Belle of Christmas Post

Hi Everyone

It's the last day of October and that falls on a Tuesday this time so it's my turn to post on the Digi Doodle Studios Blog

For this weeks inspiration I made a Christmas Card using this gorgeous image called Christabelle such a beautiful name for this digi stamp

I coloured the Image using Copics, a Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.  The Background I created using Memento Inks and White Liquid Pearls.  The background is actually sky blue and purple shades but the carmera doesn't pick it up very well.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday. I layered the whole thing onto Red and Black Bazzill which I think really makes the image Pop!

This Image is one of my many favourites in the store as I love Christmas Images with Post boxes in.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today and share this card with me.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think

Christmas Kitty

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge today over at A Gem of A Challenge

The theme for the next fortnight is Ribbons and Pearls.  I hope that you can come on over and join in with us.

I was asked by my friend to make a Christmas Card for her Daughter and Son In Law.  She said it needed to have a Cat on it!  So I went into the Pink Gem Designs Store and found this gorgeous digi called Meg in Hat & Scarf

I coloured him up using Copics and Diamond Sparkles Glitter.  I cut him out using a Go Kreate Die and the used a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle to layer him onto.  The card Blank is a 7" Scalloped Square and the Patterned Papers are from LOTV.  The sentiment I typed when I printed the image.  I added a Blue Ribbon and Hand Tied the Bow.  The Image had circles drawn for snow flakes so I popped on White Pearl Gems for these and finished by adding Blue Pearl Gems.

The Card is a 6" Square and the patterned papers are from LOTV.  The Merry Christmas sentiment is from DRS Designs and is Hand Stamped using a Memento Cocoa Ink Pad.  I cut a Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish and then used a Robert Addams Poinsettia Die to cut the flowers and add to the flourish.  I finished by adding Brown Pearl Gems.

I have coloured her using Copics and added Frantage around the image.  I do like to play with Frantage lol!  I used Black Base card to cover the whiteboard of the covers and layered black and purple spotted paper.  I added a feather, and some die cut spiders and bats.  To finish I popped on some Black Roses.

Decorative Edge Autumn

Hi Everyone

Its the middle of the month and the new challenge has started today over at CCC Digi Creations

The theme for the next fortnight is Fantasy.  I hope that you can come on over and play along with us.

We have two sponsors for this challenge one of which is The Paper Shelter and the team were kindly given this image called Autumn Enchantment to work with .

I coloured the image using Copics and went for a CAS style card but with a decorative edge which I cut using a Die-Namics Stitched Edge die.  Takes a bit of work to cut it straight and get it right but I got there in the end after alot of paper flying across the room lol. To keep it simple I added a Brown Satin Bow to finish it off.

Monochrome Magic with a Twist of Stars

Hi Everyone

It is the start of a new challenge over at Monochrome Magic today

The theme for this month is Monochrome or Monochrome with a TWIST of Add Stars.  I hope that you will come on over and play along with me this month.

For my Inspiration Project this month I made my Eldest Son's Birthday Card.  All my children have recently taken up Martial Arts and have passed their first grading which promoted them from a plain white belt to a white belt with a black stripe.  So I used this image which is perfect from Pink Gem Designs called Karate Andy and I have coloured him with Copics

The Card is a 7" Square and the patterned papers are from my stash.  I cut the star banner from an unamed die that I bought recently.  The sentiment I typed on the laptop before printing the image.

I love this image and will be using it quite a lot I think!

Sylvie Ballerina CAS Style

Hi Everyone

It's Tuesday again so that means it's my turn to post on the Digi Doodle Studios Blog

For my Inspiration card this week I have used one of my favourite Digi Stamps in the Store called Sylvie Ballerina  I adore this image.  She was the first Image I coloured up which if you are a regular to my blog you will remember she was done in Pinks.  This time I coloured her up in Blues and made a card which is CAS in style although it is layered up and Glittery lol.  I made a Birthday card to send to a friend and fellow crafter who lives in The Netherlands

I printed her larger this time so that she filled up the card.  I coloured her using copics and added Dovecraft Glitter to the centre of the flower on her head band.  The Card is a 6" Square and I have used Blue Glitter Card to layer her up.  The sentiment is hand stamped and is from Stampingallday.  I finished by adding a Pearl Gem to her Bow on her Ballet Shoes.

I love colouring this image, wonder what colour she will appear on my blog next lol!

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and share this card with me today.  My friends Birthday was yesterday so she would have seen it before it is live on my blog lol.  Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think.  Hope to see you again soon.

I cut the image using a WRS Die.  I used a Go Kreate Frilly Frame Die to create the shape and used Patterned Papers from Trimcraft.  I used Swirl Memory Box die, the butterflies, leaves and the tag are an unamed brand of die.  I added a Doily between the first set of layers.  I used my Tattered Lace Bow Maker to make the double bow and popped on a large gem in the middle.  I popped on Lace at the bottom, paper flowers and pearl gems to decorate.
