more about Kit and Clowder colouring classes click HERE

This is coloured with Copics and a White Gelly Roll pen.
The photo really doesn't due it justice lol.  The Card Blank is a 7" Square.   I layered the finished image onto Gold Glitter and Gold Mirror Card and stamped the sentiment.

I don't normally do many close ups but as I am so pleased with my colouring here are a few!!

Santa's Gifts

Hi Everyone

This is my second post today showcasing another new release from Digi Doodle Studios

I so love colouring Santa's and this one is particularly CUTE

He is called Santa's Gifts and I have coloured him with Copics, ProMarkers and a White Gelly Roll Pen.

I made this card ready for our youngest Son.  The image is just prefect for him and this card needed no frills so I printed it quite large so it would take up alot of the card front.

I added some Diamond Sparkles to the furry bits.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me today.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.

Witchy Shoes

Hi Everyone

Its such an exciting day for me.  Digi Doodle Studios did a new release on 6th October and the team have been showcasing them daily.  It feels like its taken forever to get around to my turn lol.

I love all the new releases and I had trouble deciding which one to work with so I went for two (the other is in a separate post today!)

You can find all the new releases and the other fabulous images in the store HERE

This one is called Witchy Shoes and I fell in love with this.  I usually colour up people/animals and this was a pleasant change as there was no skin, hair or fur to colour!  I had such fun with the tights!

I used Copics to colour this up and added sparkle to the star wreath at the top using a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen.  I hope that you can see this in the close up photo.  I used Memento Inks to go round the image this was a mix of Grey and Yellow to take off the white around the image!

The card blank is a 7" Square and I used black shimmer card and yellow bazzill as the frame layers.  The spotty paper is a digital download which I bought a few years ago on Etsy.

The "Halloween" and the bows are both Tattered Lace dies which came in the Advent calendar a couple of years ago!

I really did love colouring this one up and think its jumped up to number one on my DDS favourite list.
